You will be responsible for the overall planning and execution of the construction activities, incl. building utilities and installation of process equipment. You will also manage contractors and ensure proper coordination across disciplines. Together with your team you make sure that the execution develops according to overall program plan and budget. You manage an effective interface between the different stakeholders on site, QHSE as well as design and commercial management.

Key responsibilities


- Act as the main project manager for a block.

- Oversee and directing parts of the project from conception to completion.

- Manage schedule deliverables and estimate costs.

- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, regulations and governance.



- Knowledge in General Conditions of Contract for Building, Civil Engineering Works and Building Services e.g AB 04, ABT 06, ABK 09, FIDIC and SSG. Experience from greenfield project is highly preferred.

- A relevant university degree is required (engineering, construction).

- Has participated in large-scale construction projects with considerable multidisciplinary complexity (e.g., lab/industrial MEP builds, EPC programs, projects with stringent safety requirements).

- +10 years of experience from role with similar challenges.

- Experience from Swedish construction sites is preferred.

- Experience from greenfield project is highly preferred.

- Excellent English written and oral skills. Swedish is a plus.

What You Will Do
In your role as Manager Electrode Engineering – Coating , you will have a unique opportunity to form and mentor a team of skilled engineering talents within Battery Cell Process and Equipment, within the department Coating. Together with your future team you will be part in shaping our ways of work by interacting with other key departments to find seamless collaboration within the NOVO Energy organization.

You will have responsibility of all aspects of engineering management related to battery cell manufacturing processes in coating area. This includes designing and implementing new technologies and specialized equipment for battery manufacturing together with the help of your team.

In this role, you will be responsible for team growth working a lot with recruiting future team players, you as the leader will cover development and long-term employee satisfaction. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in facilitating cross-functional integration with relevant engineering teams to define interfaces for advanced real-time monitoring, production control, and optimization.

Your responsibilities will include:
Responsible for overall engineering management related to Electrode (Wet) manufacturing process. From factory launch, including design and implementation of new technologies and Electrode (Wet) manufacturing equipment in cooperation with material flow, automation, new product introduction engineering projects for advanced factories.

Skills & requirements:
You have professional work experience of engineering leadership in fast-growing environments, particularly within the battery cell, semiconductor, electrochemical, or food and pharmaceutical industries. With your previous experience in project management, you can support and coach your future team with developing manufacturing processes.

You as a leader thrive on leading your team by building trust, and you have a genuine passion for people growth, innovation and technology. The person we are looking for is strongly goal oriented and possess excellent time management skills.


- BSc. or M.Sc. in mechanical, chemical, industrial manufacturing engineering or equivalent.

- At least 3 years experiences in managing engineers and large-scale projects in multi-cultural environment. Experience in Electrode manufacturing would be an asset.

- Extensive project management experience in demanding industrial environments.

- Technical experienced in development of manufacturing process for industrial manufacturing equipment.

- Competences in industrial methodologies such as value stream analysis, lean manufacturing, FMEA, design to cost etc.

- Excellent English written and oral skills.

About the role
As Machine Vision Engineer you will be part of the NOVO Engineering department. In your role you will collaborate with a cross-functional group of experts from automation, control, materials flow, factory design and software engineering. Together, we will design and implement software systems that enable a highly automated production process.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Design, build, develop and implement state-of-the-art machine vision system solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure smooth system integration.
- Work with product specifications, process requirements, and system complexity to guarantee successful deployment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in identifying and resolving issues with vision system mechanical, hardware, and software components.
- Implement effective troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair strategies.
- Engage in effective communication with various stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors and suppliers, to ensure a holistic approach to system development and integration.

Skills & requirements:

In your role as Machine Safety and CE-marking Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the CE-marking compliance of automated manufacturing and material handling equipment. - Knowledge regarding EU product directives, harmonized standards and preferable Swedish legislation.

- Trackable machine safety and CE training.

What you will do:

As Senior Manager Test & Validation, you will have a crucial role in leading all activities and people in your team. The Test & Validation team is managing two labs in the Gigafactory, doing performance & life testing as well as safety & environment testing. This testing is the base for continuous production process validation. This testing is also a key element in problem solving in operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Management system:


- Manage the strategy and targets for the team.

- Process owner for the T&V processes.

- Business ownership of T&V IT systems.

Operations:


- Lead and develop the organization, leaders, and team members in line with NOVO Energy’s Mission, Vision, and Culture values.

- Secure that leaders and employees in the organization have the correct competence, tools, and equipment to perform their tasks.

- Drive continuous improvement within the team and processes.

- Secure the creation of training material as well as the execution of training to the team in quality topics.

- Lead the operations of the T&V laboratories.

- Accountable for the T&V laboratory areas, always ensuring safe operation by employees in the laboratories.

- Own the T&V instruments and equipment, secure maintenance, calibration, documentation, and training.

- Define, own, and execute the method and equipment development roadmap, as well as the development and validation of analytical methods.

Project phase:


- Secure the deliveries from the Quality team, according to the project plan, when establishing the T&V- labs. Examples of deliveries from the Quality team is layout, specifications, support in the RFQ process and execution of installations and commissioning of equipment / instruments.

Skills & Requirements

To excel in this role, you need to have a proven strong leadership capability with 5-10 years’ experience from leading roles in Li-ion battery testing. As a person you are structured, organized and meticulous with good communication skills. You are execution oriented and able to solve complex problems, as well as organize teams and competences. You have a high level of integrity, also under pressure and are able to efficiently sort and prioritize between tasks.

Part from that you have the following competences:


- BSc in Engineering.

- Experience from working with high voltage according to Swedish law and safety standards.

- Strong knowledge in statistics and problem-solving methods

- Excellent English skills - oral and written

- Analytical and fact based when making decisions.

Som
Produktionsingenjör kommer du att supportera i kontakten med leverantörer och med tvärfunktionella NOVO-team, fokusera på ett specifikt område av utrustning för tillverkning av battericeller, från

Kvalifikationer

Vi ser att du är en nyfiken och uthållig lagspelare som har erfarenhet av att leda förbättringsprojekt i en produktionsmiljö i en fabrik. Du närmar dig problemlösning med en ”can-do”-attityd, disciplin och trivs i en miljö med högt tempo.

- Civilingenjörsexamen eller högre examen inom kemi-, maskin-, industri- eller elektroteknik eller motsvarande
- Industrierfarenhet från krävande industrimiljöer
- Erfarenhet av att skala upp produktion i en snabbväxande miljö - helst inom batteri-, livsmedels-, läkemedels-, pappers- och massaindustrin, halvledarindustrin eller liknande industri
- Erfarenhet av och intresse för konstruktion och drifttagning
- Kännedom om OEE-mätning (Overall Equipment Efficiency) och andra relevanta nyckeltal för produktion
- Kännedom om Lean, 5S, Poka-Yoke, Six Sigma-metoden är ett plus

What you will do

In this role you will be overseeing the commissioning activities of your discipline, working in close collaboration with Commissioning Manager, construction Team and subcontractors. You will be the first point of contact when it comes to I&C commissioning, ensuring a high level of standard and safety throughout the phases.

Your responsibilities will include:


- Organize and supervise the I&C commissioning team from systems turnover to Facility handover.

- Prepare, manage, perform, coordinate, and monitor the I&C commissioning of the specified systems, development of commissioning plans, testing procedures, protocols, and reports for the equipment’s and auxiliaries thru the commissioning management system.

- Securing and confirming all isolations during equipment commissioning activities, and enforce HSE site requirements.

- Facilitate the handover of systems from erection to commissioning and from commissioning to the Facility in accordance with current procedures.

- Ensure the commissioning, operation, quality record and feedback documentation are issued.

- Ensure that technical deviations are reported with a corresponding non-conformance report and that the same are followed up until their completion.

Skills & Requirements

- University degree, BSc, MSc or equivalent, within instrumentation & automation engineering, electrical engineering or similar.

- Strong practical experience with industrial commissioning activities.

- Minimum 5 years documented experience from similar position in previous projects within greenfield industrial projects.

- Good knowledge and competence within commissioning documentation and procedures.

- Previous experience with commissioning management software is a plus.

What You Will Do
The overall purpose in this role is to ensure integration and operation of process and machinery equipment within battery manufacturing facilities. You will work in close collaboration with our experts in both Engineering team, and our Facility & EPC team.

Your responsibilities will include:


- Design, review and verify electrical systems, control cabinets and safety circuits for process and machinery equipment, supplied by various international suppliers.

- Designing electrical interfaces, ensuring compatibility between equipment and facility, improving automation and control systems, and implementing energy-saving measures.

- Maintain equipment electrical documentation, including schematics, drawings, specifications, installation and commissioning procedures and maintenance manuals.

- Identify and mitigate electrical hazards, implement safety features, and provide guidance on safe operation and maintenance practices.

- Contribute to safe operations and participate in knowledge transfer workshops and internal education within NOVO Energy.

Your Background
To be successful in this role you have previous working experience within Industrial Automation in process-driven industries such as: mining, paper mill, semiconductors, fine chemicals, automotive, pharma, food or similar. You have good experience in writing technical documentations such as electrical safety requirement specifications, instructions, diagrams.

As a person you are self-going, solution oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. You have the ability to work well with others in a multi-cultural team environment, as well as independently. Furthermore, we see that you have an eye for details with high sense of quality. We believe that you have:


- BSc or MSc in electrical engineering or equivalent

- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, control systems and instrumentation relevant to the equipment

What you will do:
In this position you will act as a Superintendent and quickly respond to queries and resolve any technical barriers to completion between external and internal parties. As a Tool Install Supervisor, you will understand construction sequences and review designs for constructability on Clean Dry room equipment integration. In this position you will play key project-integrator role in our multidisciplinary Facility Engineering Organization in building the new Gigafactory. As Instrumentation & Control Engineer you will pro-actively support and assist the I&C Engineering Lead along the way and contribute on successful delivery of the assigned I&C design package. You will have full ownership over portions of the I&C design development process with responsibilities to prepare, collect, review, register, distribute and manage wide variety of design documents. You will make sure that all project members are well connected and informed, by developing close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

With assistance of the Instrumentation & Control Engineering lead you will:

- Manage I&C design consultants by establishing the deliverable list for specific design packages, organizing the plan and key milestones to ensure on time commitments are met to successfully drive the project.
- Manage the quality of the design deliverables, ensuring the systems are aligned to the project specification requirements to the project.
- Assist during the installation efforts answering Request for Information from contractors or construction in a timely manner to avoid productivity loss due to design decisions.

Your Background

Essential

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience on comparable construction position.
- Experience in large-scale construction projects with considerable multidisciplinary complexity, experience within general contractor or EPC organization environment is an added value.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Must have the ability to discuss technical topics with a variety of audiences – contractors, engineers, and members of various divisions within organization. Swedish is a plus.

- Experience from battery production process or similar is highly preferred, as the role involves studying the measurement and control of process variables (e.g., pressure, temperature, humidity, flow pH, force and speed, etc.), and the design and implementation of systems that incorporate them.

What you will do

In this role you will be overseeing the commissioning activities of your discipline, working in close collaboration with Commissioning Manager, construction Team and subcontractors. You will be the first point of contact when it comes to HV/MV commissioning, ensuring a high level of standard and safety throughout the phases.

Your responsibilities will include:


- Organize and supervise the HV/MV Electrical commissioning team from systems turnover to Facility handover.

- Prepare, manage, perform, coordinate, and monitor the HV/MV electrical commissioning of the specified systems, development of commissioning plans, testing procedures, protocols, and reports for the equipment’s and auxiliaries thru the commissioning management system.

- Securing and confirming all isolations during equipment commissioning activities, and enforce HSE site requirements.

- Facilitate the handover of systems from erection to commissioning and from commissioning to the Facility in accordance with current procedures.

- Ensure the commissioning, operation, quality record and feedback documentation are issued.

- Ensure that technical deviations are reported with a corresponding non-conformance report and that the same are followed up until their completion.

Skills & Requirements

- University degree, BSc, MSc or equivalent, within electrical engineering or power systems.

- Strong practical experience with industrial commissioning activities.

- Minimum 5 years documented experience from similar position in previous projects within greenfield industrial projects.

- Good knowledge and competence within commissioning documentation and procedures.

- Previous experience with commissioning management software is a plus.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

- Driving RFx-processes with full responsibility and understanding of cost breakdowns and buildup of time plans.

- Track and execute the contract for equipment investments from a commercial perspective to ensure the delivery of the equipment according to agreement.

The team

Our Construction team consists of construction and civil-engineering professionals with skills and experiences from major projects all over the world. Working as an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management) organisation, the team has end-to-end ownership for designing and delivering a Gigafactory that meets the needs of high-tech battery manufacturing using the most sustainable and innovative methods in construction.

What you will do

Our Electrical Design team is responsible for the design, and involved in installation and commissioning of all electrical systems required to support advanced battery manufacturing, ranging from 400V up to 132kV. This includes HV substation, the entire electrical distribution network (MV/LV), fire and security system for all auxiliary buildings, carparks, renewable generation infrastructure and BESS systems.

As a HV Electrical Engineer, you will work in close partnership with a team of experienced electrical engineer and support our Power System Engineering Lead. Here you’ll take a lead in all technical and project management activities related to HV electrical systems and be heavily involved in the design phase, procurement, installation, commissioning, energization, operation, and service.

Working in a cross-functional environment, you will be a partnering with stakeholders across our Construction and Manufacturing Engineering teams as well as external vendors.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Coordinate and instruct the contractor of HV substation from design to energization.

Participate, review, and verify the system design from substation contractor.

The job

As a Digital Workplace Technician you will be the face of our IT organization, taking part in finding, testing and implementing new tech and solutions as well as providing hands-on technical IT support to all NOVO colleagues. Your role will involve ensuring that our clients' technology environments operate seamlessly, and delivering top-notch customer service.
Here you’ll have the support of experienced Digital Workplace colleagues, and work closely with our Service Owner, Digital Workplace.



Key responsibilities:


- Respond promptly and professionally to on-site service requests.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems on various devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and office networking equipment.

- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.

- Conduct hardware upgrades, replacements, and repairs as necessary.

- Collaborate closely with Service Owner for Digital workplace to understand specific IT requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

- Provide end-user training and guidance on IT-related topics.

- Maintain accurate records of service requests, repairs, and inventory.
- Discovering, testing and implementing new tech, applications, or ways of working.

- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

- Occasionally participate in after-hours and weekend on-call support rotations.

Who we're looking for

We believe you are a strong team player with an outgoing and user focused approach. You love finding solutions and helping people by ensuring their digital work environment support their needs.

To be considered for this role, we see that you bring experience or familiarity with concepts of ITSM, preferably ITIL 4.0 framework (mainly incident, problem and knowledge management) as well as MDM and hands-on experience from Microsoft Autopilot and Intune.


- Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills.

- Fluency in English and Swedish languages to ensure you can support all employees and work effectively with vendors.

- High school diploma or equivalent technical certifications or a degree in an IT-related field preferred.

- Proven experience in a similar IT support role.

- Strong knowledge of Windows, knowledge of macOS is beneficial

- Familiarity with hardware components, peripherals, networking devices and mobile devices (iOS and Android).

- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

The opportunity (and challenge)

Battery manufacturing is a tech-lovers dream. An environment filled with specialized equipment, high-level engineering solutions, cutting-edge technology and incredibly people working together. Connecting it all is our Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Based on a Northvolt concept, this cloud-first solution will be the key to monitor and optimize our battery production from start-to-end.

Manufacturing Systems Integration Engineer

Working alongside a committed team and in close collaboration with our partners at Northvolt, you will influence this critical project at every level throughout its entire lifecycle. From design and implementation all the way to ongoing improvements in the production environment.
Responsible for system setup, equipment integration design, configuration, deployment, testing and validation, this is a rare opportunity for a driven software engineer looking to test their skills and build smart-factory solutions for the future.


- System and integration design.

- Deploy and configure MES functionality according to detailed technical design.

- Review, test and validate supplier connectivity implementation and digitalization product functionality.

- Integrate MES functionality with the equipment.

- Prepare and support in supplier workshops.

- Support & lead technical solution design for equipment integration projects.

- Collaborate with the MES development engineers, platform engineers and equipment suppliers.

- Factory support connected to MES system.

- Frequent travel to Stockholm to work with our partners in the Northvolt team.

What you’ll bring to the table

We believe you are a strong team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams and external parties to invent and problem solve. You’re purpose driven and understand that the mission is to establish a Gigafactory where the time plan is tight, and collaboration is key. You bring well-developed technical skills, problem solving abilities and you’re comfortable in finding ways to move forward under ambiguous circumstances.
You're reliable, structured, pride yourself in delivering high-quality work and looking after those around you.

Your background includes;


- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics - or equivalent experience gained from work.

- Experience as a software engineer, preferably in a forward-deployed or integration-focused role involving manufacturing equipment or embedded software.

- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, distributed systems, and eventual consistency.

- Proficiency in Golang, Python, Java, C++ and experience with software development frameworks.

- Experience working with cloud solutions e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP etc.

- Bonus points for specific skills in Git, Kubernetes, Micro services, and AWS cloud tools.
