Vad du kommer att göra

Du kommer att vara en del av vår ’Facility & EPC’ (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) organisation. Vårt uppdrag är att projektera och bygga en toppmodern och effektiv Gigafabrik som kommer möjliggöra Volvo Cars transformation till en elbilstillverkare.

Som installationsledare (Design Construction Interface Manager - MEP & Process Utilities) kommer du arbeta i en ledande position inom installationsprojekteringen av batterifabriken. Du kommer ingå i ett team som ansvarar för utförande av alla installationer i en specifik sektor av fabriken och rapportera till teamets blockchef (Sr. Construction Manager).

Du kommer att agera som främsta kontaktperson mellan vår byggande och projekterande organisation. Ditt främsta ansvarsområde kommer vara integrering och uppföljning av projekteringstidplan. Detta innefattar tätt samarbete för att säkerhetsställa byggbarhet, kostnadseffektivitet och kvalité på tekniska lösningar. Vidare kommer du arbeta tätt med ’Sr. Constuction Manager’ och ’Construction Manager’ i ditt team för planera, samordna och genomföra entreprenader. Arbetsspråk kommer vara engelska.

Exempel på ansvarsområden och arbetsuppgifter:

- Integrering av projekteringstidplan mot inköp och entreprenadpaket
- Följa upp projekteringstidplan och ha en tät dialog med byggproduktion
- Granskning av tekniska detaljer och system tillsammans med våra ingenjörsteam
- Vid behov stötta med projekteringssamordning
- Samordna insamling av tekniska krav från alla tekniska intressenter och se till att projektörerna får all nödvändig information i rätt tid.
- Stötta arbete med driftsättning samt dokumentation inför slutbesiktning
- Proaktivt arbeta med projektstyrning och ÄTA-arbete
- Säkerställa snabba svar på frågor och förfrågningar från entreprenörer
- Vara en ambassadör för NOVO:s projektkultur och leda genom exempel

Din bakgrund:

Du har en bevisad erfarenhet av att leda olika team från olika branscher, bakgrunder och kulturer. Du leder med exempel för att skapa en samarbetsvänlig miljö tar fram det bästa ur projektmedlemmarna. Du är en utmärkt kommunikatör och delger tydligt fokus och prioriteringar till projekteringsgruppen. Samtidigt är du flexibel i att ändra fokus och anpassa planen efter ändringar och nya förutsättningar

Tjänsten kräver att du har en stark teknisk bakgrund, antingen inom en särskild disciplin eller som generalist. Vi ser helst att du erfarenhet av liknande stora industriprojekt. Dessutom har du en bakgrund inom eller i nära samarbete med byggentreprenörer inom storskaliga projekt. Du har en mycket god förståelse för byggprocessen. Du har en bra förståelse för komplexiteten i projektet och är välorganiserad för att hantera parallella arbetsuppgifter.

Nödvändiga kvalifikationer:

- Högskoleexamen inom relevant område
- Minst 5 års yrkeserfarenhet i jämförbar roll
- Erfarenhet av storskaliga byggprojekt med betydande komplexitet, erfarenhet som totalentreprenör är en fördel
- Utmärkta färdigheter i skriftlig och talad engelska. Du måste ha förmågan att diskutera tekniska ämnen med olika målgrupper - entreprenörer, ingenjörer och medlemmar från olika avdelningar inom organisationen.

Your responsibilities will include:

Development of our technology roadmap, design and document our processes and applications, drive user adoption. You will:

- Define, cross-functionally align and implement Supply Chain processes, systems, tools, and related governance,
- Act as Product Owner for Supply Chain systems and/or modules and drive the implementation togehter with IT, external partners, and users.
- Secure business requirements input for Supply Chain systems and/or modules

What You Will Do
The overall purpose in this role is to ensure integration and operation of process and machinery equipment within battery manufacturing facilities. In this role you will have a large ownership of developing guidelines for standards whilst being part in setting the ways of work. To succeed you will need to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers. You will work in close collaboration with our experts in both Engineering team, and our Facility & EPC team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Design, review and verify electrical systems, control cabinets and safety circuits for process and machinery equipment, supplied by various international suppliers.
- Designing electrical interfaces, ensuring compatibility between equipment and facility, improving automation and control systems, and implementing energy-saving measures.
- Maintain equipment electrical documentation, including schematics, drawings, specifications, installation and commissioning procedures and maintenance manuals.
- Identify and mitigate electrical hazards, implement safety features, and provide guidance on safe operation and maintenance practices.
- Contribute to safe operations and participate in knowledge transfer workshops and internal education within NOVO Energy.

Your Background
To be successful in this role you have previous working experience within Industrial Automation in process-driven industries such as: mining, paper mill, semiconductors, fine chemicals, automotive, pharma, food or similar. You have good experience in writing technical documentations such as electrical safety requirement specifications, instructions, diagrams.

As a person you are self-going, solution oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. You have the ability to work well with others in a multi-cultural team environment, as well as independently. Furthermore, we see that you have an eye for details with high sense of quality. We believe that you have:

- BSc or MSc in electrical engineering or equivalent

What you will do
In this role you will be part of our Engineering team, working as a Chemical Engineer specializing in the Electrode & Process Utilities area. You will collaborate with suppliers and be part of a cross-functional NOVO team to deliver the detailed design of cutting-edge equipment and bring it up to speed. This position will allow you to gain a deep understanding of a cutting-edge battery cell manufacturing equipment design and experience the hands-on elements of commissioning and ramp-up.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Conduct thorough design reviews of P&IDs;, Process Flow Diagrams, HAZOPs and FMEAs to ensure the safety and efficiency of the manufacturing processes.
- Develop mass and energy balances for the processes and check or size equipment.
- Collaborate with the cell design team to integrate and industrialize electrode and utilities processes effectively into the battery cell manufacturing system.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electrode materials to meet production requirements while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure the efficient and sustainable use of energy resources within the manufacturing environment.

As we get closer to the commissioning and ramp-up of the factory you will also work with:

- Machine Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of machinery and equipment during the commissioning and ramp-up phases.
- Operation of Machinery: Oversee the operation of machinery and manufacturing processes during the commissioning and ramp-up phases, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis techniques to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements during the commissioning and ramp-up phases.

What you will do:

As a Treasury Lead you will be a driving force in establishing and optimizing the financial infrastructure of the organization. You will play a vital role in in creating and executing treasury policies, optimizing debt structures, and implementing effective hedging strategies. In this role you will report to the Finance Director.

Key responsibilities include:

- Treasury Function Development:

Policy Development: Continued development of treasury policies.

Infrastructure Setup: Take a hands-on approach to establish and optimize treasury infrastructure, including implementing treasury management systems and reporting tools.

- Hands-On Debt Management, Hedging, and Bank Relations:

Debt management: Take part in closing our future debt and help manage future draw downs and ensure we do not breach any covenants.

Hedging Strategy Implementation: Design and execute effective hedging strategies to mitigate exposure to currency, interest rate, and commodity risks.

- Cash Flow Forecasting and Budgeting:

Forecasting Precision: Collaborate closely with the whole organisation to develop accurate cash flow forecasts.

- Risk Mitigation, Compliance, and Hedging Oversight:

Proactive Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks associated with debt structures and hedging activities, employing a hands-on approach to ensure optimal risk management.

Compliance Oversight: Lead compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to debt covenants, regulatory requirements, and reporting obligations.

- Bank Relationship Management:

Relationship Cultivation: Build and nurture positive relationships with banks, actively engaging in day-to-day interactions and build strategic partnerships.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

What You Will Do
You will lead a team of Electrical Engineers responsible of managing consultants that will develop the Low Voltage and IT design drawings to operate our facility. Your team will implement the schedule requirements, and budget for the execution of these responsibilities. And you will be responsible of tracking these deliverables and maintaining the executive team informed.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Developing the structure, processes and expectation for the Electrical Design team in charge of the low voltage and IT infrastructure deliverables.

Preparation or reviewing of electrical equipment load schedules, to size and design the electrical equipment.

Gathering the electrical design requirements from the different disciplines.

Coordinating between electrical design and other discipline designs including the review and approval of associated layout and electrical drawings.

Your Background

Bachelors or Master’s in Electrical engineering.

Minimum of 8 years experience in electrical design/engineering for heavy industrial, manufacturing or process facilities such as pharmaceutical, data centers, oil & gas, automotive, food & beverage manufacturing, etc.

Experience with design, installation and/or commissioning in the field of LV and/or IT network and associated control and protection system.

-
Experience in leading design work from concept stage to issue for construction drawings.

Good theoretical basis for electrical calculations (sizing of cables, transformers, PFC, motor starting, load studies, load flows, short circuit calculations, harmonic studies and earth grid designs).

Fluency in English. Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages, including Swedish

About the role

In this position you will play key project-integrator role in our multidisciplinary Facility Engineering Organization in building the new Gigafactory. As Electrical Engineer you will pro-actively support and assist the Power System Engineering lead along the way and contribute to successful delivery of the assigned Infrastructure electrical design package.

The role will be within the Electrical Design – Infrastructure department, whose responsibility is to design the electrical system around the battery manufacturing facility, with the voltage level ranging from 145kV to 400V. It includes HV substation, the entire electrical distribution network (MV/LV), fire and security system for all auxiliary buildings, carparks, MV network of the whole site, potential renewable generation infrastructure and BESS system, etc . As Electrical Engineer you will closely support the discipline lead in all technical and project management activities. The role will be heavily involved in design phase and support in procurement, installation, commissioning, energization, operation, and service. There will be several openings for this position.

Key responsibilities:

Participate in tender negotiation. Lead in technical discussion.

Review and approve the design of electrical equipment such as HV transformer, MVS.

Participate, review and approve the electrical system design.

Liaise internally across disciplines (e.g., Mechanical, Architectural, Structural, Construction), externally with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and public authorities.

Manage the design consultants, ensuring no gaps exist at the interface points, from a practicality and feasibility standpoint.

Support in creating discipline process, defining scope of work for new contract.

Promote a positive and constructive working relationship with the design consultants on behalf of NOVO.

Become a binder of the EPCM team, supporting on developing the organization accordingly to Company mission and supporting hand in hand team members.


Your Background

To succeed in this role, you have broad knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering, specifically in power distribution area, across HV, MV and LV. You are comfortable in making technical decision, reviewing technical reports and drawings, “gatekeeping” the integrity of the design. We believe that you are used to an environment with uncertainties and have been exposed to multi-national working environment.

- Experienced as Electrical Engineer, in MV/LV power distribution and/or HV power system area.
- Knowledgeable in electrical equipment, control and protection.
- Experience in fire system, Life Security System is a plus.
- Technical expertise is primarily required. Project management experience is a plus.
- Experienced in multi-disciplinary and multi-national environment.

Experience in electrical installation is a plus.

Working language is English. Swedish is a plus.

Experience from Swedish construction sites is preferred.

What you will do

In your role as Design Construction Interface Manager (DCIM) - MEP & Process Utilities you will be part of the Facility & EPC organization. Our mission is to build “a first in class” Gigafactory that will transform Volvo Cars into a full EV (Electrical Vehicle) manufacturer.

As DCIM you will lead the design effort of certain sections and projects of the complete gigafactory scope, from early design throughout execution. You will be a core member of our Core & Shell and architectural fit out team and report to the Senior Construction Manager of the team.

You will work very closely with the structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams. About the role

In this position you will have a key action – driven role in our multidisciplinary Construction Organization in building the new Gigafactory. - Lead the effort of managing field installation by providing all the necessary requirements for contractors to keep a productive work environment. We are looking for a dedicated and driven Industrialization Project Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. With your long term role based in Gothenburg you will be a key player in establishing large scale battery factories and successfully launching customer projects. The task is to drive the industrialization of customer projects from initiation to start of production. You will coordinate several enabler functions as part of your core team and closely cooperate with the overall project team to enable a successful launch and ramp-up and a systematic handover to the production plant.

The diverse and highly motivated team of industrialization project managers closely work with all relevant functions to ensure successful industrialization of our products from project initiation to closing.

About the role

What you will do

In your role as Logistics Manager you will be part of the Supply Chain organization of NOVO Energy. What you will do

In your role as Design Construction Interface Manager (DCIM) - MEP & Process Utilities you will be part of the Facility & EPC organization. Our mission is to build “a first in class” Gigafactory that will transform Volvo Cars into a full EV (Electrical Vehicle) manufacturer.

As DCIM you will lead the design effort of certain sections and projects of the complete gigafactory scope, from early design throughout execution. You will be a core member of our Core & Shell and architectural fit out team and report to the Senior Construction Manager of the team.

Engineering program for Process, Maintenance and Quality Engineers

If you're an Engineer looking for a new challenge, our development program caters to Engineers at various levels of experience across Process and Production, Maintenance and Quality. In these roles, you'll become part of existing Northvolt teams in Skellefteå, apply your full range of skills and learn new ones through a mix of structured training and on-the-job learning under the leadership of experts.

Process and Production Engineers:
In this role, you'll be working with suppliers and cross-functional teams across the organizations. Responsible for equipment design after purchase order through FAT, all the way to commissioning and handover to manufacturing. Here you'll also play an important role as the point of liaison, capturing the lessons-learned and translating these into improved designs for the future. This role will allow you to use your existing skills, understand current equipment and processes and utilize this to pave the way for future upgrades, contributing to development of cutting-edge cell manufacturing equipment.

Maintenance Engineers:
As a Maintenance engineer you will be a part of establishing maintenance routines and learn from equipment suppliers as well as the commissioning teams to become an expert within the factory. Your role will include the execution of preventative maintenance in collaboration with operators as well as being reactive to perform corrective maintenance when needed. This role is for you who always loved taking things apart, who aren't afraid to work with your hands and to problem solve, always working towards the root cause and solving the problem.

Quality Engineers:
A quality engineer at Northvolt is responsible for ensuring quality of our new product. You will work very closely with production Engineering to follow-up and improve processes to ensure a flawless transition into manufacturing and supplying our Li-Ion cells. In a nutshell, you will be implementing quality standards, procedures, quality control plans, and quality management principles while working with cutting-edge technology amongst an ambitious and supportive team.

Operators Program - your chance to grow

Our Operators program is the perfect place to start your career in battery manufacturing. Here you'll learn the ropes from specialists and experienced staff whilst gaining invaluable exposure to the processes, materials, and equipment. As an Operator, you work at the heart of the production – where our battery cells are made. Key duties involve control and monitoring of the machines, replenishing material and contributing to continuous improvements on the line.

Technicians - Maintenance and Quality

If you're a skilled Technician looking to expand your career in advanced manufacturing our Technicians program might be your ticket. Maintenance Technicians:
As a technician with Northvolt, you'll play an important role in supporting the manufacturing teams on the shopfloor. Working on a shift basis, you'll be responsible for ensuring that machinery and production equipment are kept in good condition, and receive the service needed to prevent downtime.

Quality Technicians:
In battery production, quality control is critical to ensure the safety and performance of our high-performance cells. Chemical analysis of sample materials, visual inspection of cells and dialogue with production teams are all common activities. What you will do.

In your role as Design Construction Interface Manager (DCIM) – Infrastructure you will be part of the Facility & EPC organization. Our mission is to build “a first in class” Gigafactory that will transform Volvo Cars into a full EV (Electrical Vehicle) manufacturer.

As DCIM you will lead the design effort of certain sections and projects of the complete gigafactory scope, from early design throughout execution. You will be a core member of our site infrastructure team and report to a Senior Construction Manager leading the block organization.

You will be leading, integrating, and coordinating cross disciplinary teams of contractors, design consultant and our in-house engineering team. As DCIM you will have full ownership and responsibility for an integrated design schedule, driving the coordination between construction, procurement, and engineering within the ECPM team. You will also be the main point of contact for integration with Process Engineering, facility requirements and external stakeholders.

- Multidisciplinary design of auxiliary buildings
- Ground works design
- Traffic and site logistics
- Underground utilities
- Storm water
- Hydrogeology

- Masterplan integration and development

What you will do in your role:


- Lead a cross disciplinary design team developing and delivering the Gigafactory design
- Create an integrated design schedule and drive coordination within the EPCM organization
- Coordinate information collection of all technical user requirements and ensure the design consultants are provided with all needed inputs in a timely manner.
- Manage design consultants and contractors, coordinating delivery of construction engineering packages. Ensure the delivery meets high technical standards and is delivered on-time.
- Set-up and lead review sessions
- Support and manage permit and handover processes
- Track and report on design progress.
- Proactively work with project controls and change orders
- Ensure timely responses to queries and requests from contractors
- Promote a strong team culture in-house and with external parties

Your Background

You have a proven track record of and enjoy leading diverse teams from many trades, backgrounds and cultures. You lead by example to create a collaborative environment promoting each team members performance to their highest level. You are a great communicator providing clear focus and priorities, while at the same time have the necessary flexibility to adapt to changes and new information.

The position requires that you have a strong technical background, either within a certain field or as a generalist. Ideally you have experience from similar large industrial project. Further, you have a background within or in close collaboration with construction and construction contractors on large scale projects. You have a very good understanding of the construction design process, promoting a holistic view, clear priorities and bold decision making. You understand the complexity of the program and you are well organized to effectively implement, manage and track multiple parallel workstreams.

Essential

- BSc degree in within relevant field: Construction management-, civil-, structural-, mechanical-, chemical-, electrical- or architectural engineering,
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience on comparable construction position
- Experience in large-scale construction projects with considerable multidisciplinary complexity, experience within general contractor or EPC organization environment is an added value.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Must have the ability to discuss technical topics with a variety of audiences – contractors, engineers, and members of various divisions within organization. Swedish is a plus.

Desirable

- Knowledge and experience working with Swedish standards for civil works such as AMA is highly preferred.
- Experience from Greenfield Projects is highly preferred.
- Experience from Swedish construction sites is preferred.
- Experience working with Bas-P related tasks is preferred.

Som projektingenjör kommer du att vara en framgångsnyckel kring alla tillfälliga installationer -och hjälpmedel i projektet. Du kommer att arbeta nära Site Logistics Manager och övriga i Site service teamet. Du kommer agera som spindel i nätet och bistå med information för att tillsammans se till att projektet rör sig framåt.

Arbetet kommer att innebära kommunikation med både externa och interna kontakter i olika forum för att se till att informationen är tydligt kommunicerad och förankrad. Du kommer jobba med fortlöpande intern administration, såsom att upprätta statusrapporter i vårt rapporteringssystem och genomföra olika beställningar.

Om rollen

I denna spännande möjlighet kommer du att vara en avgörande medlem i vår dynamiska organisation och bidra till byggnationen av vår nya Gigafabrik.

Som driftsättningssamordnare kommer du att arbeta nära driftsättningschefen som en integrerad del av driftsättningssteamet. Dina huvudsakliga ansvarsområden kommer att inkludera att skapa och implementera utförandeplaner, testplaner, testprocedurer, checklistor och avslutningsdokument i enlighet med företagets standarder. Dessutom kommer du att spela en avgörande roll i att analysera tidplaner , identifiera potentiella förseningar eller förändringar och föreslå effektiva lösningar för att säkerställa att projektets tidslinjer uppfylls. Din bakgrund

About the role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be a vital member of our dynamic Construction Organization, contributing to the construction of our new Gigafactory. As Commissioning Coordinator, you will work closely with the Commissioning Manager as an integral part of the Commissioning team. Your main responsibilities will include creating and implementing execution plans, test plans, test procedures, checklists, and completion documents in compliance with company standards. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in analyzing schedules, identifying potential delays or changes, and proposing effective solutions to ensure project timelines are met. You are also expected to support the Commissioning team on fieldwork.

Key responsibilities:

- Establishing and maintaining the commissioning schedule, monitoring critical path, and reviewing contractor construction schedule to align with commissioning priorities.
- Providing input to risk management process, evaluating possible schedule impacts and defining mitigation measures.
- Communicating plans, targets, and status to project members.
- Planning and participating in tests and verifications to ensure system functionality.
- Using the company's completion tool to monitor work completion and ensure prompt handling of outstanding work.
- Communicate priorities and drive timely process change requests and change orders to fulfill project milestones.
- Become a backbone of the EPCM team, supporting on developing the organization according to Company mission and supporting hand in hand team members.

Your Background

Essential

- BSc or MSc degree, for example in mechanical, electrical, industrial or civil engineering
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience within commissioning
- Experience in large-scale construction projects with considerable multidisciplinary complexity, experience within general contractor or EPC organization environment is an added value.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Must have the ability to discuss technical topics with a variety of audiences – contractors, engineers, and members of various divisions within organization. Swedish is a plus.

Desirable

- Experience from Greenfield Projects is highly preferred.
- Experience from Swedish construction sites is preferred.
- Self-performing attitude with the strong skill to contribute on team effort
- Experience in a multicultural environment.

About the role

In this role you will be part of a Document Control team responsible for the document handling both internally and externally in all project stages. You will also handle on-boarding of suppliers and contractors to our system and providing training to ensure proper use. You will have a key role in our Facility management organization in building the new Gigafactory. You will be in close collaboration with Project Controls Manager and Document Control Lead, with Project Controls Manager being the hiring manager.

What you will do in your role:

- Manage and organize documentation that comes in and goes out of NOVO
- Perform quality checks on documentation at an administrative level
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and Document Control specialists at contractors' organizations
- Act as superuser in Aconex, being responsible for ensuring that the document control software is used effectively and efficiently
