We are looking for a Senior SOC Architect
We are seeking a highly experienced SOC Architect to guide and grow our Security Operations Center capabilities. In this role, you’ll design and optimize SOC processes, share expertise with a skilled and motivated team, and support detection and response across cloud and automotive environments.
You’ll play a central part in shaping WirelessCar’s security strategy and ensuring our SOC capabilities are robust and future-ready, all within a high-trust, high-integrity environment.
You will:
Design and optimize SOC processes, detection use cases, and automation.
Manage SIEM and SOAR platforms to ensure effective log ingestion and incident response.
Strengthen cloud security across AWS and Azure in collaboration with DevOps and engineering teams.
Apply automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155) to SOC operations.
Translate regulatory and customer requirements into actionable detection strategies.
Support the SOC team during security incidents.

About the Security team at WirelessCar
You’ll be part of WirelessCar’s Central Security function, working closely with two tightly knit teams—DART and Governance. DART manages security monitoring and incident response in a 24/7 Tier 1–3 setup, while GRC leads company-wide efforts in strategy, risk, compliance, and awareness. Both teams are highly collaborative, with a strong culture of support, shared leadership, and continuous learning. With a mix of junior and senior colleagues, knowledge sharing and mentorship are part of everyday work.
Wednesdays are spent together in the office to strengthen team connection, while other days offer remote flexibility. We value open-minded, curious individuals who thrive in a team-driven environment and enjoy growing together with others.
We offer you
High-tech company that offers an exciting working environment
Involvement with Electric Vehicle services and products that drive sustainability.
Tech fund where you pick your choice of tech tools.
Flat organizational culture founded on trust and autonomy; at WirelessCar, you are not just a number.
Work-life balance and free access to the gym at the Gothenburg office.
Flexible working hours and a hybrid workplace.

We believe that you bring
In this role, we’re looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and integrity. You’re not only skilled in building and optimizing SOC capabilities — you’re also a trusted and supportive colleague, with a strategic mindset and a collaborative way of working.
You bring a holistic mindset, capable of seeing the big picture across SOC operations, cloud infrastructure, and automotive security. Your communication skills allow you to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You work effectively across DevOps, engineering, compliance, and product teams, and you lead with high integrity and accountability, especially in safety-critical domains.
Your technical strengths include:
Extensive experience in SOC operations, incident response, and security architecture.
Strong hands-on expertise with SIEM and SOAR platforms.
Experience securing cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
Practical experience with ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155.
Fluent in English, spoken and written.

Bonus qualifications that would be great to have:
Automotive or IoT/connected vehicle cybersecurity background.
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, AWS/Azure Security).
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK;, threat modelling, and red team operations.
Experience contributing to Vehicle SOC (VSOC) use cases or implementations.
You have a naturally curious and adaptable mindset — staying ahead of emerging threats, exploring new technologies, and remaining composed and effective even in high-pressure situations.
