The purpose for Car Service Business is to enable an effortless car usage and service experience. The automotive industry is currently under-going a significant transformation driven by changing consumer behaviors, technology shifts and digitalization. 
At our department Service & Technology we distribute spare parts, accessories, service and repair methods and special tools. 
Our ambition is to be the preferred supplier of spare parts and service to our dealers and customers and thereby actively contribute to creating the best car ownership experience for the customer.

About the position
We are looking for a skilled Time Study Engineer to produce standard times, used by service technicians globally. Our production content includes parts information, standard times, service information and repair methods. Main communication channel is through Vehicle Information & Diagnostics for Aftersales (VIDA). We also evaluate new production ideas, concepts, technology and commercial performance.

What you will do
Your tasks are to produce and maintain standard times for the service and repair instructions. Predominately you will be producing Volvo Standard Time information and when required use our internal workshop to validate this information.

You and your skills
•    Bachelor’s degree or corresponding knowledge obtained by practical experience. 
•    Excellent cross-functional working skills and experience from working with vehicles in workshop or equivalent.
•    Experience from Agile way of working is meritorious.
•    Eexperience in using VIDA, VF11, TIE, KDP, Team Center or similar systems is meritorious.  
•    Being fluent in English (both written and spoken) as well as in Swedish is important for this role.

For this position, you need to have a very good communication and cross-functional working skill. You have a drive, and desire for continuous improvements in your daily work. A sense for good logic and structured way of working will be important in this role, as well as a high ability to work in teams, individually and multicultural.

Vad vi erbjuder
Målerifabriken (TB) är uppdelad i naturliga produktionsområden: Förbehandling och Efterbehandling, med över 600 medarbetare. Produktionen sker i treskift och delvis på helger. Dina arbetsuppgifter
Som Process Specialist PLC kommer du att övervaka och förbättra det löpande underhållet och optimeringen av våra tekniska system för att öka driftseffektiviteten och tillförlitligheten. Du kommer att leda initiativ för kontinuerlig förbättring inom det tekniska området, tillämpa lean-principer och problemlösningsmetoder, samt ge expertstöd vid felsökning och problemlösning för att minimera driftstopp och förbättra systemets prestanda.
Du kommer regelbundet att utvärdera produktionsprocesser och system, genomföra förbättringar för att öka kvalitet och effektivitet, samt samarbeta nära med ingenjörsteam, produktionspersonal och underhållsteam för att koordinera förbättringar och säkerställa effektiva operationer. Du kommer också att vara med och säkra att maskininstallationer överensstämmer med branschens säkerhetsstandarder och bästa praxis genom regelbundna översyner och uppdateringar.

Din profil och kompetens
Du har mycket goda kunskap i el och styr samt en gedigen kunskap och erfarenhet i Siemens PLC. 
Du har kunskap om Volvo Cars relevanta standarder och dess innehåll, mycket god datorvana samt är fullt bekväm med de mjukvaror Volvo Cars använder i fabriksmiljön så som Maximo, Axxos, Power BI etc.
Praktisk erfarenhet från underhållsarbete, underhållsingenjör, R&M-ingenjör eller liknande är meriterande.

Din attityd är positiv och du har lätt för att samarbeta, samtidigt som du har en god pedagogisk förmåga.
En viktig del i ditt arbete är att coacha andra samt att vara ett stöd för att säkra rätt kompetensnivån i hela organisationen.

What you will do

You will work with optimizing our maintenance and ensure that our maintenance system is continuously updated in line with test rigs updates. You will work with our CMMS software MaintMaster, and our DCS/SCADA-systems for supporting systems (to our test rigs) and monitor operations, plan for updates, and optimize for uptime, cost and energy. We want you to lead our internal work in this area and be our part in rig and facility projects for facility control and monitoring systems. This position focus on Complete Vehicle test rigs in Campus Lundby and you will drive and secure process maintenance in our facilities, lead root cause analysis, set and optimize maintenance schedules etc. You will work closely with test rig owners and management to focus efforts in keeping and improving uptime and efficiency in all our testing facilities. You will have to opportunity to set guidelines for new projects on how to build and document such that it seamlessly fit our wanted maintenance activities.


Your future team

Our group, Vehicle Test Cells, is a member of the Complete Vehicle Laboratory department within Complete Vehicle in GTT. CV Lab serve several BA/BU with a wide range of solutions within testing.
We are a highly skilled and motivated team and are responsible for managing most of the fixed test rigs within Complete Vehicle in Lundby, ensuring that they are functioning correctly with high expectations on predictive uptime.
We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team!

Desired qualifications and experiences
* B.Sc., or similar relevant proven technical experience

* working with process and facility control systems (DCS/SCADA) or CMMS systems is a merit
* fluent in Swedish and English

Vad erbjuder vi?
Inom tekniken Maintenance, Investments & Metrology etablerar och utvecklar vi relationer med testingenjörer inom nästan alla systemområden av fordonet samt bygger en förståelse för tekniken inom dessa områden. Vi tillhandahåller metrologisk expertis, utlåning av instrumentering, design och service av utvecklingsverktyg för testavdelningar.

Ditt uppdrag är att leverera mätningar och kalibreringar inom form och läge, dimension, ytjämnhet, hårdhet och moment med hög noggrannhet inom Volvo Cars produktutveckling.  
Tillsammans säkerställer vi kvalitet och spårbarhet för de värden som genereras i analys- och verifieringsprocessen.

Vad du ska göra
Som mätingenjör kommer du utföra mätningar på komponenter i motorer, transmissioner och andra typer av prov- och produktionsobjekt såsom riggdetaljer och fixturer. Du kommer även utföra kalibrering och mätningar efter utarbetade instruktioner åt VCC produktutvecklingsverkstäder och lab. Utöver detta kommer du även inom ditt ansvarsområde att utföra installation av programvara för gällande mätutrustning, underhåll, kalibrering och månadskontroller för att säkerställa att all mätutrustning som används är kalibrerad samt ta fram utvecklings- och investeringsplan för mätutrustning och nya metoder och parametrar efter önskemål och behov. 
Utöver ovan kommer du även genomföra metodutveckling och kvalitetsförbättring av utrustning, metoder och instruktioner inom kalibrering och mätning. Du kommer att arbeta tillsammans med uppdragsgivare där du ska föreslå bäst lämpad metod, alternativt ta fram en ny metod, för att säkerställa att uppdraget genomförs med bästa resultat enligt fastställd tidsplan. Förutom att säkerställa att rätt underlag vid respektive mättillfälle används ska du även granska och redovisa resultat från uppdrag samt ansvara för att begärda mätningar eller kalibreringar följer de beslutade kvalitetsinstruktionerna med avseende på ISO-certifiering och ackreditering.       

Färdigheter och erfarenhet är viktiga:
* B.Sc. inom elektroteknik, elmekanik, eller liknande utbildning
* Goda mättekniska och verkstadstekniska kunskaper och har erfarenhet av ritningsläsning, form och läge. 
* Kunskaper inom metod- och procedurutveckling

This position will be located in Gothenburg in collaboration with other testing team on site and in Shanghai China.

You And Your Skills
We are seeking a candidate with leadership experience in managing organizations with complex tasks and coaching empowered teams. The ideal candiadte will have senior experience in software or test and integration within large-scale software development organizations. A Master's degree in Electrical or Software Engineering or similar relevant experience is required, along with 8-10 years of experience working with Embedded Systems and Software Test and Integration.
High communication and cooperation skills are essential, and fluency in speaking and writing Swedish and/or English is a must. The candidate should also possess a strategic mindset with a strong focus on delivery.
Meritorious qualifications include testing experience in Embedded Software development or Software Testing in complete vehicles or on target hardware (hardware-in-the-loop), software coding experience, and familiarity with agile development.
We are looking for someone with a leadership profile who can motivate and delegate effectively, has an interest in leading and developing co-workers and empowered teams, and possesses strong communication and interaction skills. Networking abilities, a solution-oriented approach, and an innovative, value-driven mindset are also important. What you’ll do

You’ll be responsible of a team of 15-20 dedicated members. As a manager of these, you’ll be responsible of creating development opportunities, establish a long-term competence development, planning activities as well as recruiting for future key competences. You’ll support the group in the day-to-day work, work to secure software integration, test-strategy development and actively participate in the department’s management group.

What’s in it for you? 
You will be a part of the System Crash Testing group within the section Safety & Durability Verification. System Crash Testing mainly performs tests on components, safety-systems and even full scale-tests. We have various rigs, two crash simulators and two crash-tracks so we can conduct various test conditions that simulate real crashes. Volvos vision is to develop cars in a more simulated and theoretical environment. To be able to create new test methods and test environments for the future, it puts demands on our creativity, drive, change willingness and courage. The team mainly performs tests in our rigs for customers from VCC but we also do testing for external customers and suppliers.

What you will do
You will be part of a team that plan and execute component testing of safety systems. We have several test rigs to execute a variety of different test methods.
You and the team members work closely together with an Analysis Engineer or representant from Design departments who acts as the customer and sets the parameters for the test.

As a Test Engineer, you are responsible for the rig and execute the tests.
This includes running the crash rigs, preparing the test object in regard to transducers, data acquisition systems, hi speed camera views and test devices. You will also contribute to improvements and analyze the test result. You will collect the data and video recording from the test and compile it for further delivery to the Analysis Engineer and customer. The Test Engineer act as the main link between the customer and the test team and is obligated to book pre-test meetings with the customer and stakeholders of the test.

In parallel to the testing, you will take part in rig and test method development and also represent our department in projects concerning your field of expertise.

Do you fit the profile?
We are seeking for an analytic person who can operate in a frequently changing environment. A person who likes to be a part of the progress to develop the systems. We want you to have good knowledge of PC environment and standard PC applications. You have a university degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in measurement techniques, data collection and signal analysis, or equivalent.  Experience working with servo hydraulic systems, is a plus.

What you`ll do?

As we are looking for several Senior Professionals in the Battery Cell area. Depending on your background and interest, you would be considered for a Design Engineer role within one of our teams:
* Battery Cell Design: leads cells sourcing and industrialization with a focus on developing the cell design and materials to balance the cell attributes' namely performance, safety, durability, sustainability, quality, and cost. 
* Battery Cell Integration: project lead for the implementation of high-quality cells and cell modules/bricks into the battery pack and vehicle.  Responsible for the project’s time, technique and cost. The group is also responsible for cell integration verification/testing.  
* Battery Cell Analytics: responsible for durability requirement setting and follow up by initiate testing and analyzing data. Develop models for cell performance and cell durability and create battery life estimations. Provide battery data from customer vehicles and visualize trends of SOH and cell quality. 
* Battery Structural and Thermal CAE: responsible for Structural and Thermal simulations for cell applications. 


What you´ll bring?

We are looking for collaborative team members, who share our passion for evolving battery cell technologies, battery cell integration, automotive engineering, and sustainability. You tend to work independently, initiate improvements and prioritize tasks effectively to secure your project deliveries and investigations. You are an effective communicator of complex technical concepts towards external and internal stakeholders, have analytical approach and love solving problems.
