Join our innovative Trade management department! Being a Data Scientist at Stena Line you will code, maintain and understand the product and its users. You will mostly be working on building, validating, and managing advanced prediction, simulation, optimization, and reinforcement learning models and algorithms.

Further, you will be investigating how to best utilize data and bring recommendations for improvement to the rest of the organization.

Qualifications: 
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Operations research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or similar
- Strong background in modeling, optimization and algorithms
- Experience or a strong interest in developing high-quality software
- Experience in developing optimization tools
- Knowledge and experience in using Python for scientific computing, with libraries such as pandas, scipy, scikit-learn, and plotly.
- Familiar with general Data Science/Machine learning concepts and tools.
- Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift is meriting
- Great at visualizing and communicating technical results
- Fluent in English, written and spoken

We are looking for an enthusiastic and open-minded team player to join our Procurement transformation journey.

The role as Procurement Support at Stena Line is a dynamic and multifaceted position that plays a crucial part in the procurement process. It involves a mix of administrative support, operational assistance, and analytical tasks to ensure that procurement systems and processes run efficiently. By maintaining the smooth operation of procurement tools and systems, you contribute significantly to the overall success of the procurement function. 

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Perform operational procurement support for Supplier Management, Contract Management, Procurement and Sourcing
- Act as a key user and admin expert for our spend tool
- Work with supplier consolidation and ensure mainstreaming of new purchases
- Support the Procurement Sustainability Manager with the implementation of the Procurement Sustainability roadmap
- Evaluate existing suppliers in line with Stena Line procedures in co-operation with Business functions and Category managers
- Ensure that supplier records are up to date and that suppliers are entering data upon request
- Provide analytical data to the Procurement team

Qualifications: 
- Business degree in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience of Purchasing
- Strong finance acumen
- Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
- Excellent IT skills, Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel etc.

We are looking for an analytical Process Expert to join our procurement transformation journey.

The Procurement Process & System Lead role is a crucial position within the procurement department at Stena Line. This role focuses on streamlining procurement activities by developing, implementing, and upkeeping effective systems, tools, and processes. It is not just about keeping things running smoothly; it is about revolutionizing the procurement process to boost efficiency, achieve significant cost reductions, and maintain strict adherence to both internal and external standards. The person who will take on this new role will be at the forefront of transforming procurement into a strategic asset for the organization, ensuring that every process is optimized for top performance.

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement solutions in existing systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead the selection, customization, and implementation of procurement systems and tools
- Identify opportunities for process optimization within the procurement function and lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement
- Oversee procurement data management activities, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure procurement processes comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices
- Act as a liaison between procurement and other departments to ensure integration and alignment of processes and systems
- Lead procurement system and process improvement projects from inception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget

- Ability to envision and articulate how technology can transform procurement operations to stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent project management skills and change management capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
