We are looking for a Product Quality Engineer who has knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance of suppliers and products, preferably also with knowledge within electronics, hardware and software. This is what you will do
The main task of our Product Quality and Testing department is to assure quality already in pre serial process and before the products become FlexLink standard items. This means close work with designers at Technology and Innovation department, Procurement department, product owners, project leaders, suppliers and other stakeholders to secure robust, reliable and premium products for our customers.
You are a highly motivated Engineer with a combination of knowledge, experience and skills with quality tools and mechanical engineering, where knowledge about electronics, software and hardware are strong merit. You are a great team player and want to contribute and join our department and FlexLink’s journey towards smart conveyor solutions.
Main activities and responsibilities:
As our Product Quality Engineer, you assure quality within development projects, select, evaluate and approve new suppliers, new prototypes, pre-series and final samples. You approve the release of serial production regarding quality assurance. You assure that the quality meets standards and requirements before transfer of finished development project to serial production and the Operations Quality Team. Moreover, you will:
Validate mechanical products, electronics, software and hardware
Develop Quality assurance standards, processes and routines regarding approval of different products
Work cross-functionally and support teams and departments in sharing the quality assurance and knowledge to achieve premium quality products
Support in other tasks connected to Quality Assurance and customer satisfaction
This is you
To be successful in your role, you enjoy working together with colleagues towards common goals with a customer-oriented focus, always aiming to secure FlexLink operations so our customers do not have disturbances due to quality. Also, you:
Have a bachelor’s or preferably master’s degree in mechanical engineering
Have at least 3 years of experience with quality assurance tools, supplier audit experience, APQP and PPAP process
Are fluent in English and Swedish (or want to learn Swedish)
Want to work with both standard procedures and break ground for new standards and routines
Open for business travels
