At Testing Technology, you will contribute to product development projects with equipment, solutions and support to provide data to make our vehicles even better. You will be responsible for equipment and systems, and planning based on project needs. You will coordinate with test engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to make sure we have the right equipment and the right setup in test vehicles according to the time plan and make sure that the right data is available for the engineers and analysts. You will also contribute to long term plans when defining road maps and investigation future tools and systems. This role will require both technical depth and breadth since you will not only work with the measurement technology but also the larger eco system of the complete vehicle and the backend systems.

Some of these experiences could be part of your background:  
•    BSc or MSc in electrical engineering/mechatronics or other relevant educational background
•    Experience with data logging equipment and related backend systems
•    Experience from one or more of these areas: electronics, vehicle diagnostics, CAN/LIN/Ethernet communication, electrical architecture or vehicle verification

Some of the skills required in this position are:

•    Strong planning, prioritization and communication skills 
•    Good collaborations skills, both within the team and with other departments
•    Ability to think ahead, and understand future needs both short and long term
•    A C-level driver’s license would be a great bonus!

The Vehicle Motion & Thermal Management Technology stream leads and develops complete vehicle motion-, energy- and thermal control solutions for Safe, Sustainable and Efficient transportation.

We are now looking for a self-driven specialist Embedded Software Engineer to strengthen our team, Thermal Supply Product & SW. Our team is responsible for the design and development of the application SW, controlling the complete thermal management system, and the calibration and tuning of it. Meaning that we are responsible for Refrigerant loop and the Coolant loop functionality covering all sites and truck brands (among more) within the Volvo Group.
What will you do?
As an Embedded SW Engineer you plan your work according to the agile SAFE principals together with your team. The main responsibility of the team is the development of the Coolant Loop and Refrigerant loop Controller, acting as a central enabler in the thermal management system, realizing functionality that has clear customer impact. Within the role you will work with both new development towards future feature/function growth and with maintenance improving the system already on the market. You will have the opportunity to collaborate a lot with many surrounding teams within and outside of our direct organization. Today we have a very close collaboration with EMOB, testing facilities, testing teams, workshops, and more.

Volvo Group Trucks Technology and Industrial Division are looking for a new colleague within the ECU Hardware group for Embedded Platform Factory in Gothenburg.
We do this with the high Volvo Quality Standards ensuring the overall quality of HW and/or Systems within the Volvo Group.

Position description:
As Global Component Responsible you will understand the needs, specify and together with a supplier be responsible for ECU(s) in our new electrical architecture. You will be responsible for securing that the technical solution, electronics and mechanics, fulfills our needs. The mission is to define the requirements, work closely with our supplier, and secure that the delivered ECU meets the target milestones and is physically installed properly in the target environment. 
You will in this role work together within Volvo in a cross-functional team, often with global representation. In addition, you will also cooperate with external suppliers to develop electronics and ECU housing. 
Key responsibilities:
•    Define requirements for designing and developing hardware components
•    Providing technical leadership and guidance
•    Collaborating with cross-functional teams
•    Managing vendors and ensuring quality standards
•    Testing, validation, and documentation

Who are you

Qualifications:
•    University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
•    At least 3 years of experience within EE hardware development of embedded systems
•    Fluent in English, written and spoken
•    A successful experience in electrical HW development will be an important merit
•    Experience from Advanced Product Quality Planning is a merit
•    ISO 26262 knowledge is a merit

The Data Analyst will play a key role in strengthening the bridge between the Cyber Defense Center (CDC) and the broader business. This position is developing and implementing analytics capabilities that aim to turn cybersecurity data into business insights – enabling us to build metrics, narratives and visual reports that guide strategic decisions throughout the organization.





Main Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the end-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions – from data integration and modeling to visualization and storytelling.
• Prepare, transform, and analyze data across the Azure-based analytics platform (including data lake, pipelines, and modeling environments).
• Design, maintain, and improve BI dashboards and reports that clearly communicate cybersecurity and operational performance.
• Collaborate with senior team members and other CDC teams (e.g., Security Operations, Threat Hunting, Engineering) to define analytics use cases and integrate diverse data sources.
• Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data to support decision-making and enhance cybersecurity operations.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation across all analytics processes.
• Contribute to the automation and scalability of reporting and analytics pipelines.
• Apply visual storytelling to present complex data in a clear and impactful way.


Who are you?
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with hands-on involvement in end-to-end business intelligence development.
• Practical experience working with cloud-based analytics environments, preferably Azure, including data lakes, pipelines, and data modeling components.
• Experience in designing and building business intelligence dashboards, preferably using Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes and best practices for managing datasets.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other scripting languages for data analytics.
• Ability to translate analytical results into clear visual insights and narratives for diverse audiences.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you will do
At Volvo Buses you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will:

Preparing and submitting documentation for regulatory approvals and publishing the new and updated certificates.
Represent and coordinate within projects for new and existing products to meet all the statutory and mandatory requirements.
Coordinate certification tests and evaluations with testing team, technical services, and type approval authorities.


Be the subject matter expert for regulations, providing regulatory input and guidance to support projects and engineering teams.
Monitor product changes to ensure compliance continuity.


Your future team
The homologation/certification team is a team of around ten engineers that is part of Product and Project Management (PMM) within Global Bus Technology (GBT). The team is in Gothenburg, but we are collaborating with teams in Poland, Brazil and Mexico. We also interact directly with our bus body builder customers. Each person in the team has a specific area of responsibility but with a lot of collaboration within the team, and with other stakeholders.

Who are you?

Mandatory requirements:
Minimum five (5) years of vehicle certification experience and process knowledge.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in technology within relevant areas.
Proficient in English, with working experiences from an international context.

The following experiences are meritorious:
UN R10, R100, R155, and R156 experience.
WVTA experience.
Working at technical service or type approval authorities.
KOLA, VDA, VDB, CDM, CDS system experience.

Personality requirements:
Diligence, interest for regulations and technical information study and research.
A doer attitude, with a willingness to grow and learn.
Be a trustworthy collaborator, with good interpersonal and social skills.
