What are we looking for?
On our exciting adventure to develop the future at Volvo Group, we are now looking for a Group Manager in the Data Simulation and Verification section.
Can you see yourself responsible for identifying customer needs and prioritizing development activities? Then, join the Thermal Management Sub Stream within the Vehicle Motion and Thermal Management department.
As a Group manager in this position, you will be a leader in an organization dedicated to technology, people, and performance, where customer satisfaction is our ultimate performance measurement.
You possess a multicultural mindset, agile development expertise, and a goal-oriented approach. With inspiring leadership, you build cross-functional, global networks and foster a climate where team members excel. You balance daily group tasks with a strategic leadership perspective, ensuring accountability for Thermal Management and aligning with common goals. Customer-focused, you prioritize value delivery, understand customer needs, and drive engagement by delegating responsibly, encouraging decisions, and recognizing achievements.
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
* MSc/BSc in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Computer Science engineering or similar.
* Minimum five years of leadership experience (line and/or project/product management) in the engineering field.
* Previous experience in leading complex system or component development, conducting simulations and verification activities, or managing vehicle hardware/software integrations, preferably within the automotive industry.
* Strong networking abilities and communication skills in a global and multicultural environment.
* Experience with Verification and Validation processes and activities.
* Good knowledge of Truck / Car complex systems and Thermal Management (ICE-BEV-Fuel cell drivelines & cab climate).


What will you do?
As a group manager, your key responsibilities include:
* Implement TM enablers and ensure smooth flow between groups, securing effective cross section working groups.
* Maintain and develop networks within GTT Thermal teams as well as Volvo Penta, Bus, and VCE Thermal groups.
* Secure on Vehicle level the Hardware/Software integration in term of performance.
* Support Product Section (Cab Climate & Thermal Supply) and other stream providing the right planning, process and equipment to enable Verification & Verification on System, subsystem, component, software level.
* Drive the team in innovation related to advanced engineering, patent, cost improvement and method development. Foster the growth and development of your team members through an innovation culture and a fun place to work. 
* Contribute to the TM budget by providing accurate inputs to the Data Simulation Verification section.
* As a part of the Data Simulation Verification section leadership team drive section and TM substream strategies. 
* Plan and secure group strategies, deliveries, and quality inline to overall section level strategy.

Dina arbetsuppgifter

I rollen som affärsutvecklare ansvarar du för att konkretisera och paketera ett starkt helhetserbjudande inom kyla och värme. Du fungerar som en viktig länk mellan affärsutveckling, marknad och försäljning. Rollen innebär både att leda interna utvecklingsinitiativ och att aktivt representera verksamheten i dialog med kunder och samarbetspartners. En central del av arbetet är att bygga och vårda långsiktiga relationer med såväl kunder, tekniska konsulter och andra aktörer inom kommersiella fastigheter, industri och offentliga byggnader.

I det dagliga arbetet samarbetar du nära säljarna i respektive region. Ditt huvudsakliga fokus är att identifiera affärsmöjligheter, initierar samarbeten och stärka verksamhetens position. Rollen är både strategisk och operativ, där du har förmågan att se helheten samtidigt som du tar initiativ och driver arbetet framåt. Resor är vanligt förekommer i tjänsten, både inom Sverige och internationellt och beräknas uppgå till omkring 50-100 dagar om året.

About the Role

Secure interfaces and Ways of Working (WoW) in an AGILE context related to GTT Technology and Vehicle Streams.

Required Qualifications:
• Graduate engineer with broad knowledge of Product Process development.

Vi är den funktion inom Göteborgs Spårvägar som arbetar med utförandet av en rad teknik-tjänster inom kollektivtrafiken.

Vi utför bland annat drift, underhåll och installation av trafiknära fordonsutrustning för både interna och externa kunder. Det kan innefatta service och installationer på olika fordonsslag så som bussar, båtar och spårvagnar. Områden som innefattas är bland annat videoövervaknings-, biljett-, radiokommunikations-, vägvals-, personräknings- och andra kringliggande system.

Bland de viktiga uppdragen ur ett säkerhetsperspektiv ingår även RAKEL-samordning, främst inom Göteborgs Spårvägar,?samt att vara kunskapsstöd för andra kommunala bolag. Dessutom säkerställer vi RAKEL-utrustningen i våra spårvägstunnlar.

Rollen som gruppchef är en operativ chefstjänst där du spenderar delar av din tid ute på fältet för att stötta dina servicetekniker. Du leder och fördelar det dagliga arbetet samt planerar, samordnar och genomför uppdrag i dialog med våra kunder. Dessutom ingår du i enhetens ledningsgrupp och verkar för enhetsövergripande samarbete, planering, förhållningssätt och utveckling. Du deltar aktivt i enhetens budgetarbete och ansvarar för fakturering samt tidsredovisning. I tjänsten ingår fullt personal-, budget-, och verksamhetsansvar för din grupp och du rapporterar till enhetschefen för Spår och kommunikationsteknik.

Our team is responsible for the design and development of the application SW, controlling the complete thermal management system, and the calibration and tuning of it. Meaning that we are responsible for Refrigerant loop and the Coolant loop functionality covering all sites and truck brands (among more) within the Volvo Group.
What will you do?
As an Embedded SW Engineer you plan your work according to the agile SAFE principals together with your team. The main responsibility of the team is the development of the Coolant Loop and Refrigerant loop Controller, acting as a central enabler in the thermal management system, realizing functionality that has clear customer impact. Within the role you will work with both new development towards future feature/function growth and with maintenance improving the system already on the market. You will have the opportunity to collaborate a lot with many surrounding teams within and outside of our direct organization. Today we have a very close collaboration with EMOB, testing facilities, testing teams, workshops, and more.

The Position


This position is based at Volvo Group headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.

As part of our global audit team, you will engage with operations across multiple markets and regions. You will typically participate in 4–5 audits per year, covering the full audit lifecycle — from planning and fieldwork to reporting and follow-up. You will assess business processes and internal controls, evaluate risk exposure, and provide actionable recommendations that support performance and continuous improvement.

You will also contribute to the evolution of our audit methodology, helping us adapt and stay aligned with Volvo Group’s fast-changing business environment and strategic goals.
