What are we looking for?
On our exciting adventure to develop the future at Volvo Group, we are now looking for a Group Manager in the Data Simulation and Verification section.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
* MSc/BSc in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Computer Science engineering or similar.
* Minimum five years of leadership experience (line and/or project/product management) in the engineering field.
* Previous experience in leading complex system or component development, conducting simulations and verification activities, or managing vehicle hardware/software integrations, preferably within the automotive industry.
* Strong networking abilities and communication skills in a global and multicultural environment.
* Experience with Verification and Validation processes and activities.
* Good knowledge of Truck / Car complex systems and Thermal Management (ICE-BEV-Fuel cell drivelines & cab climate).


What will you do?
As a group manager, your key responsibilities include:
* Implement TM enablers and ensure smooth flow between groups, securing effective cross section working groups.
* Maintain and develop networks within GTT Thermal teams as well as Volvo Penta, Bus, and VCE Thermal groups.
* Secure on Vehicle level the Hardware/Software integration in term of performance.
* Support Product Section (Cab Climate & Thermal Supply) and other stream providing the right planning, process and equipment to enable Verification & Verification on System, subsystem, component, software level.
* Drive the team in innovation related to advanced engineering, patent, cost improvement and method development. Foster the growth and development of your team members through an innovation culture and a fun place to work. 
* Contribute to the TM budget by providing accurate inputs to the Data Simulation Verification section.
* As a part of the Data Simulation Verification section leadership team drive section and TM substream strategies. 
* Plan and secure group strategies, deliveries, and quality inline to overall section level strategy.

Position Description

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing global non-road and marine emissions regulations for the Volvo Penta portfolio.
The “Regulatory Works” team within Emission Compliance department consists of two Regulatory Affairs Managers, who focus on lawmaking and lobbying activities for marine and industrial emission regulations, and two Regulation Engineers, who ensure compliance by integrating published regulations into Volvo Penta projects.
The department also includes dedicated teams for certification, post-certification, and regulatory works, along with country managers. This highly skilled team is spread across Sweden, U.S., China, and South Korea.
Given the importance of collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, strong networking and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
You will report to the Director of Emission Compliance.

Who are you?

Qualifications

At Testing Technology, you will contribute to product development projects with equipment, solutions and support to provide data to make our vehicles even better. You will be responsible for equipment and systems, and planning based on project needs. You will coordinate with test engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to make sure we have the right equipment and the right setup in test vehicles according to the time plan and make sure that the right data is available for the engineers and analysts. You will also contribute to long term plans when defining road maps and investigation future tools and systems. This role will require both technical depth and breadth since you will not only work with the measurement technology but also the larger eco system of the complete vehicle and the backend systems.

Who are you?

Some of these experiences could be part of your background:  
•    BSc or MSc in electrical engineering/mechatronics or other relevant educational background
•    Experience with data logging equipment and related backend systems
•    Experience from one or more of these areas: electronics, vehicle diagnostics, CAN/LIN/Ethernet communication, electrical architecture or vehicle verification

Some of the skills required in this position are:

•    Strong planning, prioritization and communication skills 
•    Good collaborations skills, both within the team and with other departments
•    Ability to think ahead, and understand future needs both short and long term
•    A C-level driver’s license would be a great bonus!

Antingen som montör i produktion eller som truckförare inom materialhantering/logistik. Who are you?
The Lead Chief Project Manager is a challenging position in charge to secure the cross functional deliveries for complex projects. A key to success is a strong internal cooperation with the Engineering functions, Group Truck Operations (GTO), Group Truck Purchasing (GTP) and Volvo Trucks brand.

Main responsibilities

The responsibility also includes to assure the quality of administrative procedures relating to premium distribution, claims reporting and insurance documentation. You will also be responsible to develop reinsurance procedures involving the captive.

Who are we looking for?


You have an academic degree and hold a Master of Science in Engineering/Law/Master of Business Administration or similar. To be successful in this position, you need a broad and deep knowledge of non-life insurance including a well-established personal network in the insurance industry.  Experience from working with global insurance programs involving captive arrangements are meriting. You also possess a highly developed ability to work within a large international group. Communication skills are very important as you will have a lot of interaction with the operations as well as the insurance community on a global basis. Therefore, excellent skills in English is required. It is also important that you can lead the digitalization and efficiency work within the insurance processes.

The Role 
Within the propulsion verification team, we are searching for a strong engineer with experience in electric motor drive systems. Together we secure the delivery of the complete propulsion system. This must also be done much faster as compared to traditional automotive projects. To be able to do so we need to be industry-leading in how we verify and work together with several partners. 

We are now strengthening our team with an automation Engineer that can focus on testing and automation updates in our test labs. You will, prepare, and participate in verification activities and play the role as automation system expert. You will work in very close co-operation with software & hardware development teams and join forces with other parts of our verification community. As always, you contribute to continuously develop and improve our ways of working. 

We are searching for people who are passionate for both electromobility and verification. Knowledge within propulsion testing and verification is an important asset in these tasks.  

Who you are
* To succeed in this role, we are looking for: 
* Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechatronics, Physics, Electrical or equivalent with focus on e-machines, inverters, and machine controls

Role Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to focus on quality-driven development and testing needs. 
In this key role, you will be instrumental in driving quality throughout the development process of electric motors. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from advanced engineering and next-generation product development to the maintenance phase of existing production motors.
You will work on the mechanical design of complete electric motors and/or their components, including rotors, stators, housings, shafts, and bearings. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of relevant materials, part designs, assembly methods, and tolerance stack-ups.
You will be part of a supportive team, collaborating closely with team members and our lead engineers to create optimal designs for our electric motors. Additionally, we expect you to support the testing team in defining testing methods and ensuring that test data is utilized as feedback for design improvements. You will collaborate with other design, simulation, and component teams within Electromobility.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The main purpose of this role is to manage the development and the maintenance of the products during their whole product life cycle & to maintain the products roadmap. The Agile Product Owner is globally responsible for a subset of the Entertainment and Connected Services software products, both the product´s functional platform and the software product quality.

The Agile Product Owner should have a strong foot-hold in the software development team as well as with stakeholders and Product Manager for the Entertainment and Connected Services and continuously balance what is on top of the agenda. We believe that you as a person have a broad technical know-how combined with very good people skills and a strong belief in agile methods. You have a strong ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams. Within Connectivity we apply the SAFe framework

You will be working with:
* Building, editing, and maintaining the team backlogs with input from stakeholders such as system architects, work streams, engineers, other POs etc.
* Secure alignment with stakeholders and Product Manager for Entertainment and Connected Services.
* Develop & maintain the products' roadmap and support in developing Entertainment and Connected Services’ strategies and overall roadmap.
* To represent the customer and ensure that the teams deliver value to the business.
* Balance different product’s requirements, such as platform vs business. I.e., ensuring we get the optimum level of QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost & Feature)
* Have a strong foot-hold in the development team as well as with stakeholders and Product Manager for the Entertainment and Connected Services.
* Lead and continuously support in developing the processes, methods and tools that are used by the Entertainment and Connected Services to continuously improve.
* Ensure that the department’s SW solutions, products, and projects area are developed and delivered in an optimal way.


Requirements & qualifications:
* Master of Science in Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent
* Minimum 7 years of automotive experience
* Experience of agile methods, such as SCRUM, and KANBAN.
* Experience of working with HMI & UX is meriting.
* Experience of truck customers and users is meriting.
* Experience from IT development is an asset.
* Experience from SW development in truck or car industry within the area of connected services is highly meriting.

What you will do

You will be part of the Controlling & Product Finance team within Volvo Group Trucks Technology. Additionally, we focus on enhancing financial tools and processes used in our daily operations. We are a global team of approximately 12 controllers located in Gothenburg, Lyon, Greensboro, Curitiba, and Bangalore. Who are you?

We are now looking for a committed and knowledgeable Health and Safety Engineer with special responsibility for electrical safety. In this role, you will be a key player in our work to prevent accidents, ensure regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety. This is a global role based in Lundby at Volvo Technology AB, Gothenburg, with potential travel to regional and international sites. 


Key Responsibilities:

* Responsibility for developing and implementing strategies for electrical safety in our operations in accordance with applicable regulations and standards, such as SS-EN 50110 and the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations. As well as internal Volvo standards for electrical safety in our products. 
* Participate in risk assessments and inspections of work environments to identify and minimize risks related to electrical installations and work mainly related to our prototype vehicles but as well workshop and rig installations. 
* Support technical teams within different GTT functions to ensure safe work procedures.  
* Train and coach employees in electrical safety, for example about the dangers of working under voltage and measures to prevent accidents.  
* Follow up on incidents and accidents related to electrical safety and propose and implement improvement measures.  
* Stay up to date on new laws, regulations and technical innovations in the field of electrical safety. Responsible to support compliance and proactive development within the area of electric technical safety for the GTT sites in Sweden. 



Qualifications and Skills:

We are looking for you with a technical education in electrical engineering, work environment, or a related field who have experience in work environment and safety issues,  with focus on electrical safety. A solid understanding of both Swedish and international safety standards and regulations is essential. Additionally, experience in automotive product development, especially in the area of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), is considered a significant advantage. You should have the ability to identify risks and implement effective measures to mitigate them. Strong communication skills are necessary, along with experience in conducting training courses or workshops. Furthermore, having certification in work environment is beneficial, as is experience in industrial settings or the energy sector.

Profile
As a Data Manager for the Data Catalog and Data Marketplace within our team, you will oversee the concept, architecture, design, and requirements for these platforms, including the development of guidelines and frameworks. Acting as a technical expert and lead, you will contribute to the definition and development of Data Products. Additionally, you will work with the Data Management Tool (DMT) / Informatica IDMC to drive enhancements and implement new capabilities.
This requires knowledge and experience from Data Governance and Data Management, an analytical mindset, excellent structuring skills, as well as communication and stakeholder management skills, and a proactive and pragmatic can-do attitude to be part of and help drive the data transformation.
Responsibilities
Advisory and support to data architect stakeholders and guide them in the best way how to use the Data Catalog and the Data Marketplace.
Gather business needs and translate them into data architecture. Define technical solutions Evaluating and supporting new features and functionalities of DMT (Informatica IDMC) & underlying Azure components through prototyping and tech-watch.
Work closely with Lead Data Architect, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Digital Product Owners, and key users to capture requirements, prioritize backlogs, and coordinate end-to-end delivery of enhancements. Support the implementation of projects on the Data Management Tool (Informatica IDMC) and Volvo Group Azure Data Platform.
Act as a technical expert/ tech lead, contributing to feature development, testing, and coordination. Provide technical guidance to colleagues.
Liaising with vendor product management team together with Data Management Tool Team to support Volvo Group business needs regarding Data Catalog and Data Marketplace.


Hard Competencies:
5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, with expertise in both administrative and hands-on tasks.
Relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a similar field.
Proficiency with Informatica IDMC (or similar Data Governance & Data Management tools), including experience in Data Catalog and Data Marketplace integration.
Advanced knowledge of Azure technologies, such as Databricks Unity Catalog, Azure Database, networking, and security.
Documented experience and a proven track record in implementing Data Governance & Data Management frameworks.
Strong integration architecture skills, with experience in API and microservices deployment.
Familiarity with legal and compliance requirements, including security and regulatory constraints.



Additional Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with a growth mindset, who is passionate about collective learning and continuous improvement. Insights into Data Product development and experience in the automotive industry are advantageous, though not mandatory. Ideally, you have experience working in agile environments, using tools like DevOps or similar. Your ability to understand both business and IT needs, coupled with your proficiency in English, will enable you to effectively participate in international projects.

Who are we looking for? 
With this role we are expanding our team to pave new ground in our ways of working. A key part of the role will be to drive the legal and compliance team’s transformation journey. We want you to secure the implementation of new tools and challenge our current way of working! A portion of your working time will therefore be dedicated to legal operations.

In addition, you will manage legal issues primarily related to digital assets, with a focus on data compliance and open-source software. You would also be involved in supporting our compliance counsel in various compliance matters.

We believe that engagement, personality and genuine interest are more important than seniority. To be successful in this role you need to have a university degree in law and several years of experience (either from a law firm, as an in-house Legal Counsel, or similar). Fluency in English is also essential.

You will be part of the Productivity Services team. We are a very diverse team with different genders, nationalities, and areas of expertise. One of our deliveries is an advanced energy prediction algorithm. It is a simulation-based framework using several inputs such as: map data, vehicle configuration, weather, charging, auxiliaries load, etc. to calculate the energy prediction of an electric truck (and other propulsion systems). This algorithm can then be used in all phases of the product cycle: development, pre-sales, pre-trip, onboard, post trip, after-sales. In addition to this we have other service enablers connected to battery system, chargers and other electromobility domains.
What will you do? 
You will play a pivotal role in our organization by translating customer requirements for our development teams, connecting various teams to align on digital services for electromobility, and supporting and driving the roadmap for digital service enablers. Your responsibilities will include planning, securing resources, and executing specific digital service enablers for electromobility, as well as facilitating communication to translate business needs into implementation across multiple organizations.
Main expectations from this role are to: 
•    Leverage electromobility technology expertise and business development skills to contribute to the strategic roadmap for digital service enablers.
•    Identify opportunities for new digital service enablers within electromobility and support the organization in high-level requirement creation and management.

•    Experience with application development in MATLAB and Simulink or TargetLink

We're looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive change in Electromobility. 
Role Summary: 
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to enhance our analytical and business intelligence capabilities. You’ll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data quality, accessibility, and security, while troubleshooting and improving data systems. Cross-functional collaboration is key to gathering requirements and delivering data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Design and build robust, scalable data pipelines using PySpark to process large datasets. 
•    Utilize Python's Object-oriented programming principles to develop clean, reusable, and modular code for various data operations. 
•    Write complex queries to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks. 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. 
•    Maintain data security and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Role requirements:
•    Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science or related fields. 
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in working within data analytics or relevant areas, in particular as data engineer, preferably within Automative Industry.  
•    Proficient in PySpark, Python (with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming), and . 
•    Experience working with Airflow, github, artifactory etc. 
•    Experience working with open source Bigdata tool stack 
•    Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes. 
•    Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large, complex data sets. 
•    Excellent problem-solving abilities and detail orientation. 
•    Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure), Data bricks and related services is a plus

The role:
We are responsible for having an updated view of the quality status for the products that are being developed, and you are a main contributor by

BMS Supplier SW Integration team a part of BMS Battery Management System (BMS) Section. We are a team of 8 SW integration engineers with complementary skills committed to a common purpose. Our responsibility covers the entire BMS SW life-cycle - from design to verification and maintenance in customer end products.

The BMS Section is responsible to develop the battery management SW and HW for the energy storage systems used in all Volvos’ electric products, such as buses, trucks, construction equipment, and marine applications. What will you do
In our dynamic team you'll play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing our software delivery. Collaborate closely with System Engineers and Function Design Engineers on software requirements and update documentation. Stay on top of software function implementation plans and take ownership of the software integration for supplier software, aligning it seamlessly with Volvo software releases. Get feedback from Battery Pack manufacturing team and keep improving the SW quality.

In addition: 
• Be the direct contact and work closely with BMS SW suppliers. Make sure the SWs are delivered to SW Releases and Vehicle builds according to agreed project plan.
• Ensure timely acquisition of SW delivery documentation from suppliers.
• Initiate product change requests towards suppliers.
• Align the software verification plan with Volvo internal SW testing teams.
• Track and resolve BMS SW product and project issues (PILs), taking responsibility for quality improvement.
• Support BMS SW delivery and integration into Volvo vehicle programs. 
• Initiate and plan BMS SW joined reviews with the support from function design engineers and supplier quality engineers (SQE).

Who are you?
To be successful in this position you need to be self-driven person, a team player with strong collaboration/communication skills. You have the willingness to learn and take more responsibility, can handle many topics in parallel and structure in documentation work. You also need to be open-minded, ready for changes and enjoy with working with suppliers.

Your future team

Our team is working with vehicle verification and validation to secure our products and services meets our customers’ expectations. Tests are mainly performed in Sweden, at the proving ground in Hällered or the surrounding area, but also during shorter or longer expeditions in Sweden or around Europe.

You will be part of the performance validation test team focusing on complete vehicle function verification and validation tests. The testing is not limited only to functions in the vehicle but also includes functions and services of back-office systems, and all aspects of vehicle functions related to conventional, electromobility and hydrogen technology.

What you will do

As a test engineer, you will plan the test assignments according to scope and schedule, while your test assignments can vary week by week, everything from very hands ‘on product close work to reporting. You ensure that the test object is ready for the test and that the scope of the test is understood to meet the desired quality and results. You’ll perform verification and validation of complete trucks on test tracks and on public roads, as well as upgrading of test objects and troubleshooting if so required. You will report the status and results of tests, create reports to summarize the tests performed, and present the results to stakeholders. You will work in close collaboration with drivers, mechanics, engineers, and project management.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechatronics, electronics, or another relevant field.

You have several years of experience in the automotive industry with a strong track record in verification and validation of vehicle functions. You are experienced in performing automotive software upgrades, creating reports, summarizing test results, and presenting findings to stakeholders. A solid understanding of verification and validation methods, related tools, and the software development process is essential.

We value strong product knowledge and a genuine interest in complete vehicles, new technology, and customer needs. You are analytical, problem-solving, and have good IT skills. You can build networks and collaborate effectively with engineering teams and project managers.

You are a true team player—someone the team can rely on. You are goal-oriented, positive, and confident yet humble. Additionally, you have strong verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English and can adapt to changes and challenges.

The position is based in Hällered and requires frequent travel. A CE driver’s license is required.

Who are you?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead and oversee the governance of chemical management for Volvo Group. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, mitigating risks, and driving sustainability in the organization’s chemical use and handling processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in building governance, setting up ways of working and cross-functional collaboration to support the organization’s commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

Your mission

-    You will build and lead Volvo Group Governance forum for Chemical management and settle an efficient way of working cross Volvo Group TD/BAs for management of chemicals. 
-    This includes to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive global chemical management governance framework. That ensure alignment with international chemical regulations and industry standards. You will be involved in the development of corporate-wide policy documents.
-    You will ensure regulatory Compliance by develop strategies to address evolving regulatory requirements and minimize compliance risks and promote innovation in chemical handling and management practices to enhance safety, efficiency and sustainability.
-    You will be lead risk management by managing the implementation of systems and tools to track, report, and manage chemical usage and associated risks. You will foster a culture of awareness and proactive chemical management across the Volvo Group TD/BAs.
-    We hope you enjoy establishing relationships and building trust, as you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and connect cross-functional teams in the chemical governance work. We are seeking for you with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar. Your experience in governance and global chemical management will be invaluable as you navigate the complexities of governance. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of international chemical regulations and standards, including REACH, CLP, TSCA, and GHS. Your strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills will empower you to tackle challenges and drive innovative solutions. The framework consists of both digital online trainings and instructor lead trainings. You will delegate and follow-up in a digital training path environment. You will also hold live trainings in front of trainers or “key technicians” from our Importers on a train the trainer concept in one of the Volvo Penta training centers or at business partners premises. The main training center for Importer Business unit is in cooperation with the Volvo Group Middle East training premises in Dubai. In 2024 we delivered 8 weeks of instructor lead trainings in Dubai to more than 100 attendees.

We are looking for a regulation specialist who feels comfortable interacting with external stakeholders, to influence and monitor regulation development around the 'weights and dimensions directive' in EU, who can support the regulation update of the dangerous goods requirements and who can engage in the vehicle safety regulations evolutions.

You will work with regulatory agencies in EU (mainly EU Commission) or in UN (WP29 and subgroups in the United Nations) to influence the regulation development in this area in the best favorable manner for suiting Volvo’s positions. To do so, you will lead internal activities to prepare and anchor our lobbying strategies, you will act as a Volvo representative on Manufacturers Associations, you will work with our competitors to build consensus positions, in respect of the Competition Law Compliance (CLC) and you will secure our lobbying position is well reflected in the industry position.

Within the Volvo Energy Sales and Services team, we hold the responsibility to commercialize the Volvo Branded Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) offering, both to existing customers and new customer groups. Our Battery Energy Storage Systems will support e-mobility and charging, provide temporary power supply as well as optimize commercial and industrial sites?when it comes to decarbonizing and lowering energy costs 

In this role you will be given a unique opportunity to shape and drive the early development of this new business for Volvo Group, together with the leadership team and a set of skilled and committed colleagues. We will work on solutions that will drive economically viable circularity and take us to a sustainable future.? 

As a Sales Engineering Manager BESS, you will be critical to the success of our sales efforts by providing expertise in BESS solutions engineering and related digital tools.  

You work with passion and entrepreneurial drive with the ability to prioritize and execute various parallel tasks. You will cooperate closely with other Volvo Group colleagues, tool suppliers and other relevant stakeholders driving effective interactions in a highly collaborative work environment.

You enjoy hands-on interactions on site collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, utilizing your BESS knowledge and skills to deliver solutions for Volvo Group and customers.  

You are skilled when it comes to customer focus and understanding customers' energy consumption. Combining your experience from working on site with using excel or other energy management software, you strive to find the best solution possible in every customer interaction. 

Your starting point will be: 
* Support Sales/project manager in qualified customer projects. 
* Translate customer requirements into optimized technical energy storage solution proposals. 
* Provide sales team with technical support on solutions engineering and site engineering. 
* Assess and manage deviations from standards or local regulations. 
* Work with Sales to negotiate the technical aspects of contract negotiations. 
* Support in identifying and evaluating proposals from installation contractors to support overall system integration and turnkey solution delivery.  
* Capture customer technical and application requirements to shape product roadmaps.

Qualifications likely required to be successful? 
* Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or similar technical discipline 
* Relevant professional work experience in the BESS/renewable energy/power industry 
* Customer experience working in energy storage, solar or other power generation. 
* Offer management or technical contract review experience. 
* Experience from sales tools and/or simulations tools in energy industry. 
* Knowledge of the electricity market design, actors, rules and revenue potential 
* Strong co-ordination and communication skills??? 
* Ability to solve complex technical problems and effectively communicate results

Based either in Gothenburg or Lyon, you will shape the future trends of brakes products.

•    Contribute to the segment strategy for a more resilient and sustainable purchasing of your products.
•    Optimize the overall performance of your products in terms of quality, delivery, cost, features, technological innovation, sustainability and risk management (QDCFTSR)
•    Animate a network of global stakeholders and travel abroad upon needs
•    Stimulate the business knowledge within the team (Facilitate best practices sharing, cost breakdowns, cost drivers, spend analysis, etc.)
•    Actively contribute to the team development, by bringing improvement ideas, support your peers, coaching buyers when relevant
