What you will do
In your role as Talent Acquisition Partner, you will drive the end-to-end recruitment processes by identifying, attracting, assessing, and recruiting talents from all over the globe. This includes working with candidate sourcing, screening, and short-listing of candidates, conducting psychometric tests and competence-based interviews. You are expected to work independently but also in close collaboration with business managers and HR colleagues as well as your talented colleagues within the team working towards the same goals.

Who are you
To be successful in this role, we believe you have extensive experience of global talent acquisition, probably from an internal TA department and/or from the agency side. Experience of recruitment within R&D and Technology is important in this role. You are a certified user in psychometric tests, and you work with sourcing and Talent Insights tools. We believe that you have an academic degree in a relevant area, possibly with a flavor of engineering or IT, and that you are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and verbally. Over the years, we believe that you have gained knowledge and experience in a wide range of current recruiting practices and trends – but still kept a curiosity to learn and develop within this field. If you have experience working in the SuccessFactors suite, that is seen as meritorious. Last, but not least, your positive approach will take you a long way!

Electromobility is changing the automotive world, and we are now looking for you who want to be part of this change happening in our industry! The Electromobility organization is responsible for the complete development lifecycle of our electric powertrains – from advanced engineering through product development into the maintenance phase. 

Key responsibilities: 
•    Utilize strong software background to oversee and manage software-related tasks and projects.
•    Independently and in teams verify functionality in vehicles as well as in rigs and lab environment
•    Coordinate and execute software releases, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software components.
•    Act as the main point of contact and responsible person between our internal teams and external suppliers.
•    Manage and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, including software requirement specification (SWRS) management.
•    Contribute to component sourcing by taking responsibility for technical specifications and conducting Software evaluations for an electric power take-off component used in the automotive industry.
•    Develop and execute the software release plan, as well as coordinate verification and validation (V&V) activities.
•    Ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of the component throughout the development process.
•    Review and provide support to suppliers regarding necessary documentation.

Who are you? Are we a perfect match?
We believe that to be successful in this position, you are a pragmatic team player that loves to take responsibility of Software for an Electric power take-off component. You have a broad knowledge and experience of developing Embedded Software applications and AUTOSAR, also you are used to express yourself within required specifications. You feel comfortable owning and take responsibility for your components and do so with a great attitude. We therefore believe that you have:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
•    5-8 years of relevant experience in software development and management.
•    Strong knowledge of Power Electronics.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations is a plus.
•    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Provide thorough analysis and insights of market, technology, digital product trends and the competitive landscape.

* Drive planning circle for digital product, including roadmap, resource needs and budget required.
* Ensure digital products fulfill all legal, compliance and security requirements.
*  Secure release and roll-out plan, including change management and training approach.

Who we are looking for?

* Experience from and knowledge of IT development in Process and IT projects
* At least 3 years of Project Management experience in automotive industry
* Experience from working in an agile delivery organization
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* As we work in a global organization, it is important to have a good command of the English language

There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the Vehicle dynamics, ADAS and Automation team within Complete Vehicle, as Experienced Test Engineer Ride comfort within Complete Vehicle.

As an Experienced Test Engineer, you are responsible for leading the test by planning, executing, and reporting feature and function tests within the Ride comfort area. You will be working very closely with engineering departments in different technology streams and vehicle streams.
Your main task is to define strategies for how to perform tests within ride comfort area including new technologies. Identify the verification needs for Features, function test in order define test requirements. Create test plan. Manage, plan, prepare, and execute the test. Analyze results and give recommendations in their respective technology area. Prepare and manage fault reports from tests. Document results and compile the engineering report (ER). Continuously update Test Methods and propose updates of Technical Requirement together with the technology areas. Define strategies and develop test methods for new technologies, transport solutions within features

Testing is the heart of Complete Vehicle, and it is a strategic area where extensive development and substantial challenges will happen in the coming 5 years.

Who are you?

* M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, or equivalent professional experience.
* You have at least 3 years of working experience within vehicle dynamics testing from the automotive industry, preferably within development or verification
* Minimum 1 year of experience in vehicle instrumentation, test setup (vehicle preparation, etc.), test data collection (test track, public road), test data management (file format, storing/uploading and reuse), frequency analysis and interpretation of results, and writing reports
* Knowledge about agile way of working
* Have a holistic view, communicative, work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with stakeholders
* Demonstrate proactiveness, flexibility and motivated to learn
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Good to have: C/CE License

What you will do

Combustion system control group is responsible for developing combustion control strategies and embedded SW for heavy duty combustion engines for the complete Volvo Group.
We work in close cooperation with other SW development teams at Volvo GTT, contributing also to onboard diagnostics, after-treatment and electro-mobility functionality.
We have many interesting challenges in front of us to develop control strategies and embedded SW solutions to drastically lower the emissions and fuel consumption from our future combustion engines. New functionality is needed to support the transfer from diesel engines to fossil free fuel for example hydrogen and biodiesel.
We work according to agile principles with autonomous scrum teams, taking full responsibility for their deliverables. The teams work with development of system solutions, software design, implementation and verification of complete functions. Verification is performed in SIL, HIL as well as on engine or in vehicles. We are responsible for the entire development chain from early project phases to maintenance.

Who are you?

You have a master’s degree mechatronics area or related, and previous experience from embedded software development in the automotive industry with great attitude and a willingness to learn. You are innovative and creative and like to share knowledge with colleagues. Experience from H2-ICE development is meriting.

Your starting point will be to, together with your colleagues at VFS and in the broad cross-functional network at the Volvo Group, take responsibilities in the following areas:

* Conduct ESG Materiality Assessments, aligning sustainability strategy with VFS business strategy and stakeholder expectations. Focus the efforts on the most impactful sustainability issues and allocate adequate resources on them.

* Create data models and timeframes to support sustainability initiatives for VFS across multiple functions
* Lead and coordinate global corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, engaging VFS employees, and assuring an active and positive social role in the world around us.
* Build global network to accelerate implementation of sustainability initiatives in the markets.
* Monitor Corporate Social Activism trends and identify opportunities to take public stances aligned with Volvo Group and VFS priorities.
* Develop risk assessment tools to identify ESG & Sustainability gaps and areas for improvement
