As an Infrastructure Architect, your primary responsibility will be to take a holistic view of IT infrastructure that supports both on-premises and cloud environments. While your main expertise lies in IT infrastructure, experience within Operational Technology (OT) is a plus, as it will help bridge the gap between our IT and OT environments. 

Key responsibilities and skills:  


• Identify and drive the development of principles and guidelines to maintain and enhance a sustainable architecture. 
• Design relevant infrastructure solutions, with a focus on business value. 
• Participate in projects and assignments, actively collaborating across different functions within IT and the business. 
• Ensure that infrastructure services meet requirements related to functionality, manageability, cost-effectiveness, security, and quality, in collaboration with other architects. 
• Serve as a trusted advisor for strategic IT infrastructure decisions, while also providing valuable input for OT-related initiatives. 

You will be part of Stena Metall’s Enterprise Architect department, which consists of several architect roles within Stena Metall IT.

To fit for the role, you should have a relevant degree and several years of experience working as a Cloud-, Infrastructure architect or in a similar role. Experience with OT is a bonus but not required. 

In addition, you have/are:  


• Structured, analytical, and can take a broader perspective to see the big picture. 
• A strong collaborations skill that allows you to build productive relationships within your own group and across other IT teams. 
• Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid infrastructure environments. 
• Deep expertise in IT infrastructure design, including networking, security, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery. 
• Knowledge of OT systems and technologies (e.g., SCADA, ICS, IIoT) is beneficial but not required. 
• Language skills encompass both spoken and written communication in Swedish and English

In this role, your reporting line is to your HPC Manager, located in Gothenburg. We offer hybrid work arrangements but given that a portion of our team is based in Gothenburg, we prefer candidates for this position to reside in Gothenburg and the surrounding area.

Is this you?

To excel in this role, it is essential to possess extensive knowledge of Linux System Administration and proficiency in Configuration Management. Ideally, you have completed academic studies in computer science, informatics, or a related field from a technical university. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is required, accompanied by a documented track record of successful implementations.
Moreover, a strong understanding of cloud solutions, expertise in virtualization systems, network management, and the design of data storage across various types is highly valued. Fluency in spoken and written English is a prerequisite, and proficiency in Swedish would be considered an additional asset.

We believe you possess a well-rounded skill set that includes proficiency in the following toolkits:
  Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the system administration of Linux environments.
Previous exposure to configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Kubernetes and integration with Git.
Familiarity with KVM, Kolla, OpenStack, The Foreman, Ironic, InfiniBand/OmniPath CEPH storage.
Competence in network design and configuration of switches/routers, coupled with a broad understanding of TCP/IP.
Proficient scripting abilities in bash/python, along with some experience in programming languages like Java/Golang.

The Scientific Computing platform (SCP) is AstraZeneca's primary platform supporting exploratory research, and underpins every stage of drug development from target validation through to compound selection for clinical trials. At its heart it provides four services:

1. two on-premise HPC clusters

2. the applications the scientists need to perform their research

3. elastic HPC capacity in the public cloud

4. the expertise to help scientists optimise their workflows and accelerate the development of new medical treatments.

A critical ability is to maintain the flexibility to adjust and adapt according to changing requirements and follow the science.

The SCP department comprises 50-60 individuals across three core technical areas (HPC Infrastructure, Software Infrastructure, and Applications), a Business Engagement team, an Operations team, and a small Program Management team.

About this role

As the HPC Infrastructure Technical Lead, you will be leading a team of 10-15 engineers and be engaged in a variety of activities including responsibility for

* Working with scientific users to understand their needs, and develop solutions
* Horizon scanning, identifying the future technologies needed to stay innovative
* Defining the roadmap for the platform's HPC infrastructure
* Prioritising the work backlog for the team according to scientific needs
* Ensuring delivery of team objectives, both for on-premises clusters and in the cloud
* Mentoring and coaching engineers
* Investigating and resolving complex operational incidents

Essential Skills

* Experience leading the engineering for large-scale computing environments, such as HPC, HTC for scientific research, preferably in Life Sciences (e.g. Pharmaceutical Industry, BioTech)
* You can demonstrate a deep understanding of HPC architectures and the factors influencing their performance , including:

* Processor and accelerator architectures
* HPC high performance network technologies, such as Infiniband, low latency ethernet at 100Gbit and above
* High performance storage systems (e.g. GPFS, Lustre, Weka)
* Strong understanding of HPC scheduling systems (e.g. SLURM, LSF)

* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-experts, and interpret scientific needs in terms of IT
* Experience working with distributed DevOps teams using agile methods, and using other project management techniques when appropriate

Desired Skills & Background

* Experience optimising HPC inftastructure for applications commonly used in drug discovery; e.g. molecular dynamics, genomics and machine learning
* Operation and configuration of public cloud computing infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP), especially in an HPC context
* Experience deploying and operating OpenStack
* Experience with a variety of programming languages and frameworks, used in research computing and AI (MPI, C/C++, CUDA, Pytorch/Tensorflow, Python/conda, R)
* You will have a bachelor's degree or higher in Computational, Physical or Biological Science, Engineering or equivalent area

Stena Confidential arbetar med destruktion och återvinning av konfidentiellt material och finns i fem länder. Vi omsätter ca 250 miljoner och är 75 anställda. Vår ekonomiavdelning består av CFO, Redovisningsansvarig, Redovisningsekonom samt Controller.

Som Redovisningansvarig kommer du ha ett totalansvar för redovisning och rapportering för det svenska verksamhetsbolaget Stena Confidential AB. Verksamheten i det svenska bolaget startade 1 maj i år då även vårt nya affärsystem Microsoft D365 lanserades. Detta är en bred roll i en nystartad verksamhet med stora möjligheter att utvecklas och kunna påverka. Huvudansvaret är för det svenska bolaget men det ingår också kontakter och samarbete med våra utländska företag.

Ditt ansvar inkluderar bland annat:


• Övergripande ansvarig för bokföring och redovisning.

Du har minst 3 års erfarenhet av kvalificerat redovisningsarbete och finansiell rapportering.

Are you the Integration Developer we are looking for? 

Our integration team needs to strengthen with an experienced integration developer who like to discuss patterns and best practices.  

You will be part of a team that develop complex integration solutions that make a difference to all our operations. Being part of the team include influencing both technology and way of working. Key responsibilities – include, but are not limited to: 


• Design, develop, deploy and manage integrations and the underlying platform.  
• Collaborate with other developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality integrations. 
• Build and maintain sustainable integrations based on Azure Integration Services.

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, or equivalent. 
• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience of building and delivering integrations, preferably in Azure. 
• Experience of working with infrastructure as code (IaC) and of using pipelines. 
• Certifications in cloud environments and/or integration platforms, is meritorious.

The R&D Department provides a support function for the whole Stena Metall Group. Your focus on processes and technology

As a Process & Technology engineer in our R&D department, you will be part of a team of currently 35 people and be involved in driving process engineering solutions in projects of varying size and complexity. You will be part in projects working with concepts-, pre-studies and implementation of both small and large development projects within our facilities.

You will work with everything from technical-studies, POC riggs, methodology, technology development, design. You will also be a strong team player and act as a mentor to your younger colleagues as the department grows.

Your time will be divided between work from our office, working from home and at our facilities both in Sweden and Europe.

You are an experienced engineer with a broad background in the process or production industry and many years of experience working in projects and development. To succeed in the role, you have a technical interest, solid knowledge and are curious. As a person, you are communicative, responsive, relationship-building, proactive and take your place in a humble way both outside our facilities and internally in the office. You need to be a flexible person who thrives in a changing environment and wants to be involved in developing the internal work in the R&D department.

You will be working in cross-functional and international teams including external stakeholders. Therefore, spoken and written Swedish and English on professional level is necessary.

If you have previous experience linked to Recycling industry, Automation, Plastic, this is a merit.

Driver license is a requirement.

As an Automation engineer in our R&D department, you will be part of a team of currently 35 people and be involved in driving process engineering solutions in projects of varying size and complexity. You will be the technology owner in projects working with early project phases, design and implementation of both small and large development projects within our facilities.

You will work with everything related to any area of Industi 4.0. Such as technology development, design, procurement and commissioning. 

You will also have a role where you expertice will be used to train and develop our team as the department grows.

Your time will be divided between work from our office, working from home and at our facilities both in Sweden and Europe.

You are an experienced engineer with a broad background in the process or production industry and many years of experience working in projects and development and streamlining of production. To succeed in the role, you have a technical interest, solid knowledge and are curious. You will be working in cross-functional and international teams including external stakeholders. Therefore, spoken and written Swedish and English on professional level is necessary.
