Volvo Cars is on an ambitious journey when it comes to electrification, aiming for 50% of global sales to be pure electrified by 2025 and with the first pure electrified cars being introduced during 2020. About us
Car Service Business is an organization within Volvo Cars with the purpose to enable an effortless car usage and service experience. 
We are implementing regional battery centers to ensure we get the most out of the batteries in our electric cars. The battery center will manage storage, analysis and repair/remanufacture as well as building battery packs for electric cars.
The unit responsible for this is Battery Lifecycle Services, and we are now looking for a a battery method engineer to the team.

About the position
We are looking for a skilled method engineer specialized in electrical/high voltage vehicles, to develop service & repair instructions used by battery center technicians globally.
Our production content includes development methods and instructions for diagnosis, repair, refurbishing and end of line testing as well as charging of stand-alone batteries in collaboration with the battery center technicians, Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering. We also evaluate new production ideas, concepts, technology, and commercial performance.

What you will do
•    You will be responsible to create the repair methods for the high voltage batteries.
•    You will align and manage your working time according to the project timeline.
•    You will be actively involved gathering information from other teams.
•    You will perform work, test the methods and procedures on high voltage batteries.
•    You will have a key role working with different people in different teams to meet the project deadline.

You and your skills
To be successful in this role, you have earned a B.Sc. degree or equivalent and preferably technical knowledge both in general and vehicle specific with relevant qualifications. 
It would be beneficial to have the experience working with projects, related to high voltage vehicles/batteries.
Have experience in using VIDA, TIE, VCATS, DSA, KDP, Team Center or similar systems is meritorious. 
You have excellent cross-functional working skills and experience from working with projects.
Experience from Agile way of working is meritorious.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

A sense for good logic and structured way of working will be important in this role, as well as a high ability to work in teams and individually based on the task in hand. 
You need to have very good communication skills, curiosity and aneagerness to investigate, learn and drive for change to be able to accomplish results. You have drive and passion for continuous improvements in your daily work as well as a high ability to work in teams, individually and multicultural.

Din uppgift
Som Business Analyst (BA) / kravledare kommer du tillhöra en enhet med kravledare, testledare och projektledare inom Utveckling & Digitalisering och tillhöra kompetenscentret Krav- & Testledning.

I rollen kommer du främst agera BA/kravledare men kan ibland komma att agera i andra närliggande roller, oftast då kombinerat med BA-rollen.

I det dagliga arbetet kommer du jobba i olika kontexter över tid beroende på vilka projekt och initiativ som är aktuella. I rollen driver du arbetet att ta fram verksamhetens och kundernas behov och sammanställer detta både i stora och mindre projekt, alternativt agila team. Du strukturerar sedan dessa behov i form av krav, användarberättelser, acceptanskriterier, kundresor eller vad som är överenskommet i det projekt eller team du jobbar i. Du verkar inom både nyutveckling, vidareutveckling och upphandlingar av system och tjänster.

Ibland agerar du uppdragsledare där man kan komma att leda förstudier, agera testledare, agera scrum master eller leda mindre agila projekt och då ofta i kombination med BA-rollen.

Ytterligare ansvar innebär att vara med och vidareutveckla kompetenscentret Krav & Testledning tillsammans med övriga Krav & Testledare.





Ditt team
Enheten består av ca 10 medarbetare och lika många konsulter som jobbar utspritt i olika projekt, agila team och andra uppdrag. Du kommer ingå i ett team av Krav & Testledare som tillsammans bygger upp ett kompetenscentrum runt krav och test.

Många samarbeten finns både inom enheten och utanför, tex med projektledare, arkitekter, utvecklare, verksamhetsutvecklare och affärsområdesansvariga. En dag består av både återkommande arbetsuppgifter och nya utmaningar.





Din kompetens
Vi ser att du har högskoleingenjörsexamen inom systemvetenskap, Data/IT eller likvärdigt område. Du har också några års relevant yrkeserfarenhet inom kravledning hands-on. Erfarenhet av att jobba med metoder och verktyg som till exempel kundresor, service blueprints, backlogghantering, användarberättelser och acceptanskriterier väger tungt. Likaså tekniska kunskaper inom verktyg för kravhantering.

Det är meriterande att ha jobbat med upphandlingar, arkitektur, produktutveckling, verksamhetsutveckling, processutveckling eller tjänsteutveckling. Erfarenhet eller intresse av testledning är också meriterande.

Karaktären på arbetsuppgifterna gör att det är bra om du är flexibel, kan arbeta självständigt men att du även har god samarbetsförmåga, är serviceinriktad och tar initiativ när någon uppgift behöver lösas. What you’ll do 

In Digital Core we will create a secure digital infrastructure that enables growth, scale, and efficiency. At Volvo Cars, we intend to improve the digital backbone by building out necessary capabilities for our future business, but also by decreasing technical debt and unlocking efficiencies in our current business capabilities. What we do
Volvo Cars has established a central function to manage the company’s Used Cars and Remarketing operations. The team is working in close collaboration with the wider business on global matters.
Volvo Global Used Cars and Remarketing is now looking for a new Manager, Global Export and Trade Operations (E&T), who will manage the Global Used Cars Export operations, working in close collaboration with the National Sales Companies (NSC’s) and various central functions.  You will work in an area with significant impact on the company’s short-term business as well as long-term strategies. You will report to the Head of Global Used Cars Export and Trade.

What will you do?
The Manager, Global Export and Trade Operations (E&T) has the overall operational responsibility for the current Global Export &Trade; business, now in 26 countries, with the aim to increase the share of Volvo Used Cars (UC) through the Volvo network. Once implemented, the Manager, Global Export and Trade will have the overall operational responsibility for the E&T business globally (in APEC, Europe, LATAM).  

A majority of your job will be to manage the weekly online international cross-border auctions and approved online methods for selling vehicles internationally, cross-border. You should expect a collaborative and fast-moving work environment where your responsibilities related to the online international cross-border auctions and sales include:
* Management of weekly international cross-border auctions and other approved online cross-border sales methods in close cooperation with the NSC’s and their vendors and where retailers from different countries can bid and buy vehicles.
* Reporting of the international cross-border online sales results weekly, monthly, annually, and as required to support the overall business needs.
* Analysis of the international cross-border online sales and sales results to track success versus your KPI, to support continuous improvement of the global export and trade operations.
* Onboarding of new buying and selling countries in close cooperation with the NSC’s.
* Close cooperation with the NSC’s and their retailers and vendors, monitoring customer satisfaction, intervening as required, and recommending associated improvements.
* Continuous work to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Global Export and Trade.
* You will work closely to guide the new Remarketing Specialist, Global Export and Trade (E&T). The Remarketing Specialist, Global Export and Trade will support you with your global operational responsibilities for the global export and trade business.


You will also be involved with other topics within the Global Used Cars and Remarketing scope. You will collaborate with and support your teammates on Remarketing sales, Export & Trade and Remarketing Operations who will likewise support you and you will support the Head of Global Used Cars and Remarketing on other strategic topics.

Som underhållstekniker El/Styr har du en central roll i att underhålla och förbättra vår process med din spetskompetens.
Ansvara för och utveckla backuprutiner och metoder för våra PLC system som Siemens, ABB-Pluto, Binar, SEW.
Vid behov stötta våra underhållselektriker i mer avancerad felsökning & problemlösning.
Vår maskinpark består av både nya och gamla maskiner avsedda för formning av plåtkomponenter, utrustningen har en hög automatiseringsgrad inom hydraulik, pneumatik, mekanik, El/PLC.


Du och dina färdigheter

Vi ser att du som söker tjänsten har minst gymnasial utbildning med inriktning mot industriautomation och arbetat mot producerande verksamhet. Du innehar kompetens inom maskin, el och felsökning och har god teknisk och mekanisk förståelse. Som person är du självgående med stort eget driv.

What's in it for you

Manufacturing Engineering's mission: “Our people develop global, lean production processes to create the best manufacturing environments." Our main customers are manufacturing plants, to whom we supply installations of equipment, industrial strategy plans, methods and know-how. As an Equipment Engineer in our department, you daily work to create world-class, global, lean, highly efficient, and flexible industrial systems within the area of equipment automation.

The Group Technology & Industrialization is part of Manufacturing Engineering Body and has the responsibility for developing and implementing equipment solutions for product projects, running changes, capacity projects, and non-product projects according to project targets. You will be part of a process & technology team (belonging to Technology& Industrialization) and the work also includes network with the global ME technology team, plant engineering, and production within our company as well as with external suppliers.

The position requires some traveling.

What you’ll do

As our next Equipment Engineer Joining, your tasks will include: 
•    For new projects, responsible for the RFQ for joining, lead/follow the standard for joining, technical communication with the supplier, joining equipment design review, and buy-off.
•    In charge of brand selecting of joining equipment, setting process solutions, setting and managing joining equipment parameters, inspecting and debugging.
•     Support to resolve the problems in manufacturing, increase efficiency and quality, review work regularly, upgrade the team competence, and help to coach the new employees in our team.
•    Assist the production team in upgrading efficiency, lowering cost, setting standard work time, and improving product quality.
•    Participate in preparing new projects, foresight the potential problems during manufacturing, and resolve them in time.
•    Fulfil other tasks assigned by superior.

What you’ll bring 

We believe you:
•    Have a B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent competence gained by experience.
•    Have good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
•    Have experience in equipment projects
•    Have experience in Resistance welding/DAW/GMAW/laser skills OR
•    Have experience in adhesive /adhesive vision/Nut runner/Heming/SPR skills

It is meritorious if you have the skill of the FDF (flow drill fasteners) and tools (Teamcenter) at Manufacturing. Robotic competence is also a plus.

As a person, we believe you have great communication skills and you collaborate well with others. We also think you are a structured person who plans and has documentation skills. Self-driven, result-oriented, flexible, and positive attitude.
