Som HR-praktikant kommer du få möjligheten att ingå i ett härligt HR-team som drivs av gemenskap, lärande och utveckling. HR-avdelningen består av en HR-chef som arbetar mot den Globala Funktionen, en Nordisk HR-partner som arbetar mot Sverige, Norge, Danmark och två HR-Specialister som arbetar även mot samtliga länder. Relevant högskoleutbildning såsom högskole-/civilingenjör inom data, telekom, elektronik men relevant praktisk erfarenhet värderas också högt. Ascom is now looking for a highly motivated and experienced Global Product Manager to lead product management and upstream marketing activities for selected products in our Global Portfolio. The Global Product Manager will be responsible for optimizing our product/solutions throughout their entire life cycle, from market analysis and roadmap planning to market launch, sustainment, and phase out of products.

The primary focus of this role will be on our handsets in the IP-DECT, VoWifi, and Paging portfolio, as well as the associated accessories. You belong to a team with colleagues on multiple locations and report to the Head of Global Portfolio & Product Management based in Gothenburg.

Performance: Meet product performance targets provided by sales organizations (Regions, OEMs, Partners, etc.

Modernization: Drive modernization of the mobility portfolio through evolution paths for existing customers, identification of new customers and opportunities, and exploration of new areas for interoperability. Develop and execute long-term strategy and mid/short-term plans to support global portfolio competitiveness.

Product Management: Consolidate a diverse portfolio and establish and maintain market knowledge within the team. Collect and analyze input from regional product management, solution team members, OEM partners, end-user customers, and Senior Leadership team. Drive, define, and maintain the product roadmap for the defined product portfolio based on market requirements.

Product Development: Support key customer opportunities throughout the product life cycle. Responsible for creation of Requirement Specifications and Business justifications for new products. Develop marketing requirements that reflect the way the end user will be interacting with and using the solution. Manage commercialization and launch activities for new product introductions. Coordinate and work closely with other Product Managers to create overall solutions supporting a “One Ascom” approach towards the market.

Product Maintenance: Manage the product life cycle and support the maintenance requirements for products within their defined product area. Determine the content and priorities of the product backlog. Maintain a thorough understanding of the market, competitive environment, and technological developments relevant to the defined product portfolio. Set recommended end user prices for the product portfolio based on competitive and market data.

Communication: Build and establish strong method of communications with all stakeholders. Align product roadmap with segment manager to ensure a cohesive product offering.

Your background:

- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Marketing, Technology, Business Management, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product marketing, product management, and/or portfolio management

- Solid technical understanding of Ascom’s and industry-relevant product and solutions (e.g. healthcare IT, mobile communications, software)

- Strong experience in marketing activities for complex business-to-business products and applications; and in creating sales tools to support regional sales, partners, and OEM channels.

- Excellent overall knowledge and understanding of the segment/use cases the specific product is targeting. (e.g., mobility solutions in; clinical workflows, OEM business or Enterprise segment)

We need to strengthen our R&D department in Göteborg with a Software Engineer for embedded software development in C++ for wireless feature phones and base stations. - Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration

Your background

- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent working experience
- +10 years applicable experience in support and delivery organization; management experience required
- Proven track record of collaborating across teams and geographies in an international environment
- Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
- Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
- Proven ability to develop innovative tools, processes, and methods for increased productivity

Relevant högskoleutbildning såsom högskole-/civilingenjör inom data, telekom, elektronik men relevant praktisk erfarenhet värderas också högt. Are you someone who enjoys providing expert support in different regions across the globe to customers and new potential market partners? Then perhaps you are the one we have been looking for.

As a 3rd Level Support Engineer you will be the expert on Ascom's systems and solutions. Your daily work will include providing support for all Ascom regions and growth market partners as well as providing technical trainings for the 2nd line 1st Line support staff. As part of a global team international travel will sometimes be required.

- Provide 3rd level support for Ascom Regions, growth market partners and OEM

- Assist, when required, in complex project deliveries/go-live as the system expert

- Provide trainings for Ascom 1st and 2nd line support staff

Qualifications

- Relevant engineering degree (Computer, Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent training is preferred)

- Strong IP-knowledge

- Experience in Remote Infrastructure Support in Windows, VMware, AWS , SCCM and Citrix technologies.

- Experience of trouble shooting in mission critical systems

- CCNA, CCNP or CompTIA certified or equivalent.

- Fluent in English, additional languages is a merit

Are you a software test engineer, with 2-3 years of experience, and have a true interest in quality assurance and test automation of embedded software?

At R&D, Mobility department, System Test section, you will work with Ascom developed Android Smartphones, telephony for WiFi and base stations for DECT technology.

We have a strategic objective to increase the automation of the test process and further develop our Continuous Integration environment.

In our team you will be highly appreciated for your test automation skills and will have a great opportunity to grow in your role.

Responsibilities

- Based on requirements, design and implement automatic test cases. Either in Phyton or Java/Kotlin.

- Run Tests, do an analysis if test fails. Troubleshoot.

- Install and configure test systems in our lab.

- Participate in reviews of requirements and test cases.

- Collaborate with colleagues and partners in Ascom’s global organization.

Qualifications

- Degree of Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Physics, Electrical, IT or Computer science.
