Responsibilities
As a Product Quality Leader (PQL) for engine aftertreatment systems (EATS) you will lead the work within the issue detection and pre-study area. You will use several different sources of information, i.e., quality reports, telematics, warranty, our dealer network to identify which are the issues that are affecting our customers the most and you will help to prioritize them, perform pre-investigations, and secure that appropriate corrective actions are taken together with the Product Owners. Your proactive approach will ensure timely mitigation measures, preventing customer dissatisfaction before it even arises.

Qualifications
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent technical university education
A proven track record of success in quality management, data analytics, and issue resolution
Expertise in data visualization and storytelling, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively
Experience in project management, demonstrating the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively
Familiarity with powertrain product development processes and product know-how
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, KOLA, IMPACT, ARGUS, EDB, VDB, VDA, LVD, UCHP, CPI QAST, and PowerBI.

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for our client within the automotive industry.
Work Description:
You will work on customer site and perform quality assurance activities with the supplier in order to secure parts/services according to the agreed specification. You will be responsible for evaluations and take decisions on when when a supplier is approved and can start its deliveries. It's of great importance to set the quality standards and to continuously improve the supplier base and the quality of purchased parts/services.
The SQE has the responsibility to secure that supplier is managing the quality according to the expected level from the start to the end of a part life cycle.
Some of these activities will take place at the supplier locations or in the production plants. This will require frequent travelling and that the consultant takes a leading position, driving for results.
As Supplier Quality Engineer you need to:
- Actively share Supplier Quality inputs in new business sourcing

In this role, your main responsibility will be to perform quality assurance activities at the client's suppliers with the objective to ensure that provided raw materials/services, designed/manufactured goods, and packaging materials meet or exceed requirements, including:

Verifying and validating that suppliers and/or subcontractors have received engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements.
Reviewing and analyzing corrective action reports to reduce/eliminate defects. May perform deviation investigations into quality issues. Decide when a supplier is approved and allowed to start shipping parts to Volvo plants.
Managing large projects or (end-to-end) processes with limited oversight from the manager.
Coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
A university education in industrial economics, quality and operations management, mechanical engineering, product development, or an equivalent technical field. Or:
An extensive experience and strong performance within Software Quality Assurance, that can substitute for an academic degree.
Previous xperience in Software Quality Assurance or with Supplier Quality Assurance, preferably in the automotive industry.
Are fluent in English both spoken and written because the language is spoken internally/externally.

The Role

In this role, you will play a critical part throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception through to production. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the APQP process within cross-functional engineering teams and ensuring that all project deliverables meet customer product requirements and comply with relevant legislation.

Main tasks:

Running the APQP process in cross-functional engineering teams to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
Planning and executing activities necessary to meet PPAP requirements, including MSA and capability studies.
Defining and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in the production environment, focusing on technical cleanliness, traceability, and compliance with industry standards.

Experience and Competencies

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Engineering and has significant experience in quality management within a production environment. You should have knowledge of technical cleanliness standards according to VDA 19 and be familiar with Quality Management Systems (QMS) as per ISO9001 and/or IATF 16949. Proficiency in the APQP and PPAP processes in line with AIAG standards, as well as a solid understanding of Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), equipment calibration, and statistical process control, is essential. You should also have expertise in problem-solving methods and tools, including 8D and Six Sigma (Green Belt level). Excellent English skills, both written and oral, are required. Experience with Minitab and Jira is preferred, and additional language skills, particularly Swedish, would be advantageous.

As a person, you are structured, organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills. You have the ability to solve complex problems under pressure and can efficiently sort and prioritize tasks.

Ansvarsområden
Arbete med implementering såväl som utveckling av dokumenthanteringsplan, löpande uppdatering, kartläggning och framställning och gallring.
Registrera och diarieföra handlingar. Dels utifrån det befintliga arbetssättet, Lotus Notes. Men också vara involverad i utvecklingen i och med införande av verksamhetssystem som utgör register och arkiv samt deltagande i lokalt införandeprojekt.
Vara involverad i förberedelsearbetet av införandet av Ciceron.


Kvalifikationer
högskoleutbildning arkivvetenskap 40p (60hp) eller likvärdig utbildning och minst ett (1) års
arbetslivserfarenhet från liknande arbete
erfarenhet av arbete med arkivfrågor i offentlig verksamhet
kunskaper i MS Office eller likvärdigt
kunskaper om dokument- och ärendehanteringssystem (exempelvis Public360, W3D3, Platina, Ciceron, Visual Arkiv)
kännedom om lagar och förordningar som styr offentlig verksamhet och arkivariers funktion och ansvar
kunskap i standarder inom arkivområdet.

Arbetsbeskrivning
I denna inköpsroll kommer du att leda och stötta tvärfunktionella affärsprojekt för inkommande komponenter till vår kunds strategiska elektroniska styrenheter (ECU). Du kommer att ansvara för relationen med våra halvledartillverkare, vilket innebär att arbeta med partnerskap, nya samarbetsmodeller och direkta förhandlingar. Detta inkluderar förberedelse, genomförande, analys, förhandling, leverantörsurval och kontraktshantering. Du kommer att stötta, utveckla och implementera leverantörsstrategier samt skapa och upprätthålla kommersiella relationer med leverantörer och intressenter. Du kommer att arbeta nära ingenjörsavdelningen för att säkerställa att affärsstrategin är i linje med den tekniska strategin. Du trivs med att arbeta proaktivt för att förstå dina stakeholders, marknaden, leveransbas och potentiella innovationer, samt att hitta sätt att öka värdet, inklusive kostnad, kvalitet och hållbarhet.
