What you'll do
In Polestar’s global Procurement team, you will have the responsibility of driving the work of securing short and long-term sourcing strategies, negotiate on different types of categories, contract and identify new suppliers/technologies, and develop existing supplier relationships within areas like Digital, Marketing, R&D, Design and other corporate functions. Contributing to maximizing the full value of the company.
As a Category Manager for Corporate & Professional Services you will have the responsibility to lead your team to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish strategic relationships with our suppliers. In addition to coach the team to succeed in sustainable business relations, TCO and TVO -guidance and represent Procurement in new business development initiatives.
The main subcategories within Corporate and Professional Services are:
Human Capitals, including consultants
Facility Management
R&D services
General services, including legal, audit, financial, HR etc.

This role will report to Head of Global Indirect Procurement and is located at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Your main tasks will include:
Co create Career and Competence Development Plan with your Team and follow up the progress.
Collaborate and be early involved with stakeholders to develop the supplier base to meet business needs
Accountable for end-to-end deliveries of the category team including Strategy, Sourcing and contract negotiations
Accountable for Category Business Plan for dedicated Commodities
Coach your team for achieving sustainability goals, total cost of ownership (TCO), quality, on time delivery, and project objectives
Participate in BRMs (Business Review Meetings) with key business partners and suppliers

We're currently looking for a Pre-Owned and Whole Life Costs Manager to join our Global Fleet Sales team in order to support the Polestar pre-owned programme, whole life costs and residual value reporting, provide market support and maintain process documentation. This position can operate on a remote basis, located in one of our European Markets.
The responsibilities
In this role, you'll be expected to drive the regular assessment of Polestar vehicle costs throughout their lifecycle, including purchase, financing, service, maintenance and repair, insurance, fuel, and depreciation. You will work with a number of HQ functions such as Global Fleet Sales, EMEA & ROW sales, digital, finance, legal, product, brand and marketing. The position will also interface with stakeholders in our markets as well as external stakeholders such as leasing companies, RV setters and influencers.

Carry out analysis relating to current and future residual value trends in key markets, including trend analysis relating to Polestar’s and its competitors’ products.

Build and maintain a Polestar pre-owned onboarding process for our new investor partners.

Managing Polestar’s data provider, residual value and TCO tools and the provision of car to market studies.
Support the organisation of whole life cost events.

The ideal candidate

What you’ll do:
The Polestar Software Integration and Test team is responsible for the design and development of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) rigs ,box cars and the software testing of Electronic Control Units (ECUs). As a Verification & Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing HIL rigs. Collaborating with your colleagues, you will perform HIL development and testing activities, establishing the necessary processes and workflows. Your duties will include setting up processes, defining ways of working, executing tests, and analysing results to ensure the highest quality and performance of our ECUs
Your responsibilities will be:
Design and develop automated test scripts and tools for test rigs
Collaborate with development teams to Design and Construct HILs according to needs
Support our internal customers in a way that makes HIL usage effective and successful.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the HIL infrastructure.
Propose solutions as well as bring support to define requirements to the present and future in the growing area of HIL.
Work with team to maintain and improve the automated testing infrastructure.
Maintain and improve the testing infrastructure with regards to simulations and plant models.
Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in test automation and HIL development.

Who you are

Currently the team is focused on development of a high-end infotainment system for the latest model of Polestar, which is not yet on the market. This position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. In this role, this candidate will be expected to develop and modify Android-based applications and services for automotive platforms. Experience in working with signals related to Flexray, SomeIP, IPCP, etc.
Hands-on experience in integrating Android apps and framework layer with platform; troubleshooting any miscommunication of interfaces and signals.

What you'll do
You will lead a team of professional specialists within the functional areas of corporate finance, business development, risk analysis and control, cash and transaction management, funding operations, FX, working capital financing solutions and treasury digital development.
The responsibilities in the team also include financial policy adherence, risk management (including hedging) and reporting, customer payment solutions, insurance and bank contacts.
The team works as a strategic advisor for the Business Units, supporting decisions relating to working capital financing solutions and structuring.
The team is application owner of treasury related systems and drives the strategy for digitalization and automation within treasury.
In this position you will also have a responsibility for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, propose and maintain risk policies and other documents governing the treasury, corporate finance and business development activities, conduct compliance due diligence on banks and drive negotiations of ISDA and similar agreements.
Report to CFO and support with board and management presentations.
Continue to build a robust capital structure for Polestar and develop long term strategic objectives and targets for Finance.
As a part of the Finance management team you will lead and develop the Treasury, Corporate Finance & Business development unit to support the growth targets of the Polestar Group.

Who you are
Proven leadership experience
10-15 years of extensive and relevant work experience from a Finance/Treasury/Corporate Financedepartment at an international company, potentially combined with experience from a financial institution or consultancy firm
Proven experience with Corporate Finance, FX, Capital Markets, and Financial Risk management
Broad knowledge and experience of Treasury processes and systems
Good comprehension and experience of Cash Management and Trade Finance products.
It is meritorious if youhave worked with or in China
University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering or equivalent

On a personal level you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You have a proactive approach and good overview capability as well as detail orientation. You have high integrity and feel comfortable with controls, risk and policies. You are a natural leader with a focus on developing and coaching others. For this position it is also essential that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

This position is located at our HQ, in Gothenburg.

What youll do
Oversee and execute theglobalphysical inventory counting process for cars
Act as the liaison between Group/Local Accounting, Digital Finance, and Commercial Control/Sales Operations to enhance inventory reporting quality and ensure SOX compliance
Generate and present inventory-related financial reports, including inventory valuation, NRV adjustments, and profitability analysis
Identify and implement best practices for inventory counting and valuation processesacross regions and markets
Keep control over inventories (Central stock/Market stock and pipeline) Set rules between Sales trend and production to have fast delivery times but not too high capital tied up.
Forecast financial stock (New/Used/Internal) Cars
Setup KPI within the Volume and working capital area.
Work with the profitability in the order book, Visualizes and steer markets
Provide backup for volume control and perform additional analyses as needed.

Who you are

Have good communications and project management skills as this job needs constantly interaction with local entities.
Problem solving; aptitude for identifying and addressing discrepancies, process inefficiencies, and valuation issues.
Business acumenin operational and financial processes within the commercial area.
Constantly look for a more efficient ways of working to make the collaboration fast and the processes reliable.

The responsibilities Propulsion System Controls team, within our Software department, is a team with a mission to deliver results which exceed the customers’ expectations. You will be a part of a small but experienced team that handles all aspects of Propulsion control systems. We have complete responsibility for the software development but are also involved daily in cross functional system work together with other teams and suppliers. You will be working with experienced teams that design, develop and tune the complete chain of embedded software from the driver’s inputs to final motor and brake torque. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:
Act as the main engineering customer interface in all questions related to Base Software for the propulsion ECU
Participate in the cross functional system work including the definition of Software component architecture and associated interfaces
Participate in the System Design/Architecture activities
Ownership of the propulsion ECU BaseTech

Previous experience with Geely/Zeekr platforms highly desirable
Experience with middleware
Understanding of UDS
Experience with SystemWeaver desirable
SW development lifecycle knowledge
Drivers license B
