You will be part of the Safety, Quality & Regulations function management team and report directly to VP Safety, Quality & Regulations.
To make this a success:
The Director Legal & Regulations will ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all Electromobility deliveries. You will provide strategic guidance and support to ensure compliance with Volvo internal policies, applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will support translations from standards to requirements, guide internal audits & processes, negotiate contracts, and contribute to external forums.

Your proactive approach to identify and address compliance-related risks will be instrumental in safeguarding our deliveries and to position us for continued success.

Your extensive experience of legal and regulatory frameworks in the automotive industry, will enable you to successfully lead your team and to elevate Electromobility as an organization.

Din profil och kvalifikationer

Vi söker dig som kombinerar ett starkt strategiskt tänkande med gedigen ledarerfarenhet. Du är trygg i beslutsfattande roller och har lätt för att kommunicera och skapa förtroende på alla nivåer i organisationen.
Vi ser att du har:

-     Akademisk examen med relevant inriktning samt grundläggande ekonomiutbildning

-     Flerårig dokumenterad erfarenhet av att leda och utveckla IT-verksamhet på koncernnivå eller motsvarande

What you will bring


Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering & Management, or similar

What you will bring

Your responsibility and main tasks 
Your responsibility will be to initiate, coordinate, take the lead on and drive the continuous improvement, development and implementation of Volvo Trucks’ dealer Purchase and Sales Processes, Systems and Competences with the aim to improve the Sales Effectiveness of Volvo Trucks’ Sales Areas, Markets and Dealers.

As a Business Process Manager Purchase, Sales & CRM, you will be part of the Sales Process Management Team in the Volvo Trucks European Regional Value Chain and report directly to the Director Sales Process Management.

Who are you?
To succeed in this position, we believe you need to have excellent analytical, coordinative and organizational skills and a proven track record in Business Process Development, Project Management and Change Management, preferably in an international environment.
You have a deep understanding of purchase, sales and financial/accounting processes, preferably in the automotive industry.
You are curious, open-minded and creative in finding the optimum solution and approach.
You have a holistic view, but also able to zoom in on details and break-down strategic objectives into business requirements and actionable plans.

About our team

Volvo Group IP is handling intellectual property matters for the complete Volvo Group, working in a business integrated and strategical setup with a constant proactive approach. We are located in Sweden, France, USA, South Korea, India and Brazil. Organizationally we are part of Volvo Group Trucks Technology, led by the Volvo Group Chief Technology Officer. Our four teams; Patents, IP Strategy & Portfolio, IP Legal, Trademarks & Designs, and IP Business Office; are taking care of the complete life cycle of patents, trademarks and designs, supporting and advising in strategical partnerships, licensing and other agreements, drive work in enforcement and defense matters and handle IP risk assessments. As VP Patents you will be a member of our Volvo Group IP management team, consisting of three additional Vice Presidents and led by SVP Legal & Group IP, closely working together in a collaborative, supportive and transparent way. In your role you are expected to drive and suggest synergies in department activities and steps needed for the department to continuously evolve and develop.
You will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden, in a dynamic office environment close to Volvo Group colleagues and leadership.
To summarize, your role will include:
•    Leading and developing a global team of patent attorneys including a manager.
