This is how you could make an impact
As Delivery Manager for Mobile & XR deliveries, you will be key in the execution of the Digital & IT Strategy. In this role, you will be an important contributor to the transformation of the IT landscape in Volvo Group. You will enable the shift to a modern, agile, and cost-efficient delivery organization. You will be part of the Mobile & XR Management Team and report to the Head of Mobile & XR.


These are the main expectations on you
You will be accountable for the deliveries of the Mobile & XR feature products across different TD/BA/GFs.
To achieve this, you will:
manage business and major project and application interfaces and based on their inputs build the capacity planning and secure the IT Delivery quality;
secure budget and quality of operations by nurturing the continuous improvement mindset in the Mobile & XR extended team;
be accountable for quality, security and My IT Delivery targets for the Mobile & XR feature products and applications of your portfolio;
ensure execution of assigned/required processes and activities and follow up on results delivered for own area of responsibility;
handshake with the concerned business the Mobile & XR transformation journey and secure a good alignment with them;
work in a close collaboration with the Mobile & XR Foundational Product Transformation Leads to secure requirements for the technology roadmap and investment plan;
work with Chapters organization to execute the capacity plan;
manage the team of direct reports of Solution Leaders and Delivery Leaders from Poland, France, Sweden.

Som Model Manager är det också din uppgift att identifiera och proaktivt lösa utmaningar i uppdraget. Det kan t.ex. handla om att återkoppla med förbättringar i våra arbetssätt, utbildningar, mallfiler eller i form av input till skripter för att effektivt lösa repetitiva arbetsuppgifter genom automatisering.
Rollen innebär att vara involverad från starten av projekten för att stödja BIM-arbetet, både genom att bistå under Uppdragsledare och projektledaren samt genom att hålla i BIM-möten vid behov. Att lägga upp Revit-modellen enligt AFRYs mallar och BIM-manual är en annan viktig del av ditt arbete. Genom att anpassa och strukturera projektet på ett sätt som gör det lätt för alla projektmedlemmar att orientera sig i modellen och Revit-filen, underlättar du för en effektiv arbetsprocess. Rollen hjälper till med Revit-modellarbeten och ser till att projekteringen flyter på utan hinder. Ditt ansvar sträcker sig även till att säkerställa att erfarenheter från projekten återförs till den nationellt Revit-ansvarige och att implementera förbättringsåtgärder från BIM-ledningsgruppen.
Kravspecifikation
Vi söker dig som idag jobbar som BIM-strateg eller BIM-samordnare, informations-samordnare eller som har minst 5-års erfarenhet inom digital projekthantering, digital projektering eller annan form av information management och som nu är redo att ta nästa steg i din karriär inom BIM. Du har god kännedom av branschstandarder, lagkrav och har arbetat med kravställning gällande BIM och fastighetsinformation.
Du är väl förtrogen med byggsektorns process från tidiga skeden, via projekt och i förvaltning. Du har erfarenhet av att leda och styra informationshanteringen i byggprocessen och alla dess aktörer. Du förstår processerna för informationssamordning/ uppdragsledning i projekt inom samhällsbyggnad och hur dessa kan effektiviseras med hjälp av digital teknik.
Du trivs i konsultrollen och drivs av att hitta affärsmässiga och långsiktigt hållbara lösningar. Du har ett gediget tekniskt intresse.
Du har vana att som proaktiv uppdragsledare arbeta självständigt och att driva informationssamordning inom bygg- och/eller anläggningsprojekt nära beställare och i samverkan med projektledare. Krav på flerårig erfarenhet av byggprocessen och dess discipliners arbetsflöden samt behov.
Vi ser gärna att du är utbildad civilingenjör, arkitekt eller alternativt högskoleingenjör inom bygg.
Erfarenhet från stora multidisciplinära Revit-projekt.
Ha god insikt i möjligheterna med att tillämpa ex. Dynamoskript.

Strong knowledge in power systems analysis, as well as experience in software simulation tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD and/or DIgSILENT Power Factory.
You have a proven experience in creating opportunities in the markets (orders capture).

About the Role
As our new Projects & Engineering Manager you will lead the Project department, including Mechanical, Controls and Robotics, as well as Project Management and Project Administration for the Nordic market. You will initiate and lead the competence development within your team, by developing your team members through coaching, mentoring and feedback, as well as competence planning and development of the organization and employees to fulfil current and future needs. You will lead and follow up on the group’s deliverables, establish and operate through networks together with our customers. You will also be responsible for the measurement tools strategy within Metrology.
As Engineering Manager, you apply a holistic view of the measurement area taking both suppliers and R&D needs into consideration, as well as actively participate in the section management team and contribute to the development and improvement of operational efficiency and quality of deliveries.

You will have close collaboration with the Engineering Manager for the Measurement Tools Acquisition & Support team. This role offers you a great opportunity to act in many different arenas and it gives you a broad network throughout the company. 


You and your skills

We believe you have a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or equivalent expertise. We also believe you have a good understanding or measurement technology and are genuinely interested in developing your department as well as the people working in your team. You also need to be fluent in English, written and spoken. Experience from product development as well as previous leadership experience is meritorious.

In our team you will be a part of work with energy storage system testing for our various battery products.  

What you will do?  
In this role you will be at the heart of battery technology, working with verification of battery pack, ensuring fulfillment of safety, performance, and functional requirements. Testing will be done to understand the characteristics and functionalities of complete battery packs configurations. The work is done in close collaboration with development teams, suppliers, and other functions. You therefore need great communication skills and to be able to work in a cross-functional and international environment.  

We are seeking experienced system verification engineers... 
...who are passionate for both electromobility and verification. To be successful in this role you need to have prior knowledge within energy storage system testing. You are a person who is always looking for improvements in our way of working, a true team player with great communication skills. 
We also believe that you are action- and result-oriented and can prioritize your time in an effective way to accomplish your goals. With us you, together with your team of highly skilled engineers get the opportunity to develop both your professional and your individual skills. 

We expect you to have hands-on experience with battery hardware testing like test planning, test method development, creation of Design Verification Matrices (DVMs), conducting battery tests in both rig and vehicle environments. As well as collecting and analyzing test data, doing test execution/evaluation (thermal/electrical performance, legal/certification tests, functional verification, durability test). 

In addition, you have:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field. 
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 4 years focused on energy storage systems, particularly high-voltage traction batteries. 
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, and the use of Vector Tools for data analysis and visualization. 
* Strong knowledge of measurement technology and equipment used in battery testing, including but not limited to multimeters and data acquisition systems. 
* Excellent communication and cooperation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. 

Meriting:  
Experience from Electromobility and AVL testing environments?for battery packs. Knowlage within commercial vehicle or automotive product development, DVP (Develop Product and Aftermarket Product Portfolio) and Alpha testing support.  
Support for PIL’s (Failures observed on the field), benchmarking (Ex: e-Actros tests), reliability tests (hot & cold) in vehicle. We also value if you have a truck/bus driving license.

The Energy Storage System Control team is responsible for the multi-pack battery management software used in all Volvo Groups electric products. The Vehicle Motion & Thermal Management Technology stream leads and develops complete vehicle motion- and thermal control solutions for Safe, Sustainable and Efficient transportation. Our technology scope is broad and involves advanced mechatronic systems related to the motion and optimization of energy in our vehicles.

The Vehicle Motion Management team is looking for a specialist function developer to join our growing team to meet the future challenges with battery electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles and autonomous vehicles. 
We are an agile and high performing team, consisting of people with diverse backgrounds and nationalities. We deliver in-house Motion Control and advanced actuator coordination software that is used to enhance vehicle stability, performance, and energy efficiency for various vehicle configurations in different driving situations.

As a team we have fun at work, and it is important for us to stay connected by working closely together, arranging group activities etc. 

WHAT CHALLENGE DO WE OFFER?
As a function developer you will participate in areas, including (but not limited) to:
- Design of vehicle motion coordination strategies for both manually driven and highly automated vehicles
- SW design considering e.g., ISO26262 & Cyber Security requirements
- SW development within our Continuous Integration framework, delivering SW updates to production vehicles
- Algorithm design and proof of concept investigations for new Vehicle Motion Management functionality (for both manually driven and highly automated vehicles)
