Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate production engineering processes daily.
• Create processes and procedures to help the company meet set targets within performance and quality quotas.
• Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.
• Develop process improvements to optimize production and secure availability.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-department meetings to ensure collaboration and needs.
• Develop standardized designs and work under existing regulations.
• Investigate problems, analyse root causes, and derive resolutions.
• Establish safety procedures and environmental regulations for production employees.
• Set-up new process(es) and participate in major process technical or productivity improvements as well as technology development to full production deployment.
• Works on defined problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Project lead process project from kick-off to hand over to Production, either several small size projects or one larger project of increasing complexity.
• Process Owner for a specific manufacturing domain.
• Focuses on at least one manufacturing discipline (e.g., manual assembly).
• Work with and provides mentorship to interns and lower-level Engineer.
Knowledge/experience:
• Experience with CAD programs and technical drawings.

THE ROLE
The ideal candidate will be for developing suspension components (Tuning and mechatronics ), and serve as a Lead engineer/component owner. AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Design and development of Tuning and mechatronics parts.

Responsible for leading the development and design of one or several components within the suspension system.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEGDE:
Experience in Catia and Teamcenter engineering
Automotive engineering focused on Tuning and mechatronics part in passenger car. Knowledge; Manufacturing knowledge; ESOW; Design pre-requisites preparation; DV/PV; APQP; Program management skills; Problem solving tools and methodology; Agile framework; FMEA; Automotive product development system
B.Sc./B.E. in Mechanical engineering, Automotive engineering or similar. M.Sc. is meritorious.
Knowledge and experience from the automotive industry specifically air hose and suspension system
Background within mechanical design, mechanical integration or similar at OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
Extensive experience of suspension systems in the automotive industry, preferably for passenger vehicles.
Strong communication skills. Should be comfortable to present information at different levels.
Familiar with the release process of hardware in the automotive industry.
Experience from working in an Agile environment is a plus.
Fluent spoken/written English, Swedish is a plus.
Preferable if he/she has Swedish Driver’s license.
Valid work permit valid for Sweden.

Scope of Role:
As a Technical Lead - Embedded Test Automation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest levels of project delivery within the Embedded Solutions division at Europe. Your primary focus will be on test automation and quality assurance for Key and upcoming accounts in the Europe Region, with a specific emphasis on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing. You will be responsible for analyzing Continuous Integration (CI) runs, debugging issues, automating test cases, and overseeing both manual and automated testing processes. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and Power BI Dashboards to visualize key metrics.
Responsibilities:
Product responsibility over a certain area. Good communication skills will be needed.
Analyze Continuous Integration (CI) runs and identify and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability and accuracy of testing processes.
Develop automated test scripts for the core rig, encompassing both HIL testing and continuous integration environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing solutions within the project development lifecycle.



Desired Skills:
Strong experience in System Integration Level (SIL), Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing methodologies.
Proficiency in virtualization and familiarity with ASPICE (Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination).
Proficient in tools such as VTest Studio, Systemweaver, GIT/Gerrit, Jenkins, PowerBI, Canoe, git.
Skilled in programming languages including Python, CAPL, C/C++
Ability to work in a collaborative environment, effectively communicate across teams, and present technical insights to stakeholders.



Knowledge / Experience:
At least 5 years’ experience in similar areas with an embeeded background with 5 years of relevant experience in Software Development or Test Automation.
Should have prior-experience and skills in Automotive Embeeded area with knowledge such as CAN/LIN/Flexray/Ethernet.
Experience of Scrum and working with remote teams across the globe.
Excellent communications skills demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels.
Experience of Hardware in the loop testing.
Master Degree in Software Engineering, Automation or Electronics Engineering

THE ROLE
The ideal candidate will be for developing suspension components (Tuning and mechatronics ), and serve as a Lead engineer/component owner. Main activities rely on design/development of suspension parts and supplier management during project development. In parallel, participating in either supporting or leading activities to ensure the quality of current products.
TATA Technologies Nordics AB is now looking for a Lead engineer, experience from design and development of Suspension components (specifically in Tuning and Mechtronics). As a Lead engineer at Tata Technologies you will be a part of our Mechanical engineering department in a team of professional individuals from different parts of the world. We do work both inhouse in project teams and onsite at our client’s facilities. Your main responsibility is to lead the design and development in a cross functional team for the components or subsystems for which you will be responsible. This is done in cooperation with other teams and stakeholders at the customer site as well as with supplier(s). You will actively drive and lead the development to fulfil given targets in terms of cost, timing, delivery and quality.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Design and development of Tuning and mechatronics parts.
Component sourcing; Supplier management, technical presentations.
Responsible for leading the development and design of one or several components within the suspension system.
Communicate and agree requirements with the supplier(s).
Lead technical discussions with stakeholders at customer and with supplier(s).
Responsible for creating and maintaining the time plan for the respective component or subsystem.
Ensuring progress is made by leading and following up actions with their respective owners.


EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEGDE:
Experience in Catia and Teamcenter engineering
Automotive engineering focused on Tuning and mechatronics part in passenger car. Knowledge; Manufacturing knowledge; ESOW; Design pre-requisites preparation; DV/PV; APQP; Program management skills; Problem solving tools and methodology; Agile framework; FMEA; Automotive product development system
B.Sc./B.E. in Mechanical engineering, Automotive engineering or similar. M.Sc. is meritorious.
Knowledge and experience from the automotive industry specifically air hose and suspension system
Background within mechanical design, mechanical integration or similar at OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
Extensive experience of suspension systems in the automotive industry, preferably for passenger vehicles.
Strong communication skills. Should be comfortable to present information at different levels.
Familiar with the release process of hardware in the automotive industry.
Experience from working in an Agile environment is a plus.
Fluent spoken/written English, Swedish is a plus.
Preferable if he/she has Swedish Driver’s license.
Valid work permit valid for Sweden.
