We at Global Service and Driver Training department(GST) in Service Market Technology(SMT), Global Bus Technology; deliver world-class knowledge and information management solutions to our service markets. We together own 2 products, ie, Retail competence and Driver handbook. We work in close cooperation with market colleagues, other SMT functions, Product development teams and Volvo Trucks. You will join a team of globally based colleagues in Mexico, Sweden, and Poland. 
 
ROLE DESCRIPTION 
The Driver handbook is a key product supporting drivers and in certain instances technicians with information on design and function of the bus; its’ systems and components. The position reports to Manager, Global service Training.  
 
Main activities and responsibilities:  
 
Drive, produce and publish product information for driver handbooks: 1. Drive end to end development of driver information products: driver handbook and quick guide 2. Continue developing Digital driver handbook features/next steps including launches 3. Drive and own the Driver handbook E2E process and strategy including Body builder partner management  
This role is much about networking and collaboration with people. An example of this is participating in all phases of our bus development projects and globally coordinate technical information retrieval to plan deliveries together with our suppliers, like system providers, translation agencies and illustrators. Collaborating and building cross functional relationships with IT system solution teams, Operations and other stakeholders is crucial. 
 
Additionally this role will manage planning deliveries ahead of each planning cycle.

Knowledge of the Volvo Bus product portfolio and required system applications is an advantage

Your mission

Select and evaluate EEE components and define appropriate analysis, testing methods and standards. Support the resolution of complex component-related issues.
Provide technical expertise on EEE component properties, technologies and design requirements. Drive component improvements and changes and act as a technical escalation point.
Define procurement specifications, screening strategies and incoming inspection requirements for EEE components.
Monitor component availability, obsolescence and alerts. Lead obsolescence management and define appropriate countermeasures.
Coordinate with suppliers on technical matters, escalations, audits and risk assessments. Support supplier selection and ensure compliance with technical requirements and delivery commitments.
Lead component inspection planning and coordinate quality control activities with relevant teams.
Lead cross-functional technical discussions and resolve integration issues across disciplines.
Apply export control requirements and ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, EU Dual-Use and related regulations. Maintain required documentation and support audits and regulatory inquiries.
Provide technical input to bids, proposals, quotations and concept development. Assess technical risks and support the definition of feasible solutions.
Act as a technical point of contact for products within the discipline. Drive improvements, standardization and cost-effective solutions throughout product development and introduction.
Own the technical execution, budget and schedule of assigned tasks. Manage priorities, coordinate activities and support colleagues within the discipline.
Lead technical decision-making and solve complex, high-impact problems. Apply sound engineering judgement while balancing technical, cost, schedule and business considerations. Mentor and challenge colleagues in problem solving.



Your story

Must’s:
M. Sc. Electrical Engineering/Engineering Physics or corresponding relevant level of education/experience
Space or Aerospace experience
Professional in communication with both internal and external interfaces
Profound knowledge of EEE components in the following fields:
Understanding of the customer proposal process
Understanding of radiation effects on electronic equipment
Experience in component construction analysis


Nice to have’s:
Knowledge of the space industry and market

Low Noise Factory (LNF) designs and produces the world’s best low noise microwave amplifiers. Job description and responsibilities
We are currently looking to expand our R&D department with an RF test and automation engineer. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our RF measurement and automation systems. You will be working closely with both our production and R&D teams to ensure we have reliable and efficient systems in place to streamline our production and qualification activities. You are expected to have a strong drive, attention to detail, and a goal-oriented mindset. As Privacy Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to management and business stakeholders, translating legal and regulatory requirements into practical and sustainable business solutions. JOB DESCRIPTION
Platform Development is a function within Global Bus Technology at Volvo Buses. We are responsible for developing platform solutions within the areas of Electrical & Software Architecture and Chassis & Drivelines.
We are now seeking a temporary acting Group Manager Electrical/Electronic Architecture within Electrical & Software Architecture who has the drive and passion to contribute to Volvo Buses profitability and who see that the key to success is to develop people and technologies to have products meeting future needs.
This group has a central role in the department with many interfaces to the other groups within Volvo buses as well as within Volvo group, since it is responsible for development of end user functions, systems and components within the platform area. This includes ownership of the platform core ECUs and functions such as vehicle modes. This group secures that we have a stable platform for the other product teams in the department to develop their functions upon.
As a Group Manager in the Electrical & Software Department at Volvo Buses you will have the responsibility to develop the group, technology and the people to support future needs contributing to Volvo Buses profitability. You will report to the Director of Electrical and Software Architecture.
Within your responsibility you will define, communicate and execute strategies and targets for the group and you will be the owner of the technology area. You will be part of delivering technical solutions to concept, industrialization, maintenance as well as advanced engineering projects according to quality, delivery, cost and feature targets. Prioritization and direction setting for short- and long-term activities are part of your day-to-day activities.
Since we are a rather small company, we all work with broad responsibilities and cross-functionally through the entire company, across many different departments, cultures, and competence areas and to manage your future challenges you will need to build a broad network within and outside of the Volvo Group.

Till vår fabrik i Tuve söker vi nu mekaniker till vår justeringsavdelning. I rollen kommer du att arbeta med att justera och bygga lastbilar efter ordinarie produktion samt utföra kundanpassningar i eftermonteringen. Arbetet innefattar även att åtgärda rapporterade fel och komplettera missat eller saknat material. Vi erbjuder en utvecklande roll i en engagerad verksamhet där du får möjlighet att arbeta nära produkten och bidra till hög kvalitet i slutresultatet.
Dina arbetstider kommer att vara förlagda dagtid 06:42 – 15:48 eller kvällstid 15:48 – 00:42.
 
Arbetsuppgifter
Justering och komplettering av fordon i efterprocessen
Kundanpassningar och eftermontering av lastbilar
Åtgärda rapporterade fel och avvikelser
Arbeta utifrån monteringsinstruktioner och ritningar/sprintar
Samarbete med kollegor och andra avdelningar

 
Vi tror att du är snabblärd, flexibel och har en god samarbetsförmåga. Du trivs i en praktisk miljö och tycker om att arbeta lösningsorienterat.
 
Kvalifikationer
B-körkort
Godkända?gymnasiebetyg i kärnämnena Svenska 1, Engelska 5 och Matematik A?
Minst 1 års erfarenhet av arbete inom produktion, industri, eller verkstad
God maskin- och verktygsvana
God förmåga att tolka monteringsinstruktioner och läsa ritningar/sprintar
God produktkännedom med kunskap om fordon
Meriterande om du har C-kort och en utbildning som mekaniker

Together with your team, you will be responsible for developing a competitive and attractive offering for our Off-Highway business. This includes balancing budget versus product portfolio and maintaining portfolio efficiency throughout its lifecycle, from a technical, commercial, and customer application perspective.

Together with your team, you will plan, initiate, and launch projects with a market-oriented approach, acting as the voice of the customer. You will also be responsible for specifying the desired features and following up on them in the projects. Establishing a clear execution plan for the Off-Highway product portfolio will be key, alongside enhancing the Commercial organization’s ability to create strong value propositions.

Together with your team, you will build and maintain Volvo Penta’s OEM application expertise, guide and develop your global team, and foster collaboration across business functions.
