Tuve is the introduction plant for Volvo HD Trucks, where products meet industrial process for the first time. We are transforming the plant into the future to meet the high ambition on sustainable solutions we have within the group! Digitalization is one of our enablers of our GTO strategy and the journey has just started.
As Digital & IT Director, you will lead the digital transformation of our factory while securing strong IT foundations to support our day-to-day operations. You will have a key role in building a digitalization culture, promoting curiosity, teamwork, and competences development. This role requires a collaborative and inspiring leader who can navigate in complex environments and drive change effectively.
You will report to the VP Operations Tuve and be part of the plant’s management team, a true 
x-functional team where the E2E delivery always goes first. 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Lead a cross-functional team composed of own employees and Group D⁢ colleagues.
•    Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for digitalization, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
•    Secure the robustness and continuous enhancement of our IT solutions landscape. 
•    Collaborate with business functions to integrate digital solutions to improve our performance.
•    Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
•    Manage the IT costs and investment for the plant.
•    Secure and enhance cybersecurity with a specific focus on OT systems.

Key Responsibilities
Leading and executing the PLM strategy while supporting the global PLM community.

Working across various business areas and representing PLM.

Requirements

Extensive experience (+10 years) working with PLM systems (PTC Windchill), preferably in a senior PLM role.
Strong understanding of PLM concepts, hands-on experience with PLM services, and proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle.
Proven ability to manage teams and lead PLM services.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

About the role
This is a unique opportunity to take a key role in driving the strategies for the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle program, to optimize performance, efficiency, and sustainability across multiple technologies and global markets. You’ll be at the forefront of strategic product development.
As the Range Director FCEV, you will drive the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle program and the go-to market strategies. You will be part of the GTO Produce & Maintain Management Team, together with 5 other Digital Product Area Owners and you will report directly to Head of GTO Produce & Maintain. GTO Produce & Maintain is a portfolio of global core digital products supporting the business processes of Manufacturing Execution, Plant Maintenance, Performance Management and Quality. You are part of a global management team and you will actively collaborate with stakeholders in many different countries and navigate in a multi-cultural environment. What you will do

Treasury Control & Compliance (TCC) is a function within Volvo Group Treasury, responsible for Business Control, Risk Control and Compliance. What you will do


Cab Engineering is responsible for developing advanced new cabs for our future Volvo Heavy Duty trucks.

Our team's responsibility covers End User Functionality for Passive Safety, Visibility and Comfort related functionality globally. You have experience of user-centric development and have a genuine interest in traffic safety. * Document the EUF solution in the System Description

* Be receiver of and address issues in the distributed solution for the EUF System (quality reports etc.) 


Profile:

•    M Sc or equivalent.
•    8+ years of experience within Passive Safety work in the automotive industry.
