About the role:
As a Software Test Engineer at Conmore, we give you the opportunity to work broadly within product development, mainly towards the automotive industry. We match you with assignments with our customers that interest you. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be part of an agile development team. You will work with both test automation but also with ensuring the software. Identify, document and report errors in the software to optimize the development process

The role

As part of this role, you will be responsible for driving investigations into new technologies. You will play a key role in developing the technical requirements of hardware components, ensuring they meet the necessary specifications and standards. It will be your responsibility to handle and investigate returned components from the field, identifying any issues and taking appropriate actions. You will actively participate in improving the hardware test methodology, contributing to the enhancement of testing procedures and practices.

I joined Conmore after my degree as mechanical engineer, now more than twelve years ago. I got the possibility to work as a consultant with product development in the automotive industry before starting as manager. Hej jag heter Karin, är du min nya kollega?

Efter att jag studerat elektronik och datavetenskap började jag som konsult på Volvo Cars. Jag arbetade i olika roller med Vehicle Dynamics i tio år och lämnade sedan Volvo och började på CEVT när företaget startade 2013. Jag fortsatte mitt arbete inom Chassis, Vehicle Dynamics och ADAS-system, i olika roller, där allt var relaterat till funktioner, mjukvara och verifiering. 2020 började jag på Tata Technologies, min första roll utanför OEM-världen, inom tjänsteleverantörsområdet. Jag arbetade som COE för Europe Embedded Solutions i två år. Jag var involverad i många projekt både inom och utanför Sverige.

Min resa på Conmore som konsultschef för elektronik och mjukvaruutvecklings området startade 2022. It will be some administrative tasks and coordination of the recruitment processes. It will be a TEAM WORK to find and attract the best and most talented engineers.

In your role / About you

In your role it is required that you have personal qualities such as drive and commitment. The customer expects that you have the ability to search for the information needed to solve the task yourself. The position presupposes many cross-functional contacts which is why it is important to be able to take your own initiatives to build a network and create good relationships.

We believe you match several of the following: / we want you to match most of the following:

• At least 5+ years experience of design in Catia V5 and / or CREO
• University engineer or relevant KY education
• Previously constructed in plastic and / or sheet metal
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Good general knowledge of manufacturing methods and material properties
• Self-propelled and easy to get acquainted with new tasks
• Can speak Swedish and English both orally and in writing
• B driving license
