Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer at Maersk you will have the opportunity to build application integrations within internal or customer applications - providing design validation on key technologies in API development. You will be building software in accordance to the standards and guidelines, which will utilize your care and strong, well-thought-out opinions on RESTful API design, including API versioning, backwards compatibility, authentication, retry mechanisms and rate limiting.

Job description
As Resident Engineer you will be Volvo Cars first point of contact to ETAS and act as a link between ETAS global engineering team and Volvo Cars team on-site. You will work with our products and solutions from the application areas for measurement and calibration for the development of control unit software. Your role is very independent while you have access to an incredible amount of expertise in the company. You will mainly be stationed at Volvo Cars but also have the possibility to work at our local Bosch office in Gothenburg.
Responsible for on-site customer support of application within the area of Data Acquisition and Processing Solutions.
Coordinate and support SW-interface integration towards VCC systems.
Support testing and verification at VCC with focus on engineering issues.
Filter out new requirements from the customer for our products and submit them to our R&D teams.
Develop interface contacts with engineering departments at customer.
Present new developments to customer within function responsibilities.
Carry out trainings and presentations on new solutions.



Your profile
To succeed in the role as Resident Engineer, we see that you have a technical degree within relevant engineering field or equal experience. You have experience within automotive industry, meritorious if you have worked with measurement tools, calibration or embedded software. It is of great importance to us that you understand what the resident engineer role entails and that you can act as a strong ambassador for the ETAS team internally at the customer.
As a person, you are structured, communicative and solution oriented. You are comfortable interacting with people in different technical areas and we are looking for someone who is driven by building a network internally as well as externally and can work across boundaries in a global organization. This position requires that you are fluent in spoken and written in Swedish and English.

Your tasks:
In the role of Business Development Manager Customs, you will:
Manage assigned customers and budget base; pursue and secure business in line with the business objectives.
Probe and identify customer needs and provide solutions.
Build a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base
Research and understand the territory to identify and establish business contacts with potential customers
Be informed about competition and industry trends
Ensure customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality
Work closely with the local product organization to grow volumes and revenue



Your Profile:
To be successful in this role, we believe you bring the following experiences and competencies:
Professional experience in customs and broad knowledge of the market.
Sales profile with a winning mentality.
Track record of success around closing customs business and experience with local decision-making organizations.
Sales experience in the industry
Understanding of customer requirements and their concerns
Service and customer orientation
Strong communication skills
Independent action as well as an entrepreneurial mindset and commitment
Understanding of customer needs & requirements for the customs product?
Understanding of commercial solution sales process.??
Drive pipeline portfolio to manage the set up targets for the customer base
Preferably knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools

We offer
A unique role as LCL Customer Delivery Partner, where you will be responsible for the operational execution of LCL and be in daily contact with customers and vendors as well as has the overall accurate revenue and cost allocation.
This role will give you the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and extend your network within Maersk.
You will be based in Gothenburg and be part of a very dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
You will handle end-to-end processes within LCL. Arranging ocean bookings with our core co-loaders and our own controlled services together as well to also act as an gateway for our neighboring countries.
You will also arrange pre- and on-carriage with our trucking partners and align with our customs departments to have all shipments cleared as per local requirements.
Ensure shipments are filed timely and accurate in our operational systems
Reporting. Work with reports and secure good data quality
Update shipment milestones in our operational systems in order to guarantee data quality towards our customers
Ensure specific customer requirements are met (transit time, carrier selection, routings etc.)
Monitoring of shipments to provide proactive update to our customers and to solve potential operational disruptions
Coordinate with the commercial organization on customer commitments and forecasts
Knowledge Exchange with the sales and account management in order to ensure customer satisfaction
Quote on ad-hoc shipments and perform vendor negotiations
Ensure accuracy of revenue and cost calculation on shipment level



Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Supply chain / Freight Forwarding experience ideally, but not limited, with extensive knowledge and expertise within the LCL area.
You are a visionary and strategic thinker with a customer centric mindset.
Furthermore you:
Have strong stakeholder management skills
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Are able to collaborate across functions, departments and geographies
Creative and problem solving abilities and finding solutions
Have strong ownership and accountability
