Job Description
Jeppesen, a subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is one of the largest software development companies in Gothenburg. We develop and implement innovative Crew and Operations management products for the world’s leading airlines.
The Digital Solutions & Analytics implementation department is responsible for the configuration and delivery of these systems to ensure airlines all over the world can optimize their crew members’ work schedules and aircraft utilization.

Jeppesen is looking for a System Configuration Developer for our Digital Solutions & Analytics implementation department based in Gothenburg, Sweden.


As System Configuration Developer you will be a key member of a dynamic team of 5-10, you will actively tailor innovative solutions to meet our clients' unique crew and aircraft planning needs. You will work closely with the client to handle expectations, building long-term relations and ensure our solution brings the customer optimal value. You will collaborate with your team and other departments to solve technical challenges and programming tasks in an efficient way.


We are looking for solution-oriented team members with expertise in software implementation. We put great emphasis on your personal characteristics and value individuals who have an analytical approach to problem solving, strong communication and collaboration skills both within and outside your team, an interest in technology as well as human relations and a curiosity to learn and explore new ways of doing things. For this position it is vital that you are passionate about learning the airline business and that you see yourself as a team player ready to contribute in workshops and communicating with different stakeholders as part of the requirements gathering and implementation process.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): :
2+ years of working experience
Experience working with Python
Advanced knowledge of the English language in both verbal and written communications



Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
MSc or BSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent
Airline and specifically Crew and / or Operations planning
Rave knowledge
Working with clients and their end users
Managing a codebase using a tool such as Git and GitLab/GitHub, or equivalent
Development and administration in Linux systems
Software testing
Functional Programming

The overarching role and objective for Innovation & Product Development (I&PD;) is to develop competitive Innovations that support sustainable and profitable growth in line with Commercial and Brand strategies, meeting Category objectives.
As a Product Development Stream-Lead, within the Category Innovation Team – Nicotine pouch products, a part of I&PD;, you will have a central role to design and support the future competitiveness and success of the oral nicotine pouch portfolio. More specifically, you'll
Contribute to the development and implementation of the Innovation strategy and plan that delivers on our business objectives
Lead Innovation projects or the technical stream of Innovation projects through the innovation process stage gates, i.e. from consumer insight to launch ensuring alignment with stakeholders and proper management of risks
To fuel the innovation pipeline, translate consumer insights and market needs to product requirements and connecting technical solutions with relevant consumer needs, proposing new innovation projects and development initiatives
Drive cross-functional ideation sessions by mining of consumer insights, market trends and technical possibilities
Together with expertise explore development opportunities utilizing external and internal technology and product development

Who we’re looking for
University degree with MSc in Chemistry / Biotechnology / Food Science or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience from innovation / product or technology development preferably within FMCG industry sector or other industry such as food, pharmaceuticals, material development in a multinational environment
Sound experience from project ownership and/or in leading complex multi-functional projects
Demonstrated strategic and analytical mindset, open and creative approach, that goes from word to deed
Good understanding of commercial aspects of innovation
Strong communication and presentation skills
Fluency in English, Swedish is an advantage

The ideal candidate will be responsible for technical maintenance and oversight of training courses and related deployment and infrastructure. Position Responsibilities:
- Transition Management: Plan and execute on the transition of existing courses from on-premises hosting to cloud-based solutions, including Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms
- Support and Implementation: Support course instructors in course migration and modernization, along with error correction
- Execution and Delivery: Ensure the execution of the roadmap, delivering on required capabilities and timelines while managing any associated risks
- Course Updates Coordination: Coordination of course updates in response to new major versions of underlying products, ensuring that all content remains current and relevant
- Technical Information Provision: Provide detailed technical information regarding course capabilities, capacity, and licensing of vendor software to Academy Crew management, and redirect inquiries to the appropriate technical personnel when necessary
- Roadmap Development: Collaborate with the Solution Offer Manager to create and maintain a roadmap that outlines the necessary technical capabilities to meet offer demands
- Multi-Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a multi-team environment, fostering collaboration and communication among various stakeholders to align on project goals
- Risk Assessment: Utilize technical expertise to identify potential risks and align estimates accordingly, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Process Development: Develop and implement processes to enhance the robustness and stability of the solution, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all users
- End-to-End Capability Management: Take ownership of the end-to-end capabilities of the Academy courses platform, ensuring that all technical aspects are functioning optimally

We have an opportunity for an IT End User Support Specialist (ITEUSS) to join The Company's DAS group to provide real-time IT operational support to end users, programs, and projects.
Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, the role will be responsible for performing a multidisciplinary range of technical systems and application activities. The ITEUSS will install, configure, and maintain multiplatform systems, hardware, software, and components. The specialist will also be responsible for delivering IT services, supporting end users, and contributing to IT projects within the assigned region or, as needed, occasionally in other regions. One of the key elements of the job will be the ability to optimize and automate tasks for IT technicians.


Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
? Deploy and administer IT systems in the assigned region, including end-user desktops/laptops, computing servers, network equipment, voice and video hardware, and mobile devices.
? Analyze computing requirements and system needs.
? Support multidisciplinary systems and application activities.
? Install, configure, and maintain systems, hardware, software, and components.

The IT End User Support Specialist (ITEUSS) reports to the DAS IT End-User Support Manager and receives functional guidance from Technical Leads. The ITEUSS frequently interacts with end users, IT Business Partners, IT Project Managers, and external service providers. Occasional business travel may be required, driven by business needs. Special project assignments, backfill requirements, or rotations may necessitate short-term assignments to other sites and regions. Significant flexibility is expected to perform off-hours activities, both on-site and remotely.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
? At least 5 years of total IT experience with hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure support and service delivery, both onsite and remotely.
? Previous experience working in a global IT team is highly desirable.
? A computing background and at least one or more professional technical certifications are highly desired (ITIL, Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco).
? Extensive IT technical support skills with superior knowledge of operating systems, software, and hardware.
? Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including server and network administration.
? Customer-focused with strong customer service skills and the ability to apply sensitivity and discretion when required.
? Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting commitments; maintains a positive attitude even in stressful situations.
? Knowledge and ability to use PowerShell, Bash, and other scripting languages is a plus.
