Uppgifter:

- Facilitering, förberedelse, konfigurering och utrullning av och mellan Ascoms applikationer och kundernas servrar i projekt där Microsoft-plattformen med Asp.Net och MS används. Det kan även vara felsökning, förslag på korrigeringar, skrivspecifikationer m.m.

- Kommunikation med utvecklare, tekniker, kunder på , svenska,norska, danska och engelska.

- Felsökning genom loggar och verktyg.

- Utbildning av kunder och kollegor i Ascoms lösningar.

- Utarbetande av teknisk dokumentation.





Kompetens/personliga egenskaper:

- Du har en kandidatexamen i IT, såsom Tillämpad data, IT och informationssystem, etc. eller motsvarande kompetens inom telekommunikation, data eller elektronik.

- Du måste ha ett genuint tekniskt intresse, förståelse och vilja att lära dig mer.

- Du ska kunna skriva och kommunicera väl och flytande på svenska och engelska.

- Du ska trivas med att arbeta projektorienterat i team.

- Du ska vara serviceinriktad och kundorienterad och tycka om att prata med människor.

- Du bör vara bekant med felsökning av applikationer/tjänster som körs på MS-servrar och helst IIS (webserver).

- Du bör förstå och läsa kod och ha ett intresse för Javascript och HTML.

- Gärna kunna enkelt skripta i databas, gärna MS .

- Gärna bekant med Wireshark eller liknande verktyg i LAN och WLAN

- Erfarenhet av medicinsk utrustning är meriterande

Hur ser en vanlig dag ut?

- Tidigt vara med i processen för att identifiera hur testfallen bör utföras.
- Baserat på krav, designa och implementera manuella och automatiska testfall i Python.
- Leda mindre testprojekt
- Samarbeta med andra testare för att avgöra hur testautomationen bäst utförs
- Samarbeta med utvecklare och andra team inom Global R&D
- Installera och konfigurera testsystem.
- Delta i granskning och skriva nya testfall.
- Exekvera manuell testfall, göra en analys om testfallet fallerar. Felsöka.

Kvalifikationer

At R&D, Mobility department, Integration and verification section, you will work with Ascom developed wireless communication, such as telephony and base stations.

Responsibilities

- Based on requirements, design and implement manual and automatic test cases using Python.

- Run Tests, do an analysis if test fails. Troubleshoot.

- Install and configure test systems in our lab.

- Participate in reviews of requirements and test cases.

- Collaborate with colleagues and partners in Ascom’s global organization.

Qualifications

- Degree of Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Physics, Electrical, IT or Computer science.

Your background:

We need to strengthen our R&D department in Göteborg with a Software Engineer for embedded software development in C++ for wireless feature phones and base stations. The feature phones and base station products are part of a larger system offering used within health care for real time communication and collaboration including emergency alarm handling. Come and join our great team in Gothenburg responsible for the Global Service & Operations at Ascom. As the Product Manager for repair services you will be the business owner of Ascom’s RMA process and repair service, where customers send their faulty hardware to Ascom to be swapped for new units or repaired and shipped back to the customer.

This is a multi-faceted role that includes collaboration with many internal and external stakeholders, the supply team, quality assurance, ICT, local sales companies, our repair partners and others.

We look for…

- A minimum experience of 2 years in HR administration including in at least one Nordic country (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden)
- Good understanding of of local employment laws and regulations in at least one of the Nordic countries
- Preferably experience from Payroll
- Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbal and written

We now have a great opportunity for you to join our R&D, Mobility, System Test Section. In our team you will be highly appreciated for your skills, motivation, and ideas! We have our colleagues spread over our four sites located in Sweden, Netherlands, Florida and North Carolina, USA. This position is to our Swedish site with placement in Gothenburg.

Are you a software test engineer, with 2-3 years of experience, and have a true interest in quality assurance and test automation of embedded software?

At R&D, Mobility department, System Test section, you will work with Ascom developed Android Smartphones, telephony for WiFi and base stations for DECT technology.

We have a strategic objective to increase the automation of the test process and further develop our Continuous Integration environment.

In our team you will be highly appreciated for your test automation skills and will have a great opportunity to grow in your role.

Responsibilities

- Based on requirements, design and implement automatic test cases. Either in Phyton or Java/Kotlin.

- Run Tests, do an analysis if test fails. Troubleshoot.

- Install and configure test systems in our lab.

- Participate in reviews of requirements and test cases.

- Collaborate with colleagues and partners in Ascom’s global organization.

Qualifications

- Degree of Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Physics, Electrical, IT or Computer science.

- You have a 2-3 years of experience in Software Testing.

- Fluent in Swedish and English, speech and writing.

- Valuable experience of programming used within the test area like Java and Python.

Meritorious

- Working experience in test automation Selenium, Python or similar

- Working experience in software testing with focus on automation.

- Working experience of Continuous Integration.

- Experience of working with Jenkins

- Working experience in agile test methods
