The opportunity
We're currently looking for an AOSP Senior Software Engineer. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed.
The Infotainment Software team is a part of Connected Experience group in R&D and consists of specialists with broad expertise in Android Automotive OS. Currently the team is focused on development of a high-end infotainment system for the latest model of Polestar, which is not yet on the market. We’re committed to fostering our professional development with continuous learning, mentorship, and access to advanced tools and technologies.
This position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.
The responsibilities
In this role, this candidate will be expected to develop and modify Android-based applications and services for automotive platforms. Working as a member of the Infotainment Software team, the candidate will be instrumental in working closely with our supplier to ensure smooth integration of components developed by them.

Design and implementation of new features tailored to automotive requirements.
Identify and fix bugs in the applications, libraries, etc. ensuring reliability and stability.
Develop unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including integration team, UI/UX, and systems engineers, and external suppliers to deliver a high-performing and secure in-car experience.

In addition, you'll need the following:
Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
Experience in AOSP development and Android internals.
Proven experience inbuilding or enhancing infotainment systems for automotive platforms.
Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, C++, and familiarity with embedded systems development using low-level programming.
Proficient in using development tools like Android Studio, Git, and GitHub.
Familiar or having experience with Vehicle Hardware Abstraction Layer (VHAL).
Familiar or having experience with Android Interface Definition Language (AIDL).
Experience in working with signals related to Flexray, SomeIP, IPCP, etc.
Hands-on experience in integrating Android apps and framework layer with platform; troubleshooting any miscommunication of interfaces and signals.

What you will do

You will also be part of, for example, creating requirement specifications, evaluate HW performance in rig and actual vehicles, support in test activities as well as being part of packaging discussions to secure required space in future vehicles. In this role you will have close collaboration with the project leader, SW responsible and test engineer within your team. You will also have many other interfaces within VCC, for example, Interior, Design, EMC, Ergonomics, Electrical Performance, Perceived Quality, Vehicle Engineers and so on. This requires good ability to communicate with other people as well as being proactive, driven and dare to take your own initiatives.


You:

VI SÖKER DIG SOM:Har en civilingenjörsexamen inom elektroteknik eller mekatronik.

Ditt Team

Ingenjörsavdelningen i Göteborg består av runt 60 anställda plus konsulter, som verkar inom ett flertal olika expertisområden inom elektronikutveckling. Ditt Uppdrag

Som chef för sektionen System and Verification Engineering arbetar du nära tillsammans med övriga sektionschefer, vars team ansvarar för den detaljerade designen, såsom elektronikkonstruktion, mjukvaru och FPGA-utveckling, och mekanikkonstruktion, samt med projektledare och marknadsteam.

Om Dig

Vi tror att du är högskoleutbildad inom ett relevant ingenjörsområde, t.ex. elektronik, mjukvara eller rymdteknik, eller har en motsvarande teknisk bakgrund, och kan uttrycka dig väl i tal och skrift, både på svenska och på engelska. Du har erfarenhet från ledande roller, med intresse för ledarskap och ledarskapsutveckling, och är duktig på att coacha ditt team. Erfarenhet från rymd- eller flygindustrin, eller andra komplexa områden, samt en förståelse för relevanta ingenjörsprocesser och metoder är en fördel.

What you'll do
· You will lead a team of professional specialists within the functional areas of corporate finance, business development, risk analysis and control, cash and transaction management, funding operations, FX, working capital financing solutions and treasury digital development.
· The responsibilities in the team also include financial policy adherence, risk management (including hedging) and reporting, customer payment solutions, insurance and bank contacts.
· The team works as a strategic advisor for the Business Units, supporting decisions relating to working capital financing solutions and structuring.
· The team is application owner of treasury related systems and drives the strategy for digitalization and automation within treasury.
· In this position you will also have a responsibility for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, propose and maintain risk policies and other documents governing the treasury, corporate finance and business development activities, conduct compliance due diligence on banks and drive negotiations of ISDA and similar agreements.
· Report to CFO and support with board and management presentations.
· Continue to build a robust capital structure for Polestar and develop long term strategic objectives and targets for Finance.
· As a part of the Finance management team you will lead and develop the Treasury, Corporate Finance & Business development unit to support the growth targets of the Polestar Group.

Who you are
· Proven leadership experience
· 10-15 years of extensive and relevant work experience from a Finance/Treasury/Corporate Finance department at an international company, potentially combined with experience from a financial institution or consultancy firm
· Proven experience with Corporate Finance, FX, Capital Markets, and Financial Risk management
· Broad knowledge and experience of Treasury processes and systems
· Good comprehension and experience of Cash Management and Trade Finance products.
· It is meritorious if you have worked with or in China
· University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering or equivalent

On a personal level you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You have a proactive approach and good overview capability as well as detail orientation. You have high integrity and feel comfortable with controls, risk and policies. You are a natural leader with a focus on developing and coaching others. For this position it is also essential that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The Opportunity
Working in the Global Finance Transformation team offers a unique opportunity to interact with a wide circle of contacts within Polestar. The selected candidate will report to the Global Finance Process Owner within Finance and will have one direct report. You’ll be working globally and cross-functional, with a broad scope of the financial activities within the group.
The Process Owner we are looking for will focus on our Record to Report processes, which covers a wide range of sub-processes in accounting, with the purpose to efficiently provide timely and accurate reports to management as support for decision making. In this role, you will work closely with the business and the line organization within Finance, to secure state of the art end-to-end processes.
The Global Finance Transformation team is also involved in various projects, such as new market establishments and ERP implementations where you will have a key role. For the new market projects, you will act as the overall finance-lead to secure a compliant and functional setup of all finance processes, not just within Record to Report.

The Responsibilities
Process Leadership: Develop and optimize the Record to Report processes globally and continuously strive toward operational excellence
Documentation: Develop and improve process flow documentation
Automation & Innovation: Identify and implement automation opportunities together with internal stakeholders and digital teams to improve accuracy and reduce manual effort.
Compliance: Ensure processes adhere to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Participate in prioritization forums and collaborate on finance-related development initiatives.
Project Involvement: Define and manage business requirements related to the Record to Report processes, contributing to finance and cross-functional projects. Act as the overall finance lead for new market establishments.
Data Governance: Establish and maintain governance over finance master data to ensure integrity and compliance.

The Ideal Candidate You possess a confident and assertive personality, unafraid to advocate for your ideas and take responsibility, yet you remain receptive to different perspectives. It “takes a village” to succeed in what we set out to do, hence you must be a team player. You can’t be shy in the Polestar culture so to be able to connect and collaborate with different functions and stakeholders is a necessity. You need to have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable taking and driving your own initiatives. In addition, you bring:
A University degree in Business Administration (major in finance or accounting) or equivalent
At a minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience from external audit and IFRS accounting roles
Strong Knowledge in ERP systems, and especially its finance modules. Polestar is on a SAP journey, hence SAP experience will be highly valued
Documented skills in process development and/or project management is an advantage
Strong understanding of financial compliance - taxes, VAT, understanding of differences between local GAAP and IFRS
A good grasp of automotive operations is advantageous.

The Opportunity 
We have an exciting opportunity at Polestar for a Financial Controller who can work within a fast-paced and challenging start-up organization. You will play an important role within the Polestar Group Controlling Team. The team controls the Industrial side of the operations and consists of departments such as Procurement, R&D, Design, Manufacturing, and complete capex investments. In this finance role, you are a member of a dynamic and developing team and supporting Polestar in its growth and expansion.
This position is located at our HQ, in Gothenburg. 
Key Responsibilities 
You will secure accurate and timely reporting (in SAP and AARO) of global Spend, P&L, CAPEX and COGS as well as visualizing and explaining the main deviation vs target, YoY and QoQ for assigned departments and COGS categories. Continuously challenge and support the assigned departments, reporting and strategic analysis, including ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions will also be part of your responsibilities as well as driving the forecasting work both in short- and long- term aspects. You will report to the Industrial Controlling Manager. The role is focused on the following main tasks:
Responsible for monthly financial reporting and analysis to group functions (ie FP&A and accounting) as well as to prepare the consolidated actuals/forecasts for operations review and together with Business Controller (BC) be a speaking partner to the operation.
Responsible for consolidating and analyzing total forecast/budget into Konstrukt for assigned departments
Responsible for the accrual and capitalization process including hourly rate calculation and secure timely delivery of input to group accounting in month end closing for assigned departments
Responsible for providing supporting documents to internal and external audits as well as ensuring SOX compliance for assigned control functions
Ad hoc reporting and analysis
Drive cost activities


The Ideal Candidate
On a personal level you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You have a proactive approach and good overview capability as well as detail orientation. You have strong business acumen and feel comfortable with interpret and communicate financial information in a clear and concise way to many different stakeholders incl non finance. For this position it is also essential that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration (or similar)
5+ years’ experience in financial controlling, preferably within industrial or automotive business
Broad knowledge of IFRS, Excel, experience in SAP and business analytics tools
Strong ability to plan and coordinate work independently as well as jointly in diversified teams
Flexible and proven experience at prioritize and be able to handle ad hoc requests
