Position Overview:
As a Hardware Electrical & Electronics Engineer B, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical and electronics components and systems for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of hardware components, contributing to the development of high-quality, reliable, and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test electrical and electronics hardware components and systems for a variety of projects.
Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical and electronics components.
Create and review electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams.
Select appropriate components and materials for hardware designs, considering cost, performance, and reliability.
Perform hardware troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Conduct electrical testing, verification, and validation to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source components and materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development throughout the entire lifecycle.
Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Document hardware designs, processes, and test results.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware electrical and electronics engineering or a related role.
Proficiency in electrical design software and tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Cadence).
Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and PCB layout.
Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
Experience with hardware testing equipment and measurement tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Vi söker nu förstärkning till vår teknikavdelning i södra Sverige och rekryterar därför en Kommunikationsingenjörer. Arbetet utförs i våra kunders anläggningar runt om i södra Sverige, tillexempel i högspänningsställverk, vilket gör att stationeringsorten för denna tjänsten är i antingen Trollhättan eller Göteborg. Tjänsten finns inom en av våra teknikavdelningar vars huvudsakliga uppgift är att erbjuda kvalificerade tjänster i elkraftsbranschen. Teknikavdelningarna sysselsätter idag ca 170 ingenjörer med specialistkompetens inom kommunikation, kontrollutrustning, optofiber m.m. I vår södra teknikavdelning finns 25 medarbetare. Gruppen präglas av ett stort tekniskt intresse och ansvarstagande. Säkerheten är alltid i fokus då vi arbetar i potentiellt farliga miljöer samt på höga höjder genom mast och stolp-klättring.
Din roll som Kommunikationsingenjör
Medverka vid förebyggande underhåll av kommunikationsutrustning
Medverka vid felavhjälpning av kommunikationsutrustning
Medverka vid projekt av om- och nybyggnation av kommunikationslösningar och säkerställa genomförandet av nya, löpande kommunikationsprojekt från "ax till limpa"
Vara med och ta fram design, inköp av material, implementation, installation och driftsättning
Hantera leverantörs- och entreprenörskontakter.

Resor ingår som en naturlig del av arbetet, mestadels över dagen men resor med övernattning förekommer. Arbetet utförs till ca 75% i fält, i kundernas anläggningar.


Kravspecifikation

Eftersom du kommer ha kontakt med både interna och externa kontakter söker vi dig som är serviceorienterad och tycker om att arbeta både på egen hand och i nära samarbete med kollegor.
Utöver dina personliga egenskaper ser vi gärna att du har:
En utbildning inom telekommunikation eller elkraft, alternativt motsvarande praktisk erfarenhet som arbetsgivaren bedömer likvärdig.
Några års erfarenhet av arbete inom telekommunikation eller elkraft alternativt har specialistkompetens.
Erfarenhet av att tidigare leda projekt eller arbete, gärna som projektledare. Alternativt har arbetat som koordinator inom branschen.
Erfarenhet av tekniker såsom SDH/PDH, optofiber, radio, IEC61850, IP-nätverk samt även erfarenhet inom fjärrkontroll- och kontrollutrustning, gärna med fjärrkontroller (RTU:er), är meriterande.
Branscherfarenhet är meriterande.

Du har lätt för att uttrycka dig på både svenska och engelska i skrift och tal. Körkort B är ett krav. Eftersom höjdarbete via mast- och stolpklättring förekommer är det viktigt att du inte är höjdrädd.

Kvalifikationer

As a key member of Ericsson's Sapper Operational team, the Operations Strategy and Customer Experience Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of BCSS's evolved cloud-native portfolio as well as exploring new ways of building and delivering solutions, including enabling cloud native “as a Service” offerings.

What you will do
In the Sapper SRE team, you will be responsible for the physical and logical connectivity when onboarding new customers, specifically establishing the network connectivity by connecting Sapper customers' IT/Telcom systems and infrastructure with Sappers’ CNaaS, which is running in a Hyperscale Cloud Provider, delivered as a SaaS offering.
This role demands a good understanding of both on-premises and cloud hardware, such as network switches and routers and cloud technologies, guaranteeing seamless security, data protection and reliability from end-to-end deployment and delivery perspective. In a fast-changing innovative environment, with a DevSecOps/Service Reliability Engineering mindset, you will find fulfillment in successfully implementing new cloud-native services and delighting new customers’ by making it very easy for them.

Responsibilities:
Deploy on-premise and cloud infrastructure for our “as a service” customer's IT/Telcom systems and infrastructure.
Manage the scope, cost, and oversee the physical installation and configuration of hardware like routers, switches, or firewalls at customer locations.
Scope, procure, and facilitate the installation and configuration of hardware physically like routers, switches, or firewalls in each customer deployment together with professional installation partners and/or the customer’s teams
Test and validate installations for proper functionality before training and going live.
Collaborate cross-functionally both internally and externally to drive network installation and configuration to successful completion.
Efficiently manage multiple external vendors such and stakeholders to meet implementation requirements within specified timelines.
Guide key stakeholders through the implementation lifecycle to ensure the successful deployment of our Sapper CNaaS.
Proactively identify implementation risks and implement efficient mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.
Help identify areas where the team can build in automation, and powered by Big Data, Machine Learning (ML)/ AI, including Large Language Models, to convert manual steps to a Connectivity-as-a-Service offering.

You will bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
10+ years of experience in traditional telecom networking including routers, firewalls, IP SEC, IP routing protocols and methods
10+ years of experience in hybrid-cloud technologies, architectures, networking, and cloud-based systems within the telecom industry.
Proven Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)in customer interfacing deployment and setup infrastructure with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service.
Additional expertise in:

- Leveraging Google Cloud, which enables access to Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks and Compute Engine virtual machine (VM) instances from on-premises networks or other cloud providers.
- Connecting sites through a Network Connectivity Center hub located in the HCP locations.
- Utilizing HCP Workspace and supported APIs, facilitating access to specific products and services. - Interacting with CDN(content delivery network)(Cloudflare) providers, allowing the selection of supported content delivery providers with Direct Peering links to HCP’s edge network, enabling traffic routing from VPC networks.
- Identity as a Service (IDaaS) working knowledge for identity services and endpoint administration for HCP
Working, hands on knowledge of various firewalls and other cloud-managed security network architectures
Understanding and experience with the Application Landing Zones concept Internet-facing, Internet first, Cloud Native, and Zero Trust
Understanding and experience with Corporate Network Connectivity and firewalls setups
Understanding Cloudflare’s SSE & SASE Platform and Composable Zero Trust networking with a connectivity cloud (Global Identity Aware Proxy)
