About the role:
As System Engineer Manager you will lead and be the forefront of a growing team. Your main responsibility is to manage and guide the technical aspects of system development. The team are responsible for technical management and system engineering, this includes overseeing system analysis, defining specifications, conducting tests, and ensuring smooth deployment of systems. Other responsibilities include integration of various sensors, communication systems, electrical and mechanical components.

Example of work tasks

- Lead the System Engineering Teams, develop, provide guidance, fostering collaboration and contribute to the teams though your technical knowledge.

- Supervise the design and development of diverse, multidisciplinary engineering teams

- Guide the definition of system characteristics and architecture to ensure cohesive development

- Conduct systematic reviews to maintain the quality through efficiency of the system engineering process.

- Supervise the definition of system validation, integration, and testing processes for project evaluation.

To Succeed in this role, you:

- Have a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, software engineering or equivalent

- Have several years of relevant experience within multidisciplinary functions and as a defense system engineer.

- Have experience as a R&D project manager.

- Proficient in both spoken and written English.

- Comprehensive understanding of complex systems.

It is meritorious but not a requirement if you have a background in C4I systems, radio systems and/or networks.

As a person, you thrive on taking initiative, are passionate about influencing and developing both individuals and technology. You have good communication skills, and the ability to build relationships. You inspire other both by listening and by challenging.

You also have strong analytical skills and a strong problem-solving ability.

Ansvarsområde
Som Chef för Project Central kommer du att ha en central roll i att strategiskt utveckla och säkra framdriften hos enheten. Du kommer att leda, inspirera och engagera ditt ledningsteam bestående av ett antal gruppchefer inom ditt uppdragsansvar samt säkerställa att verksamhetens uppsatta mål nås. Chefen för Project Central leder ett team på två gruppchefer och har fullt ansvar för personal, ekonomi och resultat. Enheten beräknas innefatta två gruppchefer med tillhörande medarbetare och ett antal konsulter inom den centrala projektgruppen PMT 9 samt avdelningens Projektkontor.

Vår samarbetspartner i Sisjön söker dig med erfarenhet av att leda utvecklingsprojekt, agilt arbete och med förmåga att ta beslut och driva på arbetet. Detta är ett konsultuppdrag med möjlighet att på sikt gå över i anställning hos vår samarbetspartner.
Du förväntas ta ägarskap av två produkter som förbättrar bilhandlares översikt av affär och resultat. Systemutvecklingsteamet på sex personer är självgående i sitt arbete och det primära i din roll är att strukturera, prioritera och vägleda teamet i utvecklingsarbetet. Du förväntas leda och driva regelbundna möten med bilhandlarna tillsammans med delar av utvecklingsteamet för att se över kundnöjdheten, eventuella frågor och problem samt se över nya funktioner och förbättringsförslag. Leading the design and implementation of IT security architectures across diversified projects.
Providing support to system engineers and development engineers.
Leading a cross-functional IT security deployment team.
Leveraging strong hands-on experience with IT security systems and services, deployment automation, and security configuration management.

To succeed in this role, you:
Have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience required.
An excellent understanding of best practices within information security and risk management and knowledge of current and emerging cyber security threats.
Handle responsibility for infrastructure security domain, collaboration with developers to ensure SDLC security, and possessing knowledge of information security systems and solutions (IPS, NAC, EDR, Firewall), including whitelisting and secure browsing.
Have experience from work with organizational information security systems such as SIEM and SOC, along with expertise in networking fundamentals, including Routers, Switches, and WAN/LAN communication.
Have worked with IT systems including Virtualization tools (such as VMWare, HyperV), Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, GPO, DNS, etc.), and Linux, coupled with deep knowledge in networking and operating systems.
Have relevant Cyber security certificates (such as CISSP, CISM, CCIE or similar)
Are fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish

While not required, it is advantageous if you have experience in the defense sector.
We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical skills and a self-learning mindset, coupled with problem solving and troubleshooting abilities. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to influence others effectively, collaborating seamlessly across departments within the organization, as well as with external vendors and partners. Om tjänstenSom Produktionsledare hos Elbit Systems Sweden kommer du att ha en nyckelroll i att forma, driva och utveckla produktionen samt installationen av teknisk utrustning. Kompetens inom processledning och förmåga att arbeta enligt Lean, Six Sigma, eller liknande
Goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både i tal och skrift
Svensk medborgare
Körkort

Det är inget krav men meriterande om du har tidigare erfarenhet från genomförd värnplikt eller har varit verksam inom Försvarsmakten samt har arbetat med projektledning inom försvarssektorn. Har erfarenhet från MS project eller liknande verktyg.
