THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES 
We at Global Service and Driver Training department(GST) in Service Market Technology(SMT), Global Bus Technology; deliver world-class knowledge and information management solutions to our service markets. We together own 2 products, ie, Retail competence and Driver handbook. We work in close cooperation with market colleagues, other SMT functions, Product development teams and Volvo Trucks. You will join a team of globally based colleagues in Mexico, Sweden, and Poland. 
 
ROLE DESCRIPTION 
The Driver handbook is a key product supporting drivers and in certain instances technicians with information on design and function of the bus; its’ systems and components. The position reports to Manager, Global service Training.  
 
Main activities and responsibilities:  
 
Drive, produce and publish product information for driver handbooks: 1. Drive end to end development of driver information products: driver handbook and quick guide 2. Continue developing Digital driver handbook features/next steps including launches 3. Drive and own the Driver handbook E2E process and strategy including Body builder partner management  
This role is much about networking and collaboration with people. An example of this is participating in all phases of our bus development projects and globally coordinate technical information retrieval to plan deliveries together with our suppliers, like system providers, translation agencies and illustrators. Collaborating and building cross functional relationships with IT system solution teams, Operations and other stakeholders is crucial. 
 
Additionally this role will manage planning deliveries ahead of each planning cycle.

REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE  
Education in Technical Writing, Communication, Engineering, Marketing and/or equivalent experience from automotive industry. 
Understanding and developing technical information and illustrations 
Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
Project management skills 
Fluent in written and spoken English  
Knowledge of the Volvo Bus product portfolio and required system applications is an advantage

Low Noise Factory (LNF) designs and produces the world’s best low noise microwave amplifiers. Job description and responsibilities
We are currently looking to expand our R&D department with an RF test and automation engineer. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our RF measurement and automation systems. You will be working closely with both our production and R&D teams to ensure we have reliable and efficient systems in place to streamline our production and qualification activities. You are expected to have a strong drive, attention to detail, and a goal-oriented mindset. We welcome applications from experienced professionals as well as new graduates with the relevant background.
Responsibilities
Maintain onsite RF measurement and automation systems.
Design and validate new measurement and automation systems to support and streamline production and validation.
Develop tools integrating with order planning and traceability.

Requirements and qualifications
M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree with 3 years of relevant experience in electronic engineering or a related field.
Solid knowledge of RF and microwave engineering.
Hands-on experience with RF measurement equipment, such as VNA.
Experience in programming, including Python.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Delivery-focused, meticulous, and a team contributor.



Valuable additional skills
In-depth understanding of microwave test systems.
Direct experience in RF test automation.
Experience with coaxial, waveguide, and wafer probing equipment.
Experience with automated wire bonder and pick-and-place machines.
Experience with cryogenic characterization.

A Software Engineer provides expertise and service for embedded processing and payload solutions to development projects and is part of the satellite on-board software development life-cycle. Establish a design based on the technical requirements and architectural design.
Write and debug C and Assembler code for our target systems (Sparc, PowerPC, RiSC-V or ARM).
Write the technical software documentation and configures all work items.
Support meetings with customers and subcontractors, and when necessary, manage technical issues related to this.
Pro-actively collaborates with adjacent System, FPGA and HW development teams.
Designs all kinds of software unit, integration and validation tests at all levels to close requirements.

Your Crew
SME Component Engineer mission is to build upon their technical expertise to provide key contribution on all stage of product and project development. Involved in complex project on mutiple tasks and providing guidance in their relevant field. You will act as a core team member in projects with support from Project Lead Buyer and ensures the well execution of task in line with stakeholder requirements. The SME Component Engineer conducts parts incoming inspections and supports on site EEE parts failure investigations and analysis.

Your Mission
· EEE components technical knowledge:
- Strong understanding of EEE component properties and applications.
- Can handle complex component selection tasks.
- Can troubleshoot complex component related issues.

· Component selection and qualification for space applications:
- Strong understanding of component selection and qualification processes to deliver in line with customer reuirements, cost, and demand.
- Can handle complex tasks independently.
- Support in definition of new company standards.

· Definition of procurement specification, screening approach etc.:
- Define component procurement specifications and incoming inspection instructions for EEE components to deliver in line with customer quality, cost, and demand.

· Analysis of test report results (DPA, CA, etc.):
- Strong understanding of EEE component analysis and test methods (DPA, CA, etc.).
- Know testing methods and select the appropriate standard.
- Able to interpret results.

· Lifecycle Management (parts obsolescence, availability, alerts, etc.):
- Strong understanding of related processes.
- Participate in obsolescence review boards.
- Communicate alerts actively.
- Follow process definition.

· Supplier Coordination:
- Can manage simple supplier communications independently; can request quotes, interpret lead times and costs; supports supplier selection and evaluation process on technical level

· Production Support:
- Leads Root Cause investigation from technical stand point and secure measures for corrective and preventive actions.
- Actively propose technical solutions in his field of activity.
