XVIVO is in a dynamic growth phase, marked by geographical expansion and the development and launch of new products and supporting processes. To our Finance team in Gothenburg, Sweden, we are now looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Accountant.
As an Accountant, you will join a dedicated finance department in Gothenburg, consisting of six professionals. Reporting to the company´s group accounting manager, you will handle parts of the accounting for XVIVO Perfusion AB and a Dutch subsidiary focused on R&D, sales, and distribution. You will have the support of an Accounting Assistant and an Accounting Manager, forming a strong team committed to collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• General bookkeeping
• Monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Managing the finance email inbox, including both internal and external contacts
• Assisting the Accounting Manager with monthly and annual financial statements
• Handling customer invoicing, including correct VAT processing
• Managing Fixed assets
• Reporting for smaller foreign subsidiaries, including liaising with local bookkeeping firms abroad
• Assisting with audits
Essential for the Role:
• Education in Accounting
• Preferably familiar with VAT handling in different countries
• 3-5 years of experience in similar roles
• Fluency in English and Swedish
• Proficiency in Dutch is considered an advantage
