The Role 
Energy Storage Systems Lab & Test is a group within the Electromobility System Complete function, with the responsibility of providing test data to stakeholders within the Energy Storage Engineering function. We are looking for a battery verification engineer with a passion for trying out new technologies, continuously improve and in the end contribute to creating better solutions that bring value to our company. 
The assignment includes, but are not restricted to:
•    Project planning, budgeting and lead in terms of battery cell testing 
•    Stakeholder management 
•    Battery cell testing according to test specification 
•    Develop and perform methods for test set-up and verification of battery hardware components 
•    Planning of verification scope and developing test setup methodology 
•    Post processing and presentation of data 
•    Test report writing 
•    Participation in our continuous improvement work, etc 
•    Testing will be performed both in-house but also at external locations, while travelling is required from time to time

To succeed in this role, you will require    
•  Minimum bachelor’s degree within Engineering 
Thorough understanding of battery cells and what affects the battery performance and life 
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in battery cell performance and life cycle test and verification, or similar areas related to verification 
•    Experience in test setup methodology for the above, including understanding of measurement techniques 
•    Experience in handling external test suppliers and tests at external sites, preferably with regards to battery cell testing 
•    Experience in leadership roles as (sub-)project lead and/or as team leader

We are looking for someone with a wide theoretical and practical knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and/or other DC power systems, typically voltage range 60-1000 V DC.
Responsibilities:
Development of safe and compliant fuel cell system products, with specific responsibility on the electrical subsystem.
Electrical integration of fuel cell systems in different applications: Stationary power, marine and aviation.
Collaborate with customers, external partners and component suppliers.
Specification, design and testing of power electronics and other components associated with electrical integration.
Commissioning, trouble shooting and field-testing - Some business trips is therefore a part of the job.
Technical sales support and concept development.


Preferred background:
MSc in power electronics, electrical power systems or equivalent.
Extensive experience from at least one of the following fields: High-voltage systems in electrical vehicles, integration of DC power sources or ESS in power industry, aviation or marine sector.


Expertise:
System-level knowledge of high-voltage electric systems and/or grid-connected power systems.
Theoretical and practical knowledge of power electronics.
Related standards and regulation.
Hands-on troubleshooting and problem solving.
2D-CAD design software used for electrical design.
Ability to collaborate with international partners, component suppliers and customers.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Fluent Swedish and/or English spoken and written.


Beneficial:
Experience with Fuel cell systems, battery systems, DC/DC and DC/AC converters.
Good understanding of automotive and industrial control systems and principles.

2-5 years relevant work experience.

Who you are

What you will do

The Vehicle Feature Laboratory (VFL) is one of the most versatile chassis dynos for commercial vehicles in the world today. We perform fuel-, emission-, thermal-, road simulation- and driveline tests on trucks and buses of various brands. The people working in VFL consists of engineers working closely as a team supported by rig mechanics to deliver test results in cooperation with test engineers. You will work with test engineers and be in contact with other functions and entities, both external and internal, like sub suppliers, electrical-, mechanical- or software support and calibration and maintenance teams.

Main Responsibilities
Act customer focused with interest in, and talent for, problem solving to be able to deliver according to test plan. During periods you need to be able to handle many of these activities at the same time. Responsibilities include:

* Coordinate rig preparations and installation of vehicle.
* Operating the test rig and vehicle based on requests from test engineers.
* Develop test sequences to correlate with simulation tools.
* Continuously monitor and build knowledge concerning future rig developments.
* Secure high uptime, improve and develop rig functions, measurement equipment and test methods based on observations during daily work and input from projects, suppliers or future legislations.



Your future team

Our group, Vehicle Test Cells, is a member of the Complete Vehicle Laboratory department within Complete Vehicle in GTT. CV Lab serve several BA/BU with a wide range of solutions within testing.
We are a highly skilled and motivated team and are responsible for managing most of the fixed test rigs within Complete Vehicle in Lundby, ensuring that they are functioning correctly with high expectations on predictive uptime. It is a lot of fun and rewarding to contribute to make a difference.

Who are you?

We believe you have the following qualifications and skills

* Engineering degree or similar.

* Knowledge and experience from measurement equipment.

* Fluent in Swedish and English.


It is even more positive if you also bring experience from operating test rigs or vehicle testing together with experience from correlation work between testing and simulation. Driving license for trucks is also a plus! We believe that competence gaps can be compensated by an open mindset and willingness to quickly learn from others, so we really hope that you share our eagerness to learn more and constantly want to develop your skills.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute test cases for Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) environments. What you will do
As Product Manager in VSF you will be responsible for management of the meta product strategy, collaboration with Product Leaders to keep up-to-date roadmaps for train backlog, PI execution and be the ambassador for the VSF train on solution level.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Managing and prioritizing the ART backlog.
* Define PI train goals regarding portfolio and company priority.
* Set clear objectives and key results and track the progress against them.
* Facilitate PO sync ceremonies and be an experienced stakeholder of PI backlog.
* Align priority among the VSF teams and judge the business value of train deliveries.
* Ensure that the train is connected to the portfolio and delivers enablers as planned.
* Connecting with other Release trains, defining product strategy and road maps and more.

Together with the VSF management team and RTE you will help continue developing the way forward for the train.

Who are you?
We believe you have the right mindset to make a difference within our organization. You have proven experience working as a PM in a relevant environment and experience with agile development methodologies, but you are not afraid to challenge and adapt ways of working. This role requires a "can-do" attitude, being a problem solver and involves working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to ensure alignment across teams. You have previous experience working with software development and a positive mindset and are eager to support and develop the set-up.

Requirements:
* University degree in mechatronics or software engineering.
* Software development/Software verification work experience.
* Strong understanding of the product development life cycle and software development processes.
* Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) tools and practices, including experience with CI pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
* Understanding of Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing methodologies and their application in a validating system.
