In the Recovery and Energy Service Technology unit, we provide sustainable energy generation and recovery solutions.

As the Manager of Recovery Special Products, you will be at the forefront of creating, developing, and implementing the Recovery and Energy Service technology strategy by leading the development of the service offering. Your focus in Recovery business development will be on special products such as Liqourspray station, RoddingMaster, Smeltspout Robot, and smelt spouts.
Working closely with colleagues in a direct and matrix organization, you will drive long-term growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of highly skilled product and process experts and report to the Head of the Technology Unit.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Driving business development in recovery boiler and special products.
Leading a global team of experts for special products.
Developing, implementing, and governing the technology growth strategy.
Enhancing the competencies and skills of the direct and matrix team.
Researching and developing new ideas, concepts, products, and services.
Developing a cost-competitive offering and managing the product portfolio globally.
Providing sales and operational support in launches and project deliveries.

Participating in acquisition proposals and strategic investment.
In this role, you will have a key role in implementing our technology strategy.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
An understanding of the recovery and energy business.
Business acumen and the ability to deliver results under pressure.
The ability to succeed in an international matrix environment.
Effective written and oral communication skills in English, along with strong presentation and analytical skills.
A proven track record in managing growth and profitability.
Leadership experience in a managerial role with a history of achieving results both individually and as a team.
The willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Ansvar för inre underhåll på Kappahls distributions – och logistikanläggning: drift, förvaltning samt utveckling av samtliga produktionssystem ur ett helhetsperspektiv.

Planera, leda och fördela arbetet i underhållsteamet.

Ansvarig för planering och utförande av förebyggande och akut underhåll samt aktivt deltaga i underhållsarbetet och felsökning.

About the role

About the team

Beyond project deliveries, this team also serves as a central coordination point for the department — bringing structure, clarity, and direction to both ongoing work and future initiatives.

We are looking for Engineers to our EI&C-department (Electrification, Instrumentation & Controls) in the Pulp and Energy business unit. This unit designs and delivers equipment’s for Pulp mills, energy producers and other industries (e.g. Marine) worldwide. Our deliveries include electrification, instrumentation, and process control in connection to the total Valmet scope.


Responsibilities
As an Engineer, EI&C you will work with the project from start to finish. You oversee the technical solution to meet customer standards and expectations. Additional responsibilities include following the quality of work, schedule, and budget in your area. You will work closely with the Valmet project team, customer, and supplier, to coordinate the engineering work and ensure a unified outcome. You will work with more than one project at the time.
Your tasks will also include making technical plans, technical decisions, and EI&C related documents, providing information to purchasing. One of your main tools will be the customer contract, which will help you manage our delivery of the project.
You’ll be working in a global environment and be responsible for the technical solution that we deliver worldwide. Our team works closely together with other teams and locations in Valmet’s organization, and you’ll have many international contacts. The work location is one of our major locations in Sweden, Sundsvall or Gothenburg. The roles are permanent.


Requirements
We are looking for either junior or more experienced professionals with willingness to grow and develop with Valmet. As the area of expertise is quite vast, you will need the interest and ability to learn more, but also to accept your shortcomings and find the answers elsewhere. To be successful in this role, you will need:


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a suitable field
Experience in instrumentation or electrification
Industrial background
Automatic control engineering
Proactive, good communication skills with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional design team
Prioritization skills are a must, and you are able to focus on your work independently and make informed decisions
Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy
Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
Willingness to travel occasionally

We are now looking for a Project Planner / Engineer to our Energy, Recovery and Environmental (ERE) Service team in Gothenburg.
Valmet ERE Service team in Gothenburg specialize in rebuilds, maintenance, services and solutions for existing power and recovery boilers. We are also working with evaporation plants, lime kilns and flue gas cleaning. The projects range in value from 0.2 to 5 MEUR and are typically completed within 6-12 months. Our services help our clients shape a more sustainable world.
As a Project Planner/Engineer, your main task is to be responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure our projects stay on track. You will work closely with project managers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and up-to-date schedule information, helping to identify potential delays and risks. In our large multi-disciplinary projects, you will support responsible senior project manager with technical coordination of engineering activities, purchases etc. You will also have the possibility to independently execute smaller projects and service agreements.
In your role you will:
Work as part of the project team and in close communication with project managers to ensure delivery project progress is maintained.
Create and manage detailed project schedules by using tools such as MS Project or similar software.
Assist project managers in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Execute smaller projects and service agreements, ensuring their successful completion.
Support Sales by providing simplified delivery schedules including main milestones that creates frame for the delivery project



Expectations:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Previous experience in project scheduling or project management roles, preferably from pulp & paper, energy or process industry
Experience in project management, business, or operations development roles
Analytical, statistical and IT skills
Proficiency of using MS Project, Safran, Excel, PowerBI are an asset
Good communication and problem solving skills.
Proactive, flexible and self-driven; taking own initiative to find solutions and acquire information.
Fluency in Swedish & English, both written and oral; other languages?are?an asset.
Degree (BSc or MSc) in engineering, manufacturing, project management or a related field.

Requirements
We are looking for a strong team player who appreciates co-operation with people from different backgrounds and functions inside and outside of the company. If you have experience from leading others in a technical situation or in a managing position, we see that as a merit. You have a strong drive for reaching set goals, are service-minded and have a “we can do” attitude. In addition, we require:
Educational background: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Minimum 10 years of experience from strength analysis of machines, tanks, pressure vessels and components.
Knowledge from pulp industries, and it is an advantage if you have knowledge of the specific equipment that we have in our scope of supply.
Good knowledge of piping analysis is preferred.
Experience of CFD can be a merit.
Experience in using tools such as PV Elite, Ansys, Solid Works and office applications.
Fluent written and verbal English and Swedish skills.
