Ocean Infinity is seeking multiple Trainee Remote Survey Operators. This will involve learning a completely revolutionary way to acquire data within the industry and be at the forefront of marine technology.
Remote operators will control vessel survey systems from the comfort of the office in Gothenburg enabling discovery of the marine world through interactions with vessels operating all over the globe.

Our vessels work for a wide range of clients, and we pride ourselves on looking to lead the way in green solutions. As a trainee, you will be led through the various tasks that we perform offshore. These include interactions with subsea robotics and state of the art remote solutions. The main task of a remote operator is to manage and monitor the collection of data from survey payloads. This enables us to create a complete picture from the surface to the seabed and below. You will become a key member of the remote team helping to plan and implement day to day operations of the vessels initially under the supervision of senior operators.

What will you do:
Be trained in all the survey systems that are currently used by the company;
Introduced to our innovative remote setup;
Remotely operate and co-ordinate offshore survey activities for a vessel under the supervision;
Support of the remote operation team;
Logging and monitoring of all data acquired by the vessel. This ranges from monitoring vessel position, underwater positioning for subsea robotic, real-time view of 3D seabed sonar data, live underwater video streams and more;
Responsible to follow outlined project plans and keep to client requirements;
Being central to the communication between all departments and co-ordinating the survey plan;
Work with a team in our Gothenburg based operations centre that follows a shift pattern to cover 24 hour operations.


Who you are:
Degree level education;
Competent level of English;
Strong understanding of quality management such as standards, regulations, applicable policies and procedures;
Good practical experience with office tools: MS Office, Google Drive, Teams, e-mail, among others;
Strong communication skills;
Driven, proactive and able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company's purpose;
Critical thinking and ability to show initiative;
Open and receptive to new and different ideas.


Desirable:
Understanding of the marine environment through hobbies or work e.g. sailing, diving, surfing;
Strong interest in technology and computing.


Salary for the position: 360,000 SEK per year
Number of positions available: 15
Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.

I denna tjänsten ingår det att övervaka och styra färgbod och kemprocessen. Initiera och delta i ett strukturerat förbättringsarbete. Reparation och underhåll av färgbodsprocessen. Hantering av SAP, fakturor, följesedlar, beställningar samt mottagning och inventering av material och färgprognoser. Ansvara över skid och fixturer samt efter Planeringens bestyckningsplan utföra nödvändiga ombestyckningar för att på bästa sätt optimera lackkapaciteten. Tjänsten innebär också löpande kontakter med både interna och externa kunder / leverantörer och beredare / tekniker. I arbetet ingår också att hålla en god ordning och reda samt bidra till att avdelningens mål uppfylls, initiera och delta i företagets strukturerade förbättringsarbete. Arbetet kommer att innebära stora möjligheter till att arbeta med eller i projekt.

- Färg- och kemikaliehantering

- Övervaka samt styra lackeringsprocessen

- Göra korrigerande åtgärder för att minimera störningar

- Aktivt delta i Plasmans verksamhetsutvecklingsprogram

- Vidta lämpliga åtgärder vid avvikelser

- Att verka utifrån arbetsinstruktioner, lagar, avtal, föreskrifter och policys

Vi söker dig med teknisk utbildning på lägst gymnasienivå. Kunskaper inom lackering och färglära samt truckkort är meriterande. Du behärskar Microsoft Office och dina kunskaper i svenska och engelska är mycket goda i både tal och skrift. Du har stor kvalitetsmedvetenhet och är en naturlig lagspelare med känsla för kommunikation och service. Då arbetsgruppen idag endast består av 19 medarbetare fördelat på 4 skift, krävs det att du kan arbeta både självständigt och i grupp. Din personlighet är också av stor vikt, du ska ha en positiv attityd, stor nyfikenhet, stor initiativförmåga och gilla att lösa problem. Andra egenskaper som vi gärna ser att du har är: flexibilitet, struktur, prestigelöshet och ansvarstagande. Det krävs ett stort engagemang från dig som medarbetare för att ständigt höja vår servicenivå, både gentemot interna och externa kunder.

Responsibilities
Implement planning and scheduling practices in line with company procedures, supporting the Project Controls Manager and the team.
Develop and maintain planning control structures aligned with the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Monitor and manage planning activities throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and third parties to ensure up-to-date awareness of project activities, status, and impacts on schedules and manpower.
Assess and communicate the schedule impact of change notifications.
Track overall project progress, monitor achievement of key milestones, and analyze performance against planned targets.
Attend project progress and performance review meetings as required.
Contribute to schedule risk analysis when necessary.
Ensure all project schedules are fully logic-linked, displaying the critical path and total float for all activities.
Prepare regular progress and monthly reports, including program analysis and recommendations.



Requirements
Formal competences:
Excellent written and spoken English; Swedish language skills are an advantage.
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment is highly valued.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the Construction Industry, including at least 5 years in planning roles.
Strong expertise in both manual and computerized project planning and scheduling techniques.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required.
Experience with Primavera Cloud and PMP Certification is considered a plus.

Responsibility
Perform QC / P&L testing / S&E testing activities from sample reception to reporting and sample disposal.
Secure that the equipment in the lab is ok to use. The Quality technician performs maintenance and calibration activities that needs to be executed on the shift.
Ensure imminent containment activities and decision-making including escalation, according to the Non conformity management procedure, in case of non-conformities.
Interpret data and report data/results on daily basis.
Participate in quality planning, method development, continuous improvements.

Requirements
Formal competences
Technical gymnasium or vocational education (YH or similar)
Experience from working with quality in an industrial environment, in production or in a laboratory
English, level 5.
Knowledge in QC Methods & equipment’s.
Problem solving methods & tools; 8D and 6 sigma (yellow belt level)
