About the role
As the Head of Procurement in our Nordic cluster you will be responsible for the purchasing function for Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway which means having the functional and disciplinary management-response for a team of 4 people.
You are responsible for leading and distributing strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives in close collaboration with our global procurement function and other internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities also include driving operational- and process development and you also have the overall responsibility to ensure our suppliers performance and contracts.
The goal is to ensure that the deliveries from the function are appropriate, with high quality and with a high level of customer satisfaction.
The role reports functionally to the Regional Head of Procurement and geographically to the Cluster CFO.
Key responsibilities:
* Leading the team by setting goals and continuously monitoring performance.
* Drive the overall target of standardization of sourced goods and services of the indirect supplier portfolio.
* Supplier Relationship Management (build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers including contract negotiation and performance monitoring).
* Ensure we have an appropriate Demand Planning structure.
* Risk Management within Supply.
* Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, we believe you have substantial experience in a similar position including strategic sourcing, Procurement, or supply chain management. We think you have a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, ideally in a matrix set-up.
Your leadership is imbued with the desire to see people grow and you have a passion for both people and business.
You have a university degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
Other competencies and skills needed:
* Strong knowledge of Procurement processes, best practices, and market trends.
* Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
* Extensive expertise in indirect Procurement and Procurement methodology including processes, systems, and toolboxes.
* Experienced in utilizing Procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, proficient in data analysis methods including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and a strong willingness to embrace new technologies.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to utilize data and insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
* Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge in any of our Nordic languages is a bonus.
