What you'll do
You will focus on our customer-related data which includes accessing raw data and transforming them into actionable insights. This includes responsibilities for tools and other external resources to establish a global scalable framework
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to define AI project requirements aligned with strategic business objectives
Conduct in-depth research to stay at the forefront of AI advancements, exploring opportunities to integrate predictive and generative AI models into our products and services
Predictive AI Modeling:
Formulate problem statements and hypotheses for diverse business challenges
Assemble, clean, and prepare data for effective model training
Develop, train, and evaluate predictive AI models using various algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) tailored to specific problems
Continuously refine and optimize models for performance, scalability, and efficiency
Deploy models into production environments and monitor their performance
Generative AI Modeling:
Explore and experiment with generative AI models, such as GPT, to identify opportunities where they can add value in applications like content creation, data augmentation, or design prototyping
Train and evaluate generative models, fine-tuning parameters for desired outputs
Integrate generative models into production workflows or applications.
Communicate insights and recommendations effectively:
Present findings clearly and concisely, translating technical concepts into business language
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement action plans based on AI-driven insights
Continuously learn and stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of AI, machine learning, and deep learning



Who you are
Bachelors/Master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience designing and developing high impact data science projects
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
Comfortable writing complex queries for data extraction and manipulation.
Proven experience with one of the cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Familiarity with foundational LLM (Large Language Models) Models such as GPT, Falcon, Llama, Mistral etc
Experience developing Generative AI based applications using RAG, vector databases, chain of thought, prompt engineering, fine-tuning and Knowledge graphs
Experience working with structured/unstructured data using popular machine learning libraries and frameworks such as scikit-learn, hugging face, TensorFlow etc
Ability to translate complex business problems into valuable insights

The opportunity
We're currently looking for a Pre-Owned and Whole Life Costs Manager to join our Global Fleet Sales team in order to support the Polestar pre-owned programme, whole life costs and residual value reporting, provide market support and maintain process documentation. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed.
This position can operate on a remote basis, located in one of our European Markets.
The responsibilities
In this role, you'll be expected to drive the regular assessment of Polestar vehicle costs throughout their lifecycle, including purchase, financing, service, maintenance and repair, insurance, fuel, and depreciation. You will work with a number of HQ functions such as Global Fleet Sales, EMEA & ROW sales, digital, finance, legal, product, brand and marketing. The position will also interface with stakeholders in our markets as well as external stakeholders such as leasing companies, RV setters and influencers.
See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:
Carry out analysis relating to current and future residual value trends in key markets, including trend analysis relating to Polestar’s and its competitors’ products.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve Polestar vehicle competitiveness.
Conduct ongoing analysis of global pre-owned automotive market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
Provide detailed reports and forecasts related to Polestar pre-owned vehicle sales performance, by developing and maintaining comprehensive sales and forecast reports and identifying growth opportunities.
Maintain and update Polestar pre-owned program documentation in Confluence, ensuring all process changes and updates are properly documented.
Build and maintain a Polestar pre-owned onboarding process for our new investor partners.
Resolve daily operational queries from market teams, providing solutions and best practice advice.
Managing Polestar’s data provider, residual value and TCO tools and the provision of car to market studies.
Support the organisation of whole life cost events.

The ideal candidate

What you’ll do:
The Polestar Software Integration and Test team is responsible for the design and development of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) rigs ,box cars and the software testing of Electronic Control Units (ECUs). As a Verification & Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing HIL rigs. Collaborating with your colleagues, you will perform HIL development and testing activities, establishing the necessary processes and workflows. Your duties will include setting up processes, defining ways of working, executing tests, and analysing results to ensure the highest quality and performance of our ECUs
Your responsibilities will be:
Design and develop automated test scripts and tools for test rigs
Collaborate with development teams to Design and Construct HILs according to needs
Support our internal customers in a way that makes HIL usage effective and successful.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the HIL infrastructure.
Propose solutions as well as bring support to define requirements to the present and future in the growing area of HIL.
Work with team to maintain and improve the automated testing infrastructure.
Maintain and improve the testing infrastructure with regards to simulations and plant models.
Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in test automation and HIL development.

Experience in Automotive communication protocols (CAN/Flex ray/Ethernet)
Experience with design and development of "Test Solutions"
Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The Infotainment Software team is a part of Connected Experience group in R&D and consists of specialists with broad expertise in Android Automotive OS. Currently the team is focused on development of a high-end infotainment system for the latest model of Polestar, which is not yet on the market. The responsibilities
In this role, this candidate will be expected to develop and modify Android-based applications and services for automotive platforms. Working as a member of the Infotainment Software team, the candidate will be instrumental in working closely with our supplier to ensure smooth integration of components developed by them.

Design and implementation of new features tailored to automotive requirements.
Identify and fix bugs in the applications, libraries, etc. ensuring reliability and stability.

Proficient in using development tools like Android Studio, Git, and GitHub.
Familiar or having experience with Vehicle Hardware Abstraction Layer (VHAL).
Familiar or having experience with Android Interface Definition Language (AIDL).
Experience in working with signals related to Flexray, SomeIP, IPCP, etc.
Hands-on experience in integrating Android apps and framework layer with platform; troubleshooting any miscommunication of interfaces and signals.

Broad knowledge and experience of Treasury processes and systems
