Your daily tasks 

To keep the tool and information flow is part of your daily tasks, meaning that you need to stay up to date, adapt and re-build when other product changes affecting the integration to Kompass. 

Above this you will take part in business dialogue with the markets to understand and respond with technical assessment, advice and digital solutions when new business or legal demand, local as well as global, raise. 

In this exciting role you will be part of a small product team working in an agile environment with backlog prioritization and sprint planning with both internal and external people. You will take ownership and lead when operational disruptions occur and proactively identify enhancement opportunities in the products and drive end to end value in all processes.

You will be included in many contact areas and work closely with different stakeholders which requires you to be good at communication, interpersonal skills and have sound technical knowledge of market development and complexity. 

* Perform the development as per User Stories.
* Participation in backlog refinement (sizing and slicing), sprint planning, daily planning, retrospectives and continuously improve ways of working.
* Following coding best practices.
* Identify dependencies and risks to redue complexity, time, cost and increase performance of Kompass and the integration solutions.
* Ensure quality of the developed applications (code quality and deliverable quality).
* Provide detailed solution design and implementation plan for integrations following Volvo Car´s integration framework.
* Design, unit test and support user testing of integrations as well as releasing to production according to prescribed company processes.
* Ensure full product documentation in a common and shared file for future references. 
* Liase with Europe Digital’s Enterprise Architect on Kompass 2.0 Platform Architecture management activities and help with the technical and architectural decisions.
* Technical communication and facilitation of info sessions on technical strategies, latest development or changes of the product.
* Lead and drive technical management of the product, including access management, and compliance to Volvo cars standards and cybersecurity requirements. 
* Support with incident resolution when needed.


What you’ll bring

* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, related field, or equivalent work experience.
* Several years of experience in large digital organizations in an international environment.

* Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, compliant solutions.
* Proven success aligning integration strategies with organizational goals by seeing the big picture and solve problems. 
* Proficiency in integration documentation, monitoring, optimization, and issue resolution.
* Structured approach ensuring regulatory compliance and meeting business objectives
* Expertise in Azure cloud services (Logic Apps, API Management, Functions, Service Bus, Event Hub, etc.).
* Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
* Understanding of Azure PaaS and SaaS solutions
* Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, etc.)
* Good knowledge of Volvo Car’s digital ecosystem. 
* Kompass and/or Sales management tooling and business processes experience is positive. 
* Strong awareness of cultural diversity and flexibility to work in a multicultural environment.
* Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audience.

About us
Safety has always been one of Volvo Cars strongest core values. At Safety and Durability Lab, we perform tests in all phases on component, system, and vehicle level, to support our vision when it comes to safety. We support R&D with development-, correlation-, verification- and certification tests.

What you will do
As a Department Program Manager (DPM), you will be responsible for deliverables from the Safety Lab. This entails owning the backlog and the prioritization, utilization rate and delivery performance. It also includes to balance and develop the lab capability and capacity with the Engineering Manager, as well as to be responsible for the interface with stakeholders and other involved areas. You will be the driver of the long-term execution plan and support the teams when needed in short-term priorities and discussions with stakeholders.

Together with the teams within Safety Lab and your colleagues in the management team, you will develop and implement future strategies and investments needs for the labs. You will also continue to develop prerequisites for effective collaboration with Stakeholders as ARTs, attributes, and other areas, both internal and external Volvo Cars.

You will be part of the management team in the Safety and Durability Lab. We want to offer you the possibility to grow as a leader and there is a great foundation of leadership experience to rest against in the management team.

About you
We believe you have a Master’s degree in science or equivalent work experience. Experience from working in product development is meritorious for this position. Preferable, you have worked with Crash Safety and has good knowledge in testing rigs in this field.

You have a big interest in cars and technology. To be successful in balancing stakeholders needs to performed rig tests, good knowledge in testing rigs is vital. You are fluent in English and Swedish - both written and spoken. You have leadership experience as perhaps Engineering Manager, Product Owner, or Senior Engineer. You like to communicate and connect business sense with technology.
On a personal level, you have a genuine interest in both technology and leadership, and you don’t hesitate to challenge status quo. You are engaging and motivated with a genuine initiative and the ability to make things happen. You are an accessible leader who wants to support the Engineering Managers in the development of the technology capabilities and the teams, to assure we develop the right competence in line with long term technical strategies.

What we offer
Volvo Cars Torslanda is shifting production towards electrification and building a Battery Assembly plant. The Quality Department is now looking for a Quality Action Leader (QAL). This is a unique opportunity to be involved in influencing the construction of our new area of expertise and its quality organization from the ground up.

What you’ll do
You will be part of the project from the early phase where you are involved in developing the whole quality assurance process. During the pre-series, you will be a key person together with the Quality Department's QAS (Quality Analysis Support), when it comes to validation plans, control plans and standards, both in the factory and when it comes to the Pilot Plant construction in connection with the VP series.

As QAL, it is your role to initiate and implement measures to ensure the quality of our products and protect our customers. You and your skills
We see that you have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. You have documented knowledge and experience from problem solving in 8D, Six Sigma or equivalent. Six Sigma Black Belt is an advantage. 

You have the ability to work with large amounts of process parameters and perform correlation analyses that enable reduced process variation in assembly, automated processes and geometry. You have previous leadership experience and are fluent in English, both spoken and written. If you have good knowledge in Swedish, spoken and written, it’s an advantage.

To succeed in this role, you have the communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all functions within the existing organization. Furthermore, you have the ability to learn new things and work together with production, the Shop Engineering, Geometry and Engineering to achieve your customer's expectations.

The Global Sustainability Team are responsible for shaping the global sustainability strategy and guide its implementation, by focusing on cross-functional alignment and raising the ambition level in line with the decided strategy. We are also responsible for strengthening the internal governance and shape messaging towards relevant stakeholders.
Data and analytics drive sustainability insights in the Global Sustainability Team and across the organization. The Sustainability Data and Analytics Hub ensures the sustainability data and analytics are actionable, governed, scalable and integrated throughout the organization. You will be a key part of a high-performing team with a collaborative mindset, taking pride in what we do. About you
You have a data focused background with experience implementing data governance principles, defining common taxonomies and processes for data across different business units. You have worked in several cross-functional implementations and have great communication skills. You have experience from an equivalent role in a global company with similar complexity. Your ability to manage uncertainty and drive to get things done combined with your passion for sustainability, make you the ideal candidate for this role.

* You have solid experience harmonizing processes around data collection, analytics and governance across cross-functional teams assessing multiple stakeholder needs.
* You have excellent knowledge within data governance principles and standards and have previous professional experience implementing and maintaining data governance processes over time.
* You are familiar with sustainability framework such as the GHG protocol and CSRD.
* You have a relevant university degree at master’s level and previous experience from working in similar positions.
* You understand industry practice operational processes and methods (ITIL, DevOps or similar)
* You are a good communicator with full command of English (written and spoken)
* It is strongly meriting if you can work on-site at Volvo Cars headquarters in Gothenburg.

What you will do.
As the Data Governance Lead in the Sustainability Data and Analytics Hub you will work together with the sustainability team, other sustainability departments and the organization to:
Define and implement data governance principles and ways of working, procedures, common taxonomies, and standards to enable robust governance of sustainability data.

Concept Centre – Let’s introduce ourselves.
Concept Centre is part of the department Prototype Build & Verification responsible for Engineering & Operations prototype build and the verification environment. Our purpose is to fulfill Volvo Cars need of inhouse-developed prototypes for product development. We develop, create, and iterate interior design prototypes in concept phase to early test series. 

We are now looking for an Upholstery Developer to join our team, you’ll be a part of a small, engaged team within Paint shop & Upholstery where you have the opportunity to be a part of shaping the future. 

What you’ll do
As an Upholstery Developer, your responsibilities include collaborating with internal stakeholders to define task prerequisites and expected outcomes. You’ll create, visualize, and produce automotive interior upholstery concepts, develop interior conceptual trims and dress for early development and verification, and utilize CAD software for detailed interior component design. Collaborating with engineers to optimize prototype designs, iterating prototypes during testing phases, and implementing changes based on feedback are essential parts of this role. 

Additionally, you’ll contribute expertise during design development, assemble and mount interior prototypes in conceptual environments, and continuously improve efficiency, lead time, and cost using new technology and materials. Operating cutting machines, sewing machines, and SIPS machines will be part of your daily tasks.

What you’ll bring
We see that you have an education within Design Technology, Automotive Engineering, or related field, preferably a bachelor’s degree. If you have certification or training in automotive design and upholstery technology, it’s advantageous. You have professional experience as an upholstery technician and are comfortable with determining the right sewing techniques required for the work. As the job involves managing you own projects together with internal costumers you’ll need to have basic skills in project management with sufficient tools. 

Other than that, you’ll need to be proficient in CAD software (e.g. Lectra, Gerber) for automotive interior design and have in-depth knowledge of automotive textiles, materials, and upholstery techniques. You’ll need to understand vehicle interior ergonomics and safety regulations as well as have a strong attention to detail and aesthetic sense. Since we collaborate cross-functional you’ll need to have good knowledge in English and Swedish written and spoken.

The team is split into four sub-teams: Climate Action, Circular Economy, Responsible business and the Sustainability Data and Analytics Hub. We are working both closely together and with the sustainability teams in each function as well as the organization as a whole.

* You have previous experience developing data centric applications and setting up data pipelines.
