In this position you will have a meaningful role in our EP5G DevOps team which has the full responsibility for developing and managing our live Cloud Environment. What you will do
Develop and manage infrastructure and services, including deployment and management of development, test, staging and production environments
Administrate Public Cloud environment including Kubernetes clusters, monitoring services, VPN and networking orchestration as well as database management
Develop functionality supporting overall project infrastructure using Python and Go
Strive to increase and develop project automation, hence cater for CI/CD flow
Drive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, provide high quality support and advice to developers and customer support function, hence enable effective development environment and world class customer support
Drive continuous improvements and innovation of services and development processes


You will bring

Din roll som Kommunikationsingenjör
Medverka vid förebyggande underhåll av kommunikationsutrustning
Medverka vid felavhjälpning av kommunikationsutrustning
Medverka vid projekt av om- och nybyggnation av kommunikationslösningar och säkerställa genomförandet av nya, löpande kommunikationsprojekt från "ax till limpa"
Vara med och ta fram design, inköp av material, implementation, installation och driftsättning
Hantera leverantörs- och entreprenörskontakter.

Resor ingår som en naturlig del av arbetet, mestadels över dagen men resor med övernattning förekommer. Arbetet utförs till ca 75% i fält, i kundernas anläggningar.


Kravspecifikation

Qualifications
You might have a PhD in energy transfer and automotive embedded systems, or you just built the charging solution for your own home-brewed electrical vehicle using an Arduino and some duct-tape. What we know is that most of our customers that we work with seem to work with Matlab/Simulink and/or C++ to implement their solution, and HIL rigs and vehicles to test them.
We think you know how products are developed, and that you are familiar with requirement development tools like DOORS or others, that you enjoy working in agile teams, that you know how to test your solution, and that you also have been yelled at by someone in a production plant at least once.
Most importantly is that you're hungry to learn new things, that you love a challenge and that you keep on going when things are busy.

In the Sapper SRE team, you will be responsible for the physical and logical connectivity when onboarding new customers, specifically establishing the network connectivity by connecting Sapper customers' IT/Telcom systems and infrastructure with Sappers’ CNaaS, which is running in a Hyperscale Cloud Provider, delivered as a SaaS offering.

Responsibilities:
Deploy on-premise and cloud infrastructure for our “as a service” customer's IT/Telcom systems and infrastructure.
Manage the scope, cost, and oversee the physical installation and configuration of hardware like routers, switches, or firewalls at customer locations.
Scope, procure, and facilitate the installation and configuration of hardware physically like routers, switches, or firewalls in each customer deployment together with professional installation partners and/or the customer’s teams

You will bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
10+ years of experience in traditional telecom networking including routers, firewalls, IP SEC, IP routing protocols and methods
10+ years of experience in hybrid-cloud technologies, architectures, networking, and cloud-based systems within the telecom industry.
Proven Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)in customer interfacing deployment and setup infrastructure with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service.
Additional expertise in:

- Leveraging Google Cloud, which enables access to Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks and Compute Engine virtual machine (VM) instances from on-premises networks or other cloud providers.
