What´s in it for you

In this role, you will lead and support cross-functional business projects for incoming components in our Electronic Control Units. You will be responsible for the relationship with some of our important Semiconductor suppliers and creating a new way of working with them including partnership, new collaboration models, and direct negotiation. This includes preparation, implementation, analysis, negotiation, supplier selection, and contract management. 
You will support, develop and implement supplier strategies, and create and maintain commercial relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
You enjoy working proactively with key stakeholders to understand your components, their market, delivery base, and potential innovation, to find ways to increase the value of Volvo Cars, including cost, quality, and sustainability.
The role performs market analysis, prioritization, and identification of optimal negotiation tactics as well as handling business in current production.

To succeed in this role, you have a Business or Technical University degree in Electronics (or equivalent).

Semiconductors is a global commodity, so excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English are a requirement and additional languages like Mandarin, and Swedish is advantageous.

Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter:

- Strategisk prissättning, prisuppdatatering och prisjustering.
- Strategisk kontinuerlig översyn och utvärdering av leverantörer.
- Supportera inköp med styrning av orderflöden mot leverantörer.

Din profil

För att lyckas i rollen behöver du som söker ha god förhandlingsförmåga samt vara stark analytiskt och strategiskt. Goda kunskaper i Excel och Powerpoint samt goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska är också krav för tjänsten. Vidare ser vi erfarenhet av strategiskt inköp samterfarenhet från stålbranschen som meriterande.

About us 
The Audio Systems group is responsible for both Hardware, Software and System development of all audio functionality in the cars. Apart from the sound systems the responsibility also includes systems like ANC (Active Noise Control), Microphones, Bluetooth Handsfree and Exterior Sound for Hybrid/Electrical vehicles. You will manage the software developed at the supplier. A key responsibility in this role is to compile the technical requirements from the various stakeholders and make sure that the supplier has accepted the scope for the development. We document the software for release to production and aftermarket in systems like *KDP, System Weaver and secure steps in the quality process.

We are working agile and you will be part of a team working in a common prioritized backlog owned by the product owner (PO). You will be supported by developers in the surrounding teams for the technical details and specific tasks.

The two teams within Function & Control is responsible for development of all seat functions at Volvo Cars. We design, develop, and deliver software and mechanical functionality and design, for both our inhouse and the supplier part of the control modules.
You and your skills
You have at least 5 years of experience as tester in Embedded systems.
You are structured, driven and have good documentation skill. You are also proactive and have positive attitude and energy. 
You will be an active part of improving our day-to-day ways of working. 
Your main responsibility
You will take an active part in defining the Test Strategy, Test plans, Test methods, Test execution and Test Automation to be included in the Continuous Integration.
Analyze logs e.g. DSA, Vector CANoe and contribute in fault reports. Interaction with the ones that have implemented the software, either the colleagues in the team nearby or the external supplier is needed to gain information about implementation and test results as well review documentation. 
You will utilize Test-vehicles, HIL(Hardware-In-the-Loop) or test bench setup depending on what test environments that is most suited for previous, current and future projects.
You will be main responsible for following up customer /field issues reported, analyze them and drive them towards closure for all previous car programs which are already in the market.

Requirements:
Essential Competencies:
•    Knowledge and experience in CAN, CANFD, LIN protocols, Vector tool chain for Test and verification.
•    Knowledge about Test/Verification Process and Methodologies
•    Knowledge about System Safety standard ISO26262 and Cyber security standard ISO21434
•    Experience in Python/CAPL scripting for automating Test and Building Bench setup/HIL 
•    Driving license (B)
•    Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Good To have: 
•    Experience in analyze diagnostic events and services 
•    Knowledge of AUTOSAR diagnostic modules and bootloaders
•    Team player with problem solving skills
•    Knowledge and understanding in simple electronics/electrical HW-circuits
•    Vehicle networking, e.g CAN, CAN FD, LIN etc.

This role is within our Global Online Digital team, which is using digital technologies to reinvent the experience of becoming a Volvo customer. You will be responsible for developing Front-end software for consumer-facing and internal products across more than 100 countries. We create the end-to-end experience for online sales/subscriptions of cars, global campaigns as well as frameworks for other parts of Volvo Cars. You should have a start-up experience where you have quickly developed prototypes and catalysed product development in a fast-paced, fluid environment. You are a hands-on developer with front-end experience. You are experienced with agile development and a champion of software development best practices.

You are experienced as a front-end software engineer. To succeed in this role, you need to have a minimum of 2?years of work experience developing front-end software and being an expert in Javascript programming and in building UIs with HTML, CSS, React.js, Typescript and Next.js framework.

Experience in using one or more cloud providers like AWS or Azure. Someone who has experience in building accessible and performant websites. Experience with CI/CD tools. Great understanding of Service Oriented Architectures. Last but not least, share our passion for cars and developments in the auto industry.
