As a Senior Maintenance Manager at the body shop, you will lead and manage our maintenance organization during our transformation journey.

What you'll bring

The right candidate has a technical degree or equivalent work experience and technical knowledge, preferably within the area of maintenance. You have broad experience from manufacturing and/or quality within Volvo Cars or relevant industry.

You must have strong leadership experience from development of functions, systems, attributes and components in automotive engineering. The position requires good oral and written communication skills in both English and Swedish.

You will also be responsible for setting new targets when relevant as well as working with our global colleagues to set up action plans on how to reach the targets and follow them up. We are looking for a Performance & Drivability Analysis Engineer as a part of the Longitudinal Dynamics Team within Engineering at Volvo Cars. The job will also be supporting the other attributes within the team.

The Longitudinal Dynamics Team is part of the Vehicle Attributes department at Volvo Cars Headquarters in Gothenburg. The department supports the strategic direction of “For life. Freedom to move in a Personal, Sustainable and Safe way.” We organise attribute competence in dynamic attributes such as vehicle dynamics, drivability, charging performance, braking, body structure dynamics, road noise, wind noise, propulsion NVH, climate & thermal NVH, solidity, component NVH and active sound experience. In close collaboration with the design and release teams we take responsibility for a great driving experience for our end users.

You will get the opportunity to be involved in all project phases, from Advanced Engineering to production start with a focus on power certification. You will get a varying role where you work with testing in complete vehicle and program management securing and reporting the attribute performance contributing to the world’s most inspired and confident driving experience. We can offer state-of-the-art equipment and test facilities and the opportunity to build an extensive network with other internal design areas, suppliers, and our development center in Shanghai.


What you'll do

As a Performance & Drivability Analysis Engineer, you will support the delivery of the teams attributes. You will plan, perform, analyze and report test results from complete vehicle testing and homologation during concept, prototype and industrialization verification phases. Some focus will also be on project management and support for other attributes in the team. Most of the testing will be performed at chassis dynos in-house and at test tracks close to Gothenburg, but the position also involves leading testing activities at different tracks in Europe and expeditions on public roads.

You will also support in the requirement setting, communicate analysis results and support the design work from an attribute perspective. You will participate in the development of improved or new methods and measurement capabilities. Some of your responsibilities will be to lead assignments dependent on your experience and knowledge.

What you'll bring

We see that you have a BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering or similar and that you have an understanding of complete vehicle testing.

You are curious to develop, learn new things and grow to be a part of bringing the attribute into the age of electrification. Understanding of the customer expectations & experience and the importance of official data in the overall refinement of vehicles will be highly valued. Beneficial is also hands-on experience working on vehicles, measurement systems and test planning.

What you'll do

As a Mechanical Integration Engineer you will facilitate the concept development in your area of the car in the later part of the concept phase, and further balancing of design solution into the engineering phase. You will balance the geometric requirements and solutions from among others: Attribute Leaders, Product Design and Manufacturing to an agreed and well-functioning car. This important phase is the foundation for all further development work. The role also includes to propose or design own suggestions for design solutions and to support Block Leaders with data for reporting in the various decision-making forums. Good communication skills are required in this cross-functional role, and you will build and maintain an extensive network throughout the company.

As the car industry right now is entering a new era You will also play an important part of the transformation for Volvo cars and Mechanical Architecture & Integration in the adoption to these new times. A positive mindset also when the goal isn’t clearly defined is an important competence.

The team’s mission is to support in the enablement of the entire process of gaining insights from various data within the department teams. What you'll do

As a Data Analyst in the Vehicle Attributes Insight team, your role will be to collect, analyze, report, and interpret data for use in the development of business strategies and tactics and in subsequent appraisal of results. You will support upskilling teams to become more data driven and gaining valuable insight by:
* Make recommendations to improve data and analytics systems
* Contributing to the continuous improvement and refinement of data and analytics processes
* Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting that data into standard formats.
* Support interpretation of advanced and predictive analytics data, using specialized software tools and functionalities
* Support creation of machine learning algorithms by applying standard statistical analysis or data preparation methods

Collaboration with data scientists and engineers within each Vehicle Attributes team will be crucial for understanding data requirements and ensuring data availability and quality to enhance our analytics capabilities. Your work will have a significant impact on the organization, enabling data-driven decision-making within the Vehicles Attributes.  

What you'll bring

In this role, we are looking for an individual with experience both in data analytic and as a data analyst. We see that you bring some experience of data analysis in the domain area of automotive attributes such as energy efficiency.

To be successful the final candidate needs to be open minded, honest and have trust in people. You are a team player, comfortable working in flexible team constellations and in international contexts.

To fill this position, you need to have an excellent ability to build connections and networks and a positive and courageous attitude with good communication and collaboration skills.

We see that you have experience in car product development, fluent in English, written and spoken, and have a Master of Science in Engineering or similar.

Dina uppgifter och ansvarsområden

Som Underhållstekniker i en av våra reparationsverkstäder arbetar du med att säkerställa produktionsutrustningars driftsäkerhet genom reparationer när utförande av förebyggande och avhjälpande underhåll har gjorts. I uppgiften ingår också utredningsuppdrag avseende tekniska störningar samt att genomföra ombyggnads- och förbättringsarbeten i produktionsutrustningar. Arbetet innebär också dokumentation av ritningar, arbetsbeskrivningar samt kostnadsberäkningar. Tjänsten är förlagd på dagtid.

Du och dina färdigheter

Vi ser gärna att du har en 3 årig gymnasieutbildning med teknisk inriktning inom el, mek, automation eller motsvarande. Tidigare erfarenhet av underhållsarbete som innefattar el, mek, automation eller god PC-vana inom både mjukvaru- och hårdvaruområdet är meriterande. Har du ett stort intresse och kunskap inom flera teknikområden är det meriterande för denna roll. Det är även mycket meriterande om du har erfarenhet från processindustri samt underhållssystemet Maximo. Arbetet kräver goda kunskaper i engelska och svenska i både tal och skrift

Vårt uppdrag är att tillhandahålla problemfri användning för konsumenterna genom att skapa maximalt värde genom hela batteriets livscykel. Vi är i uppbyggnadsfas där vi har möjlighet att bygga vår process, metoder och arbetssätt från grunden. 

Som Heavy Repair Operatör på Torslanda Batterifabrik kommer du att spela en central roll i omställningen till elektrifiering. Du kommer att arbeta med högspänningsbatterier för fullelektriska batteripack, där ditt fokus ligger på felsökning, analys, reparation och komplettering av batteripack när vi går in i produktion under 2026. I våra förseriefaser kommer vi att testa vår process och produkt för att optimera och förbättra där du kommer vara med under resan och bidra med din kunskap och erfarenhet.

Vad kommer du att utföra?

I rollen som Heavy Repair Operatör kommer du att vara ansvarig för att reparera och återtillverka batterier enligt instruktioner, samt felsöka, analysera, rengöra och reparera batterierna. Planerat underhåll och 5S utförs regelbundet, och störningar löses för att minimera konsekvenserna av fel. Aktivt deltagande i analyser för att identifiera rotorsaker och hitta permanenta lösningar är en viktig del av rollen. Förbättringsförslag skapas och genomförs löpande.

Utöver ovan kommer du även att: 
* Utföra administrativa uppgifter relaterade till analys, reparation och tillhörande återkoppling.
* Ansvara för att underhållsuppgifterna utförs i tid och med hög kvalitet.
* Delta aktivt i störningsanalyser.
* Ansvara för korrekt rapportering, administration och dokumentation.
Analysera återkommande fel och orsaker i utrustningen. 


Vem är du?

Vi ser att du har gymnasiekompetens, där yrkesutbildning inom fordonsteknik eller elektronik är meriterande. Du bör ha flera års erfarenhet inom relevant område, såsom mekaniker eller tekniker, och goda tekniska kunskaper i HV-batteripack är en fördel. Starka praktiska färdigheter och erfarenhet av att hantera maskiner och verktyg är nödvändiga. Du behöver även ha goda PC-kunskaper.

Vad kommer du att utföra?

Som lagledare hos oss kommer du att vara den som coachar, inspirerar och leder laget mot uppsatta mål inom QDFIPS och du kommer även coacha lagmedlemmarna i VCMS-arbetet samt i RTM-tänket. Du kommer att skapa och tar fram instruktioner (OIS/WES) tillsammans med laget samt säkrar att de följs (QPS/POPS). Dagligen kommer du att följa upp att teamet håller uppsatta mål. Du förbereder, planerar & fördelar det dagliga arbetet.

Du kommer leda och aktivt delta i förbättringsarbeten och även delta vid Kaizen och M3MU event, därför behöver du kunna arbeta med problemlösning på att strukturerat sätt.

Du och dina färdigheter

Vi tror att du har en gymnasieutbildning i botten och goda kunskaper inom VCMS. Vidare tror vi att du har god kunskap om säkerheten inom arbetsområdet och följer givna direktiv. Har du dessutom tidigare ledarerfarenheter eller SAP kunskap är dessa meriterande för rollen.  

Utöver ovan behöver du ha B-körkort samt Truckkort (TLP10 A+B+D) och ha god körvana och kännedom om trafiksäkerheten som gäller på Volvo Cars anläggningar.

Du kommer att delta i analys och åtgärdande av tekniska störningar för att minimera driftstopp och förbättra utrustningens prestanda. Vidare kommer du att driva och genomföra förbättringsinitiativ samt ansvara för korrekt rapportering och dokumentation.

Du kommer att hantera kvalitetsavvikelser genom att förstå kvalitetsstandarder och fatta korrekta beslut för att säkerställa att kvalitetskraven uppfylls. Samarbete med kollegor och upprätthållande av ordning på arbetsplatsen är också en viktig del av din roll. Dessutom kommer du att bidra till utbildning och stöd för operatörsunderhåll samt delta i planeringen av förebyggande underhåll (FU).

Inom Die Maintenance ansvarar vi för underhåll, reparation och förbättring av gjutverktyg och klippverktyget för att säkerställa en stabil och pålitlig produktion.
Som Supervisor och arbetsmiljöansvarig inom Die Maintenance leder och utvecklar du teamet för att säkerställa en hög nivå av säkerhet, kvalitet och tillgänglighet på verktyg. Du arbetar med att förbättra underhållsprocesser och säkerställer att våra standardiserade arbetssätt följs enligt principer som 5S och Andon.

Dina arbetsuppgifter

I rollen som Supervisor inom Die Maintenance kommer du att

•    Leda och coacha ett team av underhållspersonal, 15 personer.
•    Säkerställa att underhållsarbetet bedrivs effektivt och i enlighet med uppsatta mål för säkerhet, kvalitet, leverans och teamutveckling.
•    Arbeta proaktivt med att identifiera och implementera förbättringsåtgärder för att optimera verktygens livslängd och prestanda.
•    Samverka med andra avdelningar, såsom produktion och processutveckling, för att säkerställa en smidig och effektiv produktion.
•    Ansvara för att arbetsmiljö- och säkerhetsföreskrifter efterlevs inom avdelningen.
•    Driva ett systematiskt förbättringsarbete genom Root Cause Analysis (RCA), PDCA och andra problemlösningsmetoder.
•    Följa upp och analysera underhållsnyckeltal genom RTM för att säkerställa att mål uppnås och identifiera områden för utveckling.

Är du ledaren vi söker?

För att lyckas i rollen som Supervisor inom Die Maintenance ser vi att du har erfarenhet av att leda team inom underhåll, produktion eller liknande tekniskt område. Du har en teknisk utbildning på gymnasie- eller högskolenivå, alternativt motsvarande erfarenhet inom underhåll av gjut- eller pressverktyg. Du har en förmåga att analysera problem och driva förbättringsarbete, är trygg i ditt ledarskap och har en coachande ledarstil som engagerar och motiverar dina medarbetare. 

Vidare har du god kommunikationsförmåga och trivs i en dynamisk arbetsmiljö där bra samarbete är en förutsättning för att nå resultat. Du har erfarenhet av att arbeta med Lean, 5S och andra underhållsstrategier samt erfarenht av produktionsmiljön och är van vid att fatta beslut i en föränderlig miljö.
