To make this a success:
The Director Electric Motor Design holds a senior role that significantly impacts organizational, strategic, conceptual, and primary deliveries. This role encompasses overseeing Electric Motor Design-related activities, including requirement analysis, system requirements, hardware (HW) design and development, and test case definition. You'll lead the crafting of Electric Motor Design strategies and guidelines, ensuring the quality and safety of components, and play a key role in shaping the technical roadmap and propulsion engineering portfolio.

Your deep understanding of complete technical solutions, market experience, stakeholder management abilities in the automotive industry, and proficiency in processes and deliverables, coupled with your ability to take action, will enable you to successfully lead your team and elevate the Propulsion Engineering function in Electromobility to the next level.
What to bring:
•    Extensive experience within Electric Motor Design and technical governance for complex automotive systems, you bring true engineering competence in the area.
•    Solid experience in complete Electric Propulsion systems.  
•    Solid experience in the full industrialization chain of Automotive products. 
•    Former experience in a senior line managerial role preferably within automotive industry (leading leader level)
•    Demonstrated ability to balance a strategic, holistic end-to-end (E2E) view with operational considerations.
•    Engineering education, minimum a MSc. A relevant PhD can be beneficial.  

Work location is in Gothenburg at the Group Trucks Technology HQ.

Som enhetschef har du ett helhetsansvar för verksamhet, ekonomi, personal och arbetsmiljö. Du är en aktiv medlem i ledningsgruppen och har en central roll i både det strategiska och operativa arbetet. Verksamheten spänner över flera komplexa och viktiga områden, såsom föräldrastöd, våld i nära relationer, missbruk, kriminalitet och skolsociala utmaningar. För att möta dessa behov finns en personalgrupp bestående av en socialadministratör, två förste socialsekreterare, en familjerättssekreterare samt fjorton socialsekreterare. Till stöd i det dagliga arbetet finns även en arbetsledare som ansvarar för den operativa arbetsledningen. Du rapporterar direkt till verksamhetschefen. 

Vem är du?

Vi ser att du ska uppfylla följande;

• Socionomexamen eller annan högskoleexamen som vi som beställare bedömer likvärdig.
• God chefserfarenhet i myndighetsutövning i barnavårdsärenden
• Kompetens och erfarenhet av förändringsledning

Social hållbarhet och stadsutveckling är gemensamma utvecklingsområden för Göteborgs Stad, så även för idrotts- och föreningsförvaltningen. En ledstjärna i förvaltningens arbete med ledning och styrning är att öka invånarnas förutsättningar till god folkhälsa, meningsfylld fritid och god tillgång till idrottsanläggningar. Förvaltningens anläggningar ska både planeras från tidigt skede, byggas, finansieras, nyttjas och driftas så effektivt och flexibelt som möjligt.

Vi söker nu en avdelningschef för avdelning Fastighet & Stadsutveckling då nuvarande chef går i pension. Rollen som avdelningschef innebär att ur ett helhetsperspektiv styra, utveckla och säkra arbetet inom avdelningens uppdrag samt bidra i förvaltningens styrning och verksamhetsutveckling. I ansvaret ingår att främja folkhälsan genom att ta fram underlag för nämndens och förvaltningens strategiska beslut om anläggningsutveckling. Aktivt bidra till stadens strategiska arbete med stadsutveckling i såväl förvaltningens befintliga idrottsområden som i helt nya områden. I rollen ingår också att planera, projektera, uppföra och möjliggöra driftsättningen av nya anläggningar i enlighet med förvaltningens investeringsprocess. Avdelningen ansvarar för reinvesteringar och det långsiktiga underhållet av förvaltningens anläggningar. Du leder verksamheten och utvecklar uppdrag i linje med Göteborgs stads målsättningar, till exempel en mer jämlik stad, attraktiv stad och stadens klimat och miljömål. Du har ett övergripande personal- och budgetansvar. Avdelningen är organiserad i två enheter: Fastighet och Stadsutveckling. Enheten Stadsutveckling har en enhetschef som rapporterar till dig som Avdelningschef. Enhet Fastighet är du som avdelningschef ansvarig för med 11 direkt rapporterande. Avdelningen består totalt av 18 medarbetare. Du är direkt underställd förvaltningsdirektören och ingår i förvaltningsledningen.

Vi söker dig som ta ansvar för det spännande uppdraget att leda arbetet med att ansvara för planeringen och byggnationen av ekonomiskt, ekologiskt och socialt hållbara anläggningar. Göteborgs Stad har höga ambitioner och planerar de närmsta 10 åren stora investeringar i idrottsanläggningar.

Kvalifikationer

Vi söker dig som har universitets- och/eller högskoleutbildning inom exempelvis ekonomi, juridik, arkitektur, landskapsarkitektur, byggingenjör eller annan liknande utbildning som arbetsgivaren bedömer som likvärdig. Du har flerårig erfarenhet av att arbeta i ledande befattningar där du har varit chef för andra chefer och lett och styrt egen ledningsgrupp samt har haft fullt verksamhet-, budget- och personalansvar. Det är viktigt att du har en förståelse för helheten i projekt och kan hantera balansen mellan mjuka och hårda värden. Ditt arbete kan omfatta allt från sociala aspekter inom stadsutveckling till praktisk byggnation.

Kunskaper inom investeringsekonomi är också centrala för denna roll, eftersom de kommer att vara avgörande för att fatta välgrundade beslut och optimera projektens lönsamhet. Du bör ha erfarenhet av att planera och genomföra investeringar i byggprojekt, gärna med insikt i hela processen från tidigt skede till färdigställande. Vi ser med fördel att du tidigare arbetat inom fastighetsförvaltning eller med närliggande frågor.

Du har ett starkt intresse för stadsutveckling samt för att skapa hållbara processer och projekt där avdelningens olika kompetenser tillvaratas på bästa sätt. Du är en erfaren ledare där samarbete och framdrift är viktigt för dig och du har alltid hela organisationens bästa i fokus. Du leder en avdelning med bred samlad kompetens.

What you will do
As a Project and Commodity buyer (/senior buyer) you will be accountable for the purchasing activities within Braking Systems commodity. As Digital & IT Partnership Principal, you will be key in our digital transformation, driving the cultural and knowledge shift of the entire Volvo Group in becoming a digital first company.
You will be a member of the Digital & IT Partnership team within the Strategy & Digital Transformation function and report to Vice President, Head of Partnership. You will have the opportunity to work with several of the areas within our function and especially related to strategy and external collaborations..

As IT Security and Risk Officer you will identify, assess, and mitigates information security risks within an organization.?You play a crucial role in safeguarding an organization's information systems and data by establishing policies, monitoring compliance, and implementing risk management strategies.

Capability Building & Change Enablement

Lead the development and execution of enterprise security capability programs within GTT, ensuring the engagement and buy-in from senior management, aligning operations to security directives, policies and guidelines.


Facilitate cross-functional forums (e.g., Security Workgroups with business representatives) to drive collaboration, knowledge-sharing and business-aligned requirements gathering to further strengthen and enable desired security behaviors.

Through strong technical leadership, we lead the development of complete vehicles for Volvo Trucks and are accountable for the complete vehicle integration in FH/FM/FMX and multi-brand product development. We are a high performing, professional team of integration managers, product structure specialists and vehicle architects who have product development as our home turf.


Key responsibilities:

A Vehicle Integration Manager is responsible from the program initiation to product launch and program 
•    Lead the Vehicle Program, ensuring the successful integration of epics related to FH/FM/FMX truck development.
•    Define milestones and high-level time plans in collaboration with Epic owners and cross-functional teams.
•    Synchronize vehicle-level activities across all departments to ensure a cohesive product development process.
•    Report progress and feature status to various internal committees and stakeholders.
•    Act as Epic Owner for key epics, ensuring their progress and on-time delivery.
•    As a team member, lead and contribute to harmonization and development of processes, methods, tools and standards.


Experience and Competence

As Lead Vehicle Integration Manager, you are expected to have a strong business mind-set as well as a solid background in hardware development and project management within an agile environment or experience in a Waterfall methodology setting. A strong technical foundation in hardware, specifically within cab, chassis, electrical systems, and eMobility installations, is crucial. 
Additional, you have previous experience as a project manager within automotive product development. You need to be an inspiring leader and have a positive mind-set. You have a strong drive and energy level and are able to communicate and provide a clear direction for the team. You see challenges as inspiring and have a high level of integrity and easily build trust.

Qualifications:
•    Engineering degree (BSc or MSc)
•    PMP and/or SAFE certification or equivalent project management certification is highly valued.
•    Many years of experience leading complex product development projects or Epics as Project Manager, Epic owner or similar
•    Extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience in hardware design, cab, chassis, electrical systems, and eMobility installation and/or Powertrain installation is a very strong merit.  
•    Knowledge about Truck application and customer usage.
•    Background from automotive product development is a strong merit. 
•    Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide clear guidance and build trust within your team.
•    Fluent in English.

The PE Sweden organization is having the full responsibility for Platform Center Heavy-Duty Engines, Transmissions, as well as Application Center Heavy-Duty Europe. We take the product ownership role and optimize complete powertrain systems through the usage of components tailored for each application.
We develop Internal Combustion Engines, transmissions and software products for both Electric and Conventional drivelines. Together with our colleagues around the world we take full system responsibility from cradle-to-grave.

The Complete Powertrain department is the cross functional range function at Powertrain, responsible for integration of system and components into a complete HD product delivery. We are responsible for the evolution of our products and services. We take product ownership by being the glue between the technology sections at PE SWE.

What will you do?

As Director for Complete Powertrain, you will be responsible for driving the development, delivery, and operational excellence of the HD Complete Powertrain products. Your key responsibilities include:

•    Acting as the Product Owner for the Heavy-Duty (HD) Complete Powertrain Products, ensuring alignment with customer and business needs.
•    Leading the HDP Project Management Office, ensuring effective project execution and delivery.
•    Driving cross-functional collaboration across GTX to support the full HDP portfolio, fostering strong alignment and teamwork.
•    Owning the complete software delivery for all HDP products, securing quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
•    Leading simulation, data analysis, and system validation at the Complete Powertrain level, ensuring products meet technical and operational requirements.
•    Overseeing vehicle calibration and managing truck fleet operations for HDP products, ensuring optimal performance and operational efficiency.
•    Managing the HDP Maintenance Portfolio, including responsibility for the associated budget and resource allocation.
•    Coordinating the global community of Complete Powertrain Directors, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across regions.
•    Securing invoiced business with UD Trucks, Volvo Penta, and Volvo Construction Equipment, while improving test planning KPIs
•    Supporting the PE Sustainability Plan and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) efforts, ensuring employees are engaged with and informed about PE Sweden’s performance and transformation initiatives.
