Our team, Product Costing Comet team are a dynamic team at Volvo Cars, focused on revolutionising the metrics of every car sold at Volvo Cars. Do you want to help us innovate in product costing experience?  As a Backend Engineer in Product Costing Comet, you will be instrumental in Volvo Cars’ financial core by building services that provide information for steering and controlling. What you'll do

In this role you will drive innovation in product costing experience by developing backend services. We are a diverse product team of frontend and backend engineers working with Java, Spring Boot, React, NextJS and Azure. Other tools and components are IBM MQ, GraphQL, REST API’s, event driven architectures with Kafka, Snowflake and more.  You will be a part of a product team and will alongside with the developers

What you'll bring


* 4+ years of experience in backend development using Java and SpringBoot including data integrations to other systems and experience in designing solutions
* Strong knowledge of relational databases (Postgre, Server) and No databases (MongoDB, Redis, Elastic)
* Proficiency in object-oriented design, multi-threading, and asynchronous programming
* Experience with testing frameworks and unit/integration testing
* BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Familiarity with frontend frameworks, information security practices, Azure, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch preferred

About the Role
We are looking for a Verification Engineer to join a highly technical environment where you will be responsible for testing, verification, and development of test strategies for moderately complex hardware and system projects. Produktionsorganisationen - Machining rekryterar nu Operatörer med tydliga ambitioner, potential samt förmågor att på sikt växa in i lagledar eller Supervisor roller. Vad kommer du att uföra?

Bearbetningsprocessen är i hög grad automatiserad. Tillsammans med teamet ska du se till att produktionen flyter på som den ska genom att t.ex. övervaka maskiner och se till att färdiga produkter uppfyller gällande kvalitetskrav.
Eftersom produktionsorganisationen under uppstartsfasen är liten kommer alla inom organisationen att behöva lära sig så mycket som möjligt inom varje verksamhetsområde. Du kommer därför att erbjudas en utvecklingsplan där du breddar din kompetens inom bl.a. kvalitet, säkerhet, miljö etc. Detta kommer att vara en av organisationens framgångsfaktorer.


Du och dina färdigheter

What we offer

Exciting roll as software developer developing software in C/C++ for active chassis functions. We are now looking for a Embedded Software Developer to strengthen our team. The Suspension Software and Function teams are cross functional teams working with the full software stack development, developing control algorithms for our functions and all tool chains needed for our development to achieve the best active chassis functions for our vehicles.

What you will do

Working in our in-house software team that develops software for Suspension system in both Suspension ECU and Central ECU of the vehicle.
You will work closely with other developers, test engineers, system engineers, safety engineers and may take cross-function tasks depends on the need of the project.
Your main responsibility is to develop application software in C++ and middle ware in C.

Competence profile:
- At least 5 years experience in C++ (11 or 14) and/or C(90 or 99)
- At least 5 years experience in real time embedded system development
- Having experience in Automotive industry
- Having experience working with Autosar
- Having knowledge of Automotive communication protocol: Can, Automotive Ethernet
- Having knowledge of UDS(Unified Diagnostic Service)
- Have experience working with Vector tool: CANOE, CANalyzer, VTEST
- Have knowledge on low level protocol firmware development: SPI, UART, PWM, DIO, PSI5
- HIL systems and real-time simulation
- Having knowledge of System Safety Implementation compliant with ISO26262
- Familiarity with cyber security standards in Automotive
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment
- Good at initiating communication when needed

About the position

We are looking for a Sustainability Manager to lead our work on Sustainability due diligence in our battery supply chain. In this role, you will be part of the Procurement & Supply Chain Sustainability team that is responsible for shaping the global Procurement & Supply Chain sustainability strategy and to guide its implementation, by focusing on cross-functional alignment and raising the ambition level in line with decided strategies.
You will be a key contributor in bringing our due diligence process and structure into life. 


What you'll do

* Engage with Volvo Car´s suppliers and Volvo Cars Procurement team to develop and implement our due diligence program in Volvo Car´s Battery raw material supply chains, with strong focus on Lithium, Nickel, Graphite, Cobalt and Manganese. 
* Lead and monitor the social audit program of the Volvo Cars Battery Supply Chain, from mine sites to tier 1 suppliers. 
* Lead and monitor the Blockchain supply chain traceability program in close cooperation with our external Blockchain partner. 
* Engage with NGOs, investors, industry groups and other external stakeholders, including traveling.
* Support in the drafting of Volvo Cars Annual and Sustainability Report, policy and position paper updates as well as responses to customer/investor/media inquiries. 
* Steer, monitor and report on related performance metrics, providing insights and strategic recommendations to management. 
* Continuously identify, assess and update the Sustainability and human rights risks landscape of to the Battery Supply Chain, including regulatory developments.
* Collaborate and engage internally and cross functionally within Volvo Cars through trainings and overall support.
* Stay in touch and support in compliance of with regulatory developments and industry trends in the Battery industry.


???????While the role covers the whole range of Sustainability, the main focus of the Battery Supply Chain Sustainability Manager will be on Human Rights and Responsible Business. 

What you'll bring

We believe you have a university degree in a relevant area, and more than five years relevant work experience.
Knowledge about and working with batteries, battery chemistry or the battery industry is highly valuable while basic understanding of Human Rights Due Diligence and related responsible sourcing standards, frameworks and regulations is important. We are therefore looking for someone with a combined skill set who is comfortable in dialogues both with battery engineers as well as with Sustainability experts and suppliers. Experience with supply chain traceability such as Blockchain is considered an extra merit.

You enjoy working as a team but also are self-motivated believe in yourself and can work and deliver without constant supervision.
