Provide full end-to-end solutions that cover all aspects of design aligned to target architectures, within i.e., security, legal, business, functional, non-functional, operational, deployment and migration aspects as input into Customer Statements of Work.
Propose and deliver innovative and secure solutions within the specific domain, support Proof of Concepts, product and technology selection and provide recommendations.

We are looking for three people who are in the first year of the IT program Systems Science at college/university, who are interested in taking a vacation job at Mainframe Core Operations HCL Technologies. Our goal is for you to work with us for several summers during your studies.
You will work with Mainframe environments/Operating system z/OS. Mainframe Core Operations is responsible for the monitoring and operation of a large number of Mainframe/z/OS machines worldwide.
We monitor the environments, take care of infrastructure issues, fix batch and application abends, and have a close contact with technicians all over the world. We work shifts that cover all hours of the day all year round. You will work on a shift together with regular employees
You must be available for scheduled shifts every day of the week (day and nights shifts), between mid-June and the end of August, to replace regular staff during holidays. It may be possible to plan a week's holiday during this period. Shifts also give days off from time to time. In addition, we will offer the opportunity to work certain shifts throughout the year in case of regular people's illnesses and possible absences.
In order for you to be able to start work on 15th of June, a number of training sessions are required during the period 1st of February to 15th of June. It is about a total of about 50 hours, divided into about seven to ten sessions. The training will be located according to your wishes and where the school work leaves space. Towards the end of the program, you can be expected to be able to support the organization in the event of illness or a high workload
