About this opportunity
We are making Ericsson a (more) data- and ai-driven company! Join our team as an Operational Product Owner (OPO) in the Networks Analytics Foundation. As an OPO you will help us evolve this foundation to ensure its suitability for upcoming data and analytics use cases. You will also act as an enthusiast, helping Ericsson Research & Development to work more efficiently by using data and ai technologies.

We set out to address the main shortcomings in any project based on data. We see our users struggling with for example:
Availability of data and data products
Availability of development environment and infrastructure
Availability of templates, libraries and frameworks
Availability of knowledge and support


In this role, you will help our users to overcome any obstacle they meet on their digitalization journeys and bring in important architectural enablers to the foundation to make our offer even stronger.
The data projects we support are helping Ericsson to drive speed and quality in our releases, are providing the sales force with facts for up-sell opportunities, and are helping our troubleshooters to identify and tackle problems with ease and speed.
We are working in a program set-up and you will, together with our Portfolio Area Owner (PAO), our Program Manager and other Operational Product Owners, lead our teams in the evolution of the foundation.

What you will do
Through networking and user interaction you will identify new use case opportunities
Lead teams developing new enablers in the foundation
Attend all aspects of data governance and data management to keep data searchable, safe and available
Guide users how to make the best use of our offerings
Ensure that the IT services we offer our users are stable, reliable, and available
Help the organization grow by identifying and closing competence gaps
Identify and drive improvements
Assist in building a culture and environment, ensuring engagement, proactivity, collaboration, strong performance, and high professional ethics


You will bring
Solid experience as a network builder and leader of a technical organization in a multi-stakeholder environment
Very good communication and collaboration skills
A service mind set and an analytical, structured and result oriented approach
Passion for motivating changes, driving innovation and, an eagerness to set and meet performance targets
Proven experience from software development and DevOps
Preferably good experience related to data governance and data management
Knowledge about open- and inner-source
Proficient language skills in written and spoken English

About this opportunity
Join a team that is leading the Global Network Management Customer Adaptation business. The team is set to define as well as develop services business to support Ericsson customer engagements & software deliveries beyond the standard Product offering. The team drives service development, service industrialization and provides key competence in customer delivery engagements implemented together with our offshore teams.
We are opening a position for a Software Developer to join and strengthen up the expertise on our customer built software services around the Ericsson Network Management suite. The engagements are global, work will be carried with both colleagues internally as well as customers and suppliers to Ericsson globally. In most engagements, delivery is carried remotely but there could be occasional cases of travel worldwide for internal or customer activities.
As one of our key developers, your involvement in end to end activities in most things we do, from Product reviews to customer deliveries and asset creation is key! It will require good analytical and technical skills, social skills and a strong personal drive and demeanor to learn.
What you will do
Support pre-sales activities, including identifying customer opportunities and needs as well as support performing pre-studies and commercial offerings to customers
Craft solution designs and configurations in customer networks
Drive implementation process and develop customer adaptations
Support strategy and new service development activities
Lead remote and on-site customer deliveries.
Support identify and drive product/solution and serviceability improvements and requirements towards Ericsson product units and services teams

You will bring
Software solutioning and design experience (work package definition, solution design, testing, etc.) in some or several of the used languages, tools and protocols such as:
Java SE/EE, Python and Go, including multithreaded/process, unit testing and distributed systems
Experience of Web Design (JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML, CSS)
Cloud native architecture, containers, K8s, Docker, Micro Services, Helm
SNMP/REST/NetConf/CORBA/Kafka/OpenAPI
Spring Boot, GitLab/GitRunner, Software artifact repository e.g., JFrog, Jira
Linux

2. Knowledge and experience in automation, AI/ML, agile ways of working, software engineering principles and process transformation
3. Ability to drive work in a structured & proactive manner, with good communicate skills verbally and in writing, focusing on explaining technical solution to different stakeholders on their level

About this opportunity
We are looking for a System Manager (SM) for packet core development with focus on 3GPP session control plane functionality. You will be part of the System Manager community and connected development teams, where you jointly plan the work and share tasks and knowledge.

You will also be working in close collaboration with system architects and product owners, handling requirements and influence future evolvement in the area. Some of the challenges are maintaining focus on priorities, communicate, encourage and be active in studies needed to drive the area towards the product vision. During large complex system development, it´s important that some persons keep a complete view of the system developed. As system managers, we drive and support several important activities prior/during and after feature development.

What you will do
Perform system studies and manage compliance with standards for our 5G cloud native products to align with customer needs.
Manage strategic technical leadership within the area by contributions to the product evolvement plan and roadmap.
Build and manage requirements and take ownership for selected system artifacts. Eg. Ensure that the system requirements exist and are accurate.
Support Q&A and Tender activities and pre-sales support within the competence area
Work close with other system managers and be a member and contributor in the system management community cross the packet core organisation.
Manage continuous quality improvements of products and processes.
Work closely with Product Owners and other related partners, be involved in early technical discussions, and provide recommendations to standardization work


You will bring
Deep knowledge in Ericsson packet core products and standards,
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in telecommunications area.
Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team in daily operations
Innovation attitude paired with the ability to adapt and respond to change
Interest and pride in understanding the whole product and its environment and passion for learning and sharing information with team members
Good communication skills, paired with fluency in spoken and written English
A positive “can-do” attitude
