We are looking for a talented attorney with expertise in the fields of insolvency, restructuring and bankruptcy to join our Restructuring team. You will report to the Head of Restructuring within the Business Controlling group at Volvo Group Purchasing. Your work will involve cross-functional collaboration with the Purchasing Group’s legal and finance teams as well as with business stakeholders across the globe with the expertise in German insolvency, bankruptcy and reconstruction. The position may require travelling from time to time.


Main Activities and Responsibilities
Actively lead supplier insolvency, restructuring and bankruptcy matters.
Draft and negotiate template and bespoke agreements to facilitate supplier restructuring matters and address supply chain risk issues.
Prepare analyses of relevant insolvency and other relevant laws in the context of supplier financial distress.
Provide counselling to business stakeholders in connection with supplier disputes.
Draft and update contract templates, in particular with respect to supplier restructuring matters.
Coordinate with legal counsels within Trucks Purchasing as well as from other business areas of the Volvo Group around the world on various legal matters, in particular insolvency and restructuring matters.

Critical Competencies
5-10+ years legal experience.
German insolvency/bankruptcy law knowledge and experience
Relevant bar admission.
Experience negotiating and drafting, among other things, accommodation agreements, continuation agreements, collateral documents, restructuring agreements, and other agreements relevant to companies in financial distress.
Experience in driving restructuring processes.
Excellent English and home country communication skills, both verbal and written.
Sound financial knowledge.

Other Desirable Competencies
Experience with litigation matters, particularly insolvency litigation and emergency (e.g., injunctive, preliminary, and other) litigation.
Experience in the automotive sector.
Knowledge of other European languages and/or Chinese.
Prior experience working for multi-national organizations.
Experience with procurement processes.

What will you do?
You will be responsible for leading and driving the legal and compliance aspects in establishing our Battery Cell production in Mariestad. You will provide high quality legal advice, agreement drafting, negotiation support, trainings and guidelines to the organization. You are also expected to participate in strategy formulation, business decisions and contribute to the overall success of the Battery Cell production. You will cooperate with inhouse as well as external lawyers. You will also foster a culture in line with Volvo Group values and principles.

What you’ll do

* Providing risk-based advice to the Procurement department in various global sourcings.
* Supporting in contract negotiations with suppliers and business partners
* Providing legal advice to our business colleagues in respect of various types of commercial agreements, in both large and small projects.

* Drafting and reviewing agreements, both tailor made and templates. 
* Providing legal trainings to the various departments of the company.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, we believe you hold the following qualifications: 

* Master of Law degree. 
* 6+ years of experience as a lawyer at a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel, handling various commercial legal matters and with extensive experience in reviewing, drafting, and assisting in negotiations of commercial contracts.
* Experience from working with risk and claims management.
* Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, without losing sight of the big picture. 
* Experience from working with large construction projects and various administrative authorities, preferably in different countries is meriting.

The role
As our Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding the legal interests of Kognic. This temporary position, from December 2023 to August 2024, involves working closely with various departments and stakeholders to address legal risks and ensure compliance with laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions. You will be the sole team member of the legal team, but at the same time work closely with other departments and external counsels. In this role you will effectively translate and convey legal, business, and technical concepts to stakeholders with a proactive and collaborative approach. The fun part is that you will work both with Kognic's commercial side as well as contribute to our business development.

External responsibilities
You will provide legal insights, advice and assessments in sales and quotation processes, from initial lead to final agreement. You will also participate in negotiations, review contracts, as well as collaborate with external counsel when you deem it necessary.

Offering legal perspective, guidance and assessments on matters related to global suppliers and subcontractors is also a vital part of this position. You will also engage in negotiations and oversee drafting of agreements.

In this position you will act as a bridge between commercial teams and external counsel to ensure a seamless communication and minimize friction in legal matters.

Another part of this position is to collaborate with relevant managers in both strategic and structural development of external and commercial matters, such as product packaging, commercial terms, data management and such.

Internal responsibilities
When it comes to the internal matters you will provide legal advice, assessments and come with input in various departments e.g., HR, finance, business development, and data protection. You will take part in driving strategic and structural development in internal legal and compliance, involving contract management, intellectual property (IP) management, GDPR compliance and so on.

Who are you?
You have a business-oriented mindset and an interest in tech. Beside this you have experience of working closely with stakeholders, both internal and external. You are drawn to fast paced organizations and prefer to work inhouse.

We see that you have:

- A Law degree or equivalent education

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in law firms, consulting, corporate legal, startups, or similar environments

Om rollen
Som hyresrättsjurist kommer du bland annat att vara en intern stödfunktion för våra förvaltningsorganisationer ute i landet. Du kommer att agera rådgivare för verksamheten i hyresrättsliga frågor såsom tex avtal och störningar. En stor del av rollen kommer innebära att utreda och processa hyresrättsliga tvister och att företräda Willhem i ärenden i hyresnämnden. About the role:
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in developing electrical hardware and electric motor drive systems. Collaborating in a dynamic environment, you'll work with skilled engineers and engage with internal and external partners. Bring your visionary thinking, enthusiasm, strong knowledge, effective communication skills to this role, and contributing to the development of different generation technologies in a team environment.

Your major responsibilities are the following:

•    Supporting product owner within different projects in technical and process tasks.
•    Providing Volvo Group with support and expertise within the competence area.
•    Contributing to development work with suppliers and technology partners.
•    Leading process planning with a strategic approach.
•    Participating and providing process and technical results in product development projects.
•    Evaluating technical solution and preparing technical requirement and documents.
•    Collaborating and conducting test plan, time plan and supporting engineers within the team.
•    Work cross functional with both internal and external suppliers.
•    Coordinating cross-functional team to accomplish technical and process tasks.

To succeed in this role, it is essential to possess the following qualifications:

•    Master's degree (M.Sc.) or higher in Power Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering.
•    A minimum of 8 years of experience in automotive product development.
•    Proficiency in electric product development and design, particularly in electric motor drives and inverters.
•    Knowledge of power electronics, electric drive system and Inverter.
•    Proven expertise in developing technical requirements in collaboration with suppliers.
•    Familiarity with automotive standards, requirements management tools, and process tools.
•    Strong collaboration skills, with a willingness to engage in task development with colleagues.
•    Familiarity with simulation tools.
•    Fluency in spoken and written English.

The Team
Our team, “Central functional safety at GTT” is in the heart of a great transformation. We work with developing and design vehicle functional safety concept, supporting all product streams across GTT to do HARA, FSC, TSC , Joint review with supplier and ensure compliancy of our development process and product to state of the arts such as ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 (SOTIF) and also AD standards such as UL 4600.
As Senior Functional Safety Engineer you will be part of the central functional safety competence center  and will be involved in both process and product development. This includes all levels of product development from participating in strategic planning for the group, partner/suppliers’ selection, review Functional Safety Statement of Work, initial concept design and stages of development through to production launch. It will involve interfacing with a variety of groups including electrical engineering and mechatronics engineering as well as customers and suppliers / technical partners.  
In this position you will be involve in detail of safety design, requirement review and support teams to do FSC and TSC at system, SW and HW levels which might include the refinement of safety requirements on HW and SW and ensure bidirectional traceability. 

The main responsibilities entailed in this role are:

• Active involvement in writing functional safety instruction and guidelines, providing templates.
• Provide functional safety trainings for different safety activities including impact analysis, HARA, safety analysis on SW and HW part. 
• Planning and scorekeeping of safety test activities (Safety plan) depending on the scope of each specific vehicle project 
• Drive the development of functional and technical safety concepts within the function, system, subsystem, software, and hardware 
• Lead functional safety engineering activities for product development teams and develop technical work products. 
• Co-developing Impact analysis and making recommendations for inclusion of accurate safety criteria in system design and procedures to control or eliminate hazards. 
• Develop technical work products specific for functional safety requirements, e.g. item definition, criticality analyses, other safety analyses, and test coverage analysis for safety requirements
• Support the implementation of functional and technical safety requirements in all parts of the vehicle system design 
• Support the development of verification and validation strategies within the subsystems, software, and hardware, e.g. hazard and risk assessment (HARA), FTAs, DFMEAs, functional safety concept & technical safety concept (for systems with safety goals or ASIL classified requirements) 
• Develop and integrate Functional Safety standards and industry common practices into corporate processes according to ISO 26262. 
• Ensure technical specifications and other work products are prepared, and stored correctly, and revisions are managed and released in timely manner 
• Ensure that safety plan activities meet program timing. 
• Align safety related topics with suppliers and customers. 

Who are you!

As a person, you have a broad technical know-how combined with very good people skills and a strong belief in agile methods. You have a strong ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams. 

Required qualifications:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. within Electrical, Applied Physics, Mechatronic Engineering 
• Knowledge of functional safety activities and deliveries according to ISO 26262 
• Documented experience of working with:

1. Safety Analyses at HW and SW levels including HW/SW,
2. FMEA & FTA, Performing DFA, analysis of freedom of Interferences.
3. Specification of the hardware-software interface (HSI)
4. SW/HW Architecture
5. HW schematics, BOM list and HW Metrics (ASIL C/D)

• Functional and technical safety concept for automotive industry within domains with ASIL > B
• Fluent in English, spoken and written. (C2)
• Excellent communication skills

Who are you?
You have a Master´s degree in Engineering, or equivalent, and at least ten years of experience of automotive development: experience from Product planning, Chassis or Electromobility is preferred. You have technical leadership experience as a project or line manager, including product ownership, and extensive knowledge in automotive development. Knowledge in working with planning, balancing, and managing pre-studies in early project phases is also part of your experience.

Your main responsibility will be to calculate part prices and tooling investments, both in new truck projects and as a support to today’s truck business. You will perform cost target setting and cost breakdowns of new and existing parts based on drawings or physical parts. 
You will start early in the concept selection phase, working intimately with engineering and design. You will follow the products thru the development phases and then actively support the targets you have set in the sourcing process. Another part of Cost Engineering work is to support the change management process, calculating impact in tooling and product cost.

In this work it’s important to cooperate with many different parts of our organization such as purchasing, engineers, project leaders, module managers and of course your colleagues within the Product Finance department.

What will you do?
The Cost Engineering Department is now looking for a Cost Engineer for the Electrical area for the E&E group. The group is dedicated to fast-changing and exciting technology areas, covering all electronics and electrical Architecture in the truck, and supporting Volvo Bus and Penta as well.

Estimating cost for wiring harness, starter motors, alternators, and similar components is done with both engineering and business mindset, i.e., by analyzing actual hardware/technical and commercial prerequisites to understand what requirements are driving cost. The role gives the possibility to deep dive into new and future technologies, which are in a dynamic phase where new functions are designed into future sustainable solutions.
Your main responsibilities include the strive to make sure that Volvo always gets value for money when purchasing parts, by estimating the right cost level (Bill of Material and manufacturing process) and supporting with negotiation arguments for purchasing. Another important task is to support product development with cost estimates to support design decisions for future products and changes. You contribute to strategic business plans, teardowns, and cost workshops with your expertise in electronic components and manufacturing.
The position includes traveling to suppliers’ manufacturing sites to take in-depth technical discussions with them about their production lines or lay-outs for cost drivers and investments.

Your profile
To be successful in this position, you have specialist knowledge in at least one of the fields: electro mechanics, electronics and / or wiring. Furthermore, we also see that you have got the following knowledge/experience:

B.Sc in Electrical & Electronics engineering or equivalent experience, such as manufacturing engineering, sales engineering or product development.
Engineer / Experienced technician / Manufacturing engineer / maintenance with a    background of lean experience in the automotive industry or in the supply chain    
Since we are a global company, it is important that you are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Experience in cost calculations and knowledge in CAD and finance is an advantage

What you will do
