We are looking for a Digital Commerce Google Applications Specialist for a global company in Gothenburg. Start is in February, 11 months limited contract to begin with. This role can be performed 100% remote from anywhere in Sweden.

Assignment DescriptionJoin a dynamic team as a Digital Commerce Google Applications Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in leveraging Google's suite of products to drive innovation and efficiency in the digital commerce operations. This position requires a unique blend of project management expertise, comprehensive knowledge of Google's front-end and back-end applications, and a deep understanding of security protocols.

Tasks

Strategic Consultation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective strategies for leveraging Google's applications within the digital commerce ecosystem.


Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management for initiatives involving Google applications, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational goals.


Application Integration: Design and implement seamless integration of Google applications (such as Google Marketing Platform, Google Cloud Platform, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, etc.) with existing digital commerce platforms and systems.


Front-end and Back-end Expertise: Possess a comprehensive understanding of both front-end (user-facing) and back-end (administrative) functionalities of Google applications. Customize and optimize these applications to meet specific business needs.


Security Implementation: Implement robust security measures across Google applications to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Stay updated on the latest security best practices and proactively address any vulnerabilities.


Training and Support: Provide training sessions and ongoing support to internal stakeholders on how to effectively use Google applications for digital commerce activities. Serve as a subject matter expert and troubleshoot any technical issues as they arise.


Performance Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools within Google applications to analyze performance metrics and derive actionable insights for optimizing digital commerce processes and driving revenue growth.



Required skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.


Proven experience in project management, preferably in digital commerce or IT consulting roles.


Expertise in Google's suite of applications, with proficiency in both front-end and back-end functionalities.


Strong understanding of security principles and experience implementing security measures within digital environments.


Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making.


Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.


Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and Google Cloud Platform (e.g., Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect) are desirable.
