About this opportunity
Join a team that is leading the Global Network Management Customer Adaptation business. The team is set to define as well as develop services business to support Ericsson customer engagements & software deliveries beyond the standard Product offering. The team drives service development, service industrialization and provides key competence in customer delivery engagements implemented together with our offshore teams.
We are opening a position for a Software Developer to join and strengthen up the expertise on our customer built software services around the Ericsson Network Management suite. The primary task of the role would be crafting and delivering customer adaptations with a focus on new solutions and critical customer engagements on products including Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) and Ericsson Intelligent Controller (EIC).
This would also include supporting the automation of our delivery processes and pipelines, CI/CD. And as such, you would be expected to lead/support the definition and execution of agile processes for how we shall design, deliver, and maintain software and lead/support in technical sales and efforts estimations.
It is significant for team members to make a direct impact to how customers perceive our solutions and have a direct insight to the business outcome of our activities! You will work to evolve our offerings in an area where we see a strong momentum for software and service delivery business in the coming years. The engagements are global, work will be carried with both colleagues internally as well as customers and suppliers to Ericsson globally. In most engagements, delivery is carried remotely but there could be occasional cases of travel worldwide for internal or customer activities.
As one of our key developers, your involvement in end to end activities in most things we do, from Product reviews to customer deliveries and asset creation is key! It will require good analytical and technical skills, social skills and a strong personal drive and demeanor to learn.

What you will do
Support pre-sales activities, including identifying customer opportunities and needs as well as support performing pre-studies and commercial offerings to customers
Craft solution designs and configurations in customer networks
Drive implementation process and develop customer adaptations
Support strategy and new service development activities
Lead remote and on-site customer deliveries.
Support identify and drive product/solution and serviceability improvements and requirements towards Ericsson product units and services teams



You will bring
Software solutioning and design experience (work package definition, solution design, testing, etc.) in some or several of the used languages, tools and protocols such as:
Java SE/EE, Python and Go, including multithreaded/process, unit testing and distributed systems
Experience of Web Design (JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML, CSS)
Cloud native architecture, containers, K8s, Docker, Micro Services, Helm
SNMP/REST/NetConf/CORBA/Kafka/OpenAPI
Spring Boot, GitLab/GitRunner, Software artifact repository e.g., JFrog, Jira
Linux



2. Knowledge and experience in automation, AI/ML, agile ways of working, software engineering principles and process transformation

What you will do
Design and run test plans and test cases to ensure they meet the required specifications and requirements.
Continuously improve the testing process by seeing opportunities to optimize testing activities, including automation and scripting.
Prepare and secure the test environment.
Interpret the test results and share with relevant stakeholders and team members.
Cooperate with other Team System Testers in other Cross Functional Teams.


You will bring
Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Shown experience in testing packet core equipment.
Knowledge of 3GPP standards, protocols, and interfaces (e.g., S1, S6a, S11, S5, Gx, Gy, Gz) Really enjoy trouble shooting and testing.
A sense of urgency and understanding for what is included in a job well done.
An inquisitive approach and a strong problem-solving demeanor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Board Power Radio sections at Lindholmen works with research, development, and maintenance of the board power solutions to the majority of the Ericsson Radio Product Portfolio. What you will do
In you we see a skilled power designer and mentor, that can take part in early technology studies, predevelopment, realization, and validation in products, to build an optimized solution.

As a senior designer you are involved from a high level, setting the power architecture down to design of Point of load converters. Protection and supervision circuits, electromagnetic Interference filters, isolated converters and magnetic design is fundamental and seen as core knowledge. There will be opportunities to investigate different areas, and we believe you will find it exciting to support in a variety of tasks. Hence, you should have a driving personality and like networking and building contacts. The work includes interaction with design disciplines across Ericsson, such as digital design, system design and building practices. Cooperation with global production sites and other design centers comes with the daily work.

You will bring
Most of all you have an inquisitive mind and are willing to adapt to new methods and techniques and take initiative to challenge and improve the daily work. You work well independently, but you are also an excellent teammate setting the team goals as priority one. You are experienced within the field and have:

BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent
Demonstrated knowledge from related field, with several years of experience from analogue and digital power hardware design
Skills in schematic and Layout design, using PCB design tools such as Cadence, Mentor Graphics etc.
Good experience of working in laboratory environment (instruments, measurement techniques etc.)
Knowledge in simulating power converters and power systems
High Power DC/DC is of essence, and AC/DC knowledge is meritorious
Proficient skills in English; both verbal and written

What you will do

Together with the team, you are responsible for analysis and implementation of customer requirements, building as well as adapting product/system/network configurations and using system monitoring/troubleshooting tools to give best-in-class support to our stakeholders.

Within the above area you:
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
Respond to technical support queries and provide solutions to stakeholders.
Implement the technical solutions based on cloud technology including NFVi, Containerization, cloud platforms, cloud data centres.

What you will do

What you will do
You will be responsible for our cloud based OSS system called Ericsson Network Manager(ENM) that is deployed on several clouds around the world serving enterprise customers. Your team will be involved in developing new features to satisfy the needs of our Enterprise customers. You will also be working with our talented development teams on the system integration between ENM and our EP5G product and troubleshoot issues whenever they arise.

You will bring most of these skills:
Google Cloud (Strong cloud understanding)
Kubernetes
OSS Domain Expertise and system tuning and performance
Solid and extensive Linux experience
Rosetta or Terraform experience
Jenkins
Strong network understanding
Scripting and automation experience
Creating/updating their own MOPs
Strong debugging, troubleshooting experience
Experience from large customer integration projects

About this opportunity
We work with research, development, and maintenance of the board power solutions for the majority of the Ericsson Product Portfolio. We are a part of the Ericsson’s global design organization and engaged in developing products for the present and future mobile networks, now with heavy focus on 5G and future 6G technology.
Are you the Senior Specialist to lead and develop our simulation strategy, to build future conditions for crafting power solutions at the forefront of technology, for Ericsson's products?

What you will do
The Sr. Specialist shall lead the area of power simulation in a proactive and innovating way, including:
Keep the Ericsson power simulation expertise together as a global competence community
Bridge the gap between abstract theoretical modeling and the deep practical lab experience, the field that power electronics relies on
Identify key elements for simulation, broaden the activities of power electronics design, that can be addressed with, and benefit from applied modeling and simulation
Identify and evaluate simulation programs and methods, monitor tool and technical field developments, drive internal developments of scripts or programs when COTS software is insufficient


You will bring
Most of all you have an inquisitive mind and are willing to adapt to new methods and techniques and take initiative to challenge and improve daily work. You work well independently, but you are also an excellent teammate setting the team goals as priority one. You are experienced within the field and have:

MSc degree in Electrical Power Engineering
Several years of experience from analogue power hardware design and board power system design with demonstrable skills within power design simulation
Be able to ensure high confidence in the simulations, i.e., understand weaknesses in component models, understand underlying simplifications and assumption from various modeling approaches, understand underlying methods and tools used
Experience from leading teams
Analytic and inquisitive approach
Good collaboration & verbal skills
Proficient in English
