Garment/Design Technician Intern

At NA-KD we have a full-stack design, production and purchaseteam working with our private labels and creating collections for our unique collaboration with global Social Infuencers (Instagram celebrities, bloggers, etc). Now, we are seeking an intern forgarment/design technicians to join our amazing team!

Responsibilities

- Work with the entire product development chain from sketch to finished collection
- Make detailed sketches of garments instructions / sketches manually and in Adobe Illustrator
- Create lists of measurements, perform design modifications and to ensure the fit of our garments
- Create lists of measurements for all sizes (grading)
- Implement tests and measure of factory samples and final product
- Notify and monitor changes and comments to our suppliers
- Work closely with the design team

The Ideal Candidate

- Garment Technician Training or/and experience in similar position
- Experience in pattern design, fit and graduation
- Good knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good knowledge of textile materials and sewing
- Good English skills, both speech and writing
- Ability to multitask in high pace where rapid changes are common
- You are creative, well-organized, flexible, independent and are a team player who brings joy and inspiration into a group

Speed to consumer (S2C) quality manager

The S2C (speed to consumer) quality manager in NA-KD is responsible for the day to day operations including examining and measuring proto, fit and production samples to ensure accurate execution of requested measurements, quality, construction and overall fit of garments.

This candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience in Women’s Apparel covering denim, knitwear, woven, outerwear and cut & sew jersey. The S2C quality manager will aid designers in achieving desired point of view of garments when creating technical packages and evaluating overall fit and construction.

We are looking for a professional technician who understands what the consumer needs in terms of commercially successful product. The S2C quality manager will report directly to the S2C manager.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

- Expert knowledge of fit, patternmaking, fabrics, grading, and construction standards
- Troubleshoot potential production issues for aesthetic, quality and cost purposes
- Translate field input on customer fit and quality experience to strategically improve the consumers' future experience with product and service to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conducts and manages fit sessions to determine and execute proper fit: including measuring and prepping samples for fitting, taking notes and digitals during fit sessions
- Support & assist Design in establishing all product specifications required in the Tech Pack
- Generating technical packages for factory including: clear and organized fit comments, sketches/digitals, specifications and construction details.
- Communication to the factory regarding fit, specification, construction and production questions
- Travel to factories to work with technical teams to advance production approval timelines (including bulk fabric, colour lab dips, print strike of, trims approvals)

Requirements

- A trained eye for proportion and balance as well as aesthetic detail
- Knowledge of how product is sourced, developed and marketed
- High level of computer proficiency. PLM, MS Office essential. Illustrator /Photoshop required
- Technical knowledge of garment construction including knowledge of sewing, pattern making and an ability to do technical flat sketches.
- Ability to influence and navigate thru difficult situations with little or no supervision. Highly solution oriented
- Need to be eager to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

Business Development Manager

We are currently looking for a dedicated growth-oriented Business Development Manager. You will be a core part of the expansion team and manage new projects and channels independently.

The expansion team works cross-functionally, which means you will be involved in all aspects of launching new growth opportunities and improving existing processes. Projects that you would manage could include launching a new brand, shaping our go-to-market model for new markets or analyzing growth levers. You will work closely with the company’s Chief Growth Officer and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will gain exceptional insights into our business by driving projects from idea all the way to implementation as well as deep-dive into current processes to deliver incremental improvements. Qualification and prior experience

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or similar from a top-tier university
- 2-5 years’ experience from management consulting, investment banking, high-growth startups or similar. Previous experience from retail, marketplaces and e-commerce is an advantage
- Significant exposure to working in cross-cultural environments
- Fluency in English required. Fluency in additional European languages is preferred
- Excellent quantitative skills, used to building financial models and analyzing and acting on large amounts of data
- Ability to multi-task. You will be running multiple projects at the same time and manage a variety of different work streams.
- Previous experience in sales, project management and fast-moving entrepreneurial environments is a big advantage in this role.

- In depth knowledge of the CSR field, gained through experience in a similar role
- Passionate about the role CSR can play in the development of a successful business, and the drive to make a difference
- A proven track record in planning and managing projects end-to-end with minimal day to day supervision.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust, and generate and maintain close working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- You’ll need to be a critical thinker and persuader, supporting the Marketing SLT with priorities, critical decisions and actions that are required of them as individuals and as a team.
